Not the best choice
Signing up was easy, but then the flurry of emails and need to download an app and pay an additional monthly fee for it, and some confusion about how to get the various protections launched have left me disillusioned.

My experience with ID Shield is…Terrible
My experience with ID Shield is terrible. I signed up for their $1 dollar 7 day trial to get a hold of my credit information. Before the week was out I told them I didn't want to continue their services. I got a hold of my credit report from Trans Union for free.
On November 13, 2024, ID Shield bill me US $14.95 for their services though I told them I didn't want to continue. On November 21, 2024, ID Shield tried to bill my credit card for another $42. My credit card detected their second billing as fraud and froze my
Visa card. I had to get a new credit card because there was no other way to stop them from continuing to fradulently bill me. Don't us them, you are warned.
