Horrible experience, does not take ownership of fault. Just ghosts you.
The parcel box has a few replaceable parts. So if something like an arm breaks, you will have to buy an entirely new box. And the box isn't cheap.
Also, the company sold me a lock that isn't suitable for their large box. And they didn't take ownership of this error, gaslighting me by saying that they have sold many boxes so the lock can't be faulty. But it turns out the new lock was 16mm while the older one that came with the box was 20mm.
They refuse to pay return postage for the lock despite me showing proof of being mis sold. They just ghosted me when I showed them proof that the new lock was not the same size as the older lock.
Their customer service was very defensive and takes their view that their product is perfect and "faultless" and any issues lies with the customer.
They won't accept that I was mis-sold and I have to return the item at my own cost to them to see whether it was defective.
They keep using the word that the item is "faultless," which is a way of deflecting the issue and claim that the item is "fault-less."
It may well be "faultless" and "operating as designed" but if it's the wrong measurement, then it's not fit for purpose!

We have been in regular contact regarding this matter and have responded throughout the process in an effort to help resolve your concerns.
The replacement lock supplied was our standard lock, which is the same specification we have used in our parcel boxes for many years. We have not changed the lock specification, and based on the information available to us, we have no reason to believe an incorrect lock was supplied.
While the photograph provided shows differences in the dimensions of two locks, it does not confirm that the replacement lock supplied was faulty.
We appreciate that you experienced difficulties fitting the replacement lock and, in order to investigate further, we offered to inspect the item if it was returned to us. Unfortunately, without examining the lock, we were unable to determine whether a fault was present.
We take customer service seriously and always aim to resolve concerns fairly, professionally and in line with the information available to us.

Not as good as it looks
Letter box is easily compromised by a magazine or large letter which can only enter via the parcel opening. Often these do not drop past the security device causing a jam.
Water tends to pool in the horizontal openings so some care is needed to avoid getting mail wet when opening.
However the box is a nice size and weight to be mounted on a fence and is pleasing to look at. It’s well made but I have concern about rusting along the top edges which will pool with water. With a little more thought this would be a great mail box. I have removed the internal security flat and hopefully some of the issues will go away; it’s hard to see into the box so I dont think this is much of an issue. The next size up may work better if it’s to be mounted on a solid wall!

Regarding larger magazines and letters, the dimensions and maximum mail sizes are provided on our website, along with product videos demonstrating how the security mechanism operates. For customers who regularly receive larger items, we would generally recommend selecting one of our larger-capacity models to provide additional clearance and storage space.
The internal security plate is designed to help prevent unauthorised access to mail while still allowing deliveries to enter the box. As with any secure letterbox, there is a balance between security and accommodating oversized mail items.
We also appreciate your comments regarding water collecting around the top opening and your observations about long-term durability. The letterbox is manufactured from galvanised steel and finished with a durable powder coating to help protect it from the elements, but we always welcome constructive feedback as we continue to develop and refine our products.

Superb solution to soggy parcels
Years ago delivery drivers would come through our 5 bar gate, walk the 14 paces, and place packages under our covered porch, where they could not be seen and were largely safe from the elements. Today, most are hurled over the gate onto the gravel - regardless of the weather. A solution was needed and I Love Parcels offered the perfect option. A Chelsea II Parcel box was a great choice to fit onto the fence, alongside our gate. The bulk of the box sits inside the property, with only the access door slightly protruding over. The rear door allows for access to mail and parcels without having to pass through the gate. I built a small wooden frame to both mount the box perpendicular (the fence slopes) and to secure the box with 4 screws. While many might consider this a pricey item, it is very well constructed, strong, and I would expect it to last many, many years. I should also mention that I opted for the free delivery (3 to 5 days) and the box arrived, via DPD, after only 2 days and was very well packaged. Overall, I'm extremely happy I purchased from I Love Parcels.

Great Product, Awesome Customer Service
I cannot praise this company enough. Not because the first attempt at delivery went well (it didn't), but because they did absolutely everything (and more than anyone else has) that they possibly could, to put it right.
The original courier APC was a shambles, first telling us they wouldn't deliver on the stated day and then turning up later that day (when we were out), next day they delivered just the frame they'd badly damaged in transit, at which point they claimed they couldn't deliver the post box because it was more than 30kgs, (it actually states 27kgs on the box)........ so APC sent it back to ILP. APC Couriers are totally incompetent.
I Love Parcels didn't make this my problem and they ensured my full order was redelivered undamaged 2 working days later, through another courier. No blame, no excuses, just excellent customer service from Fiona. Worth the money. Thank you.
