Imupro is a life changer
Julie is super helpful. She is personable and makes the extra effort to ensure you get the right test, but not making you buy more, just to make a sale. She genuinely cares about your outcome and wellbeing. I did the 270 complete test 3 years ago, and my stomach cramps and bloating disappeared. I also lost my baby weight I had struggled with. I am retesting now, after having my 3rd child as I feel my body has changed. I have highly recommended imupro to many friends and family. And will continue to. It has been a life changer for me, and my husband (who suffered from joint pain and inflammation for 10+yrs before).

It was the best thing I did for myself
It was the best thing I did for myself. After being in agony for nearly 12 months, I found out I was gluten intolerant. Now that I'm not having any gluten in my diet, my gut is slowly improving.

Not particularly useful
Not particularly useful. I was trying to pinpoint what foods were causing my gut problems / discomfort and this didn’t really help. For example no dairy intolerance was identified, but I do experience bloating and discomfort if I have too much dairy. So sadly I seem to have spent $600 for nothing.
EDITED after company comment:
My doctor did make it clear to me this isn’t always helpful for everyone. The dairy issue was just one example of why this test wasn’t useful for me - there are others. Eg my test identified intolerances to certain foods like eggs and cashews, but I actually don’t experience any problems at all when eating those foods.
My gut issues have improved dramatically just by me paying more attention to what I appear to react to, and also by significantly reducing sugar and carb intake. I’ve no doubt there are people for whom this test is useful. In my particular case it wasn’t.

I'm sorry to hear you haven't had relief from your gut discomfort. I can see you were referred by your doctor for our test.
Ideally before you test with us the practitioner would explain to you that we are not diagnosing lactose intolerance. We are testing for delayed allergies toward cows milk proteins. The antibodies break down with restricted exposure, so if you actively avoid cows milk for many months then your body won't produce these antibodies (and existing IgG will break down), and they are less likely to be picked up on the test. The test will identify foods in your current diet that are causing inflammation.
It's also possible to have issues breaking down dairy that are not related to IgG, such as a deficiency in good gut bacteria.
I hope that makes sense and apologies again that this wasn't clarified to you.

don't waste your money
It's just a useless test. Both my GP and Gastroenterologist told me it was a waste of my money. You make out this is real science but obviously this is not the case. No matter how you put it.

We are sorry to hear you have not found the test to be useful for your condition. We did provide you with the results of multiple tests. Were you able to strictly avoid the foods for at least 5 weeks?
The ImuPro test is manufactured by R Biopharm in Germany under strict In Vitro Diagnostic Regulations. In Australia we have been established since 2005 and receive daily referrals from GPs, integrative medical doctors as well as psychiatrists.

Not even convinced these tests are…
Not even convinced these tests are accurate, missed key issues and claimed intolerance of things I’ve never had even slight issues with (or things most people don’t even touch!)…ended up with no answers just more doubt. Money would be better spent elsewhere I suspect.
Then had the site send me a request to review under someone else’s name….

We are sorry to hear you haven't seen improvements in your health following the elimination diet based on your results.
It's important to clarify that we don't claim intolerances. We provide you with an accurate diagnostic test that shows food proteins to which you have an elevated concentration of IgG antibodies. Those foods may or may not be responsible for physical symptoms. That is why the elimination phase of 5-8 weeks is important, followed by provocation. Our tests are manufactured by R Biopharm in Germany with very strict In Vitro Diagnostic Regulations in place.
The symptoms of food intolerances can all present the same but the causes are different and therefore the testing is different. ImuPro accurately pick up food proteins that may be causing inflammation. However like all tests, it is not a cure all. Your symptoms may be caused by something outside the realms of our testing. For example if you have a salicylate intolerance this is not able to be tested, that does not mean this test is inaccurate.
We wish you good luck on your health journey and hope you are able to find some answers.

Not helpful
I had the whole bunch of test and selected the most expensive package to check for food allergies.I am having chronic hay fever and acne.
I went on restricted diet just according to my results . I am on this diet for 4 weeks now with no change in my symptoms at all. Will try one more week but I am really disappointed.

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t had any relief from your acne or hayfever yet. I can see that you did the Complete test.
I struggled with acne for years as well so I understand how frustrating it is to find a solution.
We are one test that can help people uncover their food intolerances, we are able to diagnose type 3 delayed allergies which involves an immune response to the food proteins.
Often practitioners will use our tests for their patients as one part of an overall health protocol.
For many people with skin conditions, avoiding these foods helps significantly. If not, then you will need to continue to explore what else might be going on for you.
We have also had experiences where people thought they were strictly avoiding foods but on deeper inspection were actually still eating it unknowingly (eg sunflower oil when they were meant to avoid sunflower seeds, or they had some protein powder or chocolate and were meant to avoid cow’s milk).
The elimination period we suggest is 5-8 weeks, so it may be worth continuing with your hard efforts for a few more weeks. Skin turnover takes on average 40-56 days.

I don't think this is worth it. I did it, and it told me that I was allergic to all the food I usually eat, and all the food I hate was best for me, even though that's what usually makes me vomit when I have it.

Hi and thank you for your review. Vomiting can be an immune reaction to foods, we are testing delayed reactions (mediated by IgG antibodies). Symptoms of delayed allergies cannot always be attributed to the last food you ate, since it can take hours or days before the reaction actually occurs. This is why avoiding all flagged foods is important, it's not always the ones we suspect. The other more serious type is immediate allergies (IgE antibodies). Both types of allergies can lead to vomiting, we would suggest to follow up with your GP for further investigation.
