We are New Zealand's first 100% Organic certified coffee roastery. We source our coffee directly from high altitude, shade-grown organic coffee plantations, mostly from Peru. The result: a great coffee with a bush to cup integrity and quality assurance. Choose Organic certified coffee, for a better quality cup, a better environment, carbon reduction and better outcomes for local communities. Each coffee variety and origin is traditionally drum roasted to its ideal profile. We blend each type of coffee after roasting. We rest the coffee for at least a day to degas and package in high barrier film so that the coffee can degas and develop its flavour further, without staling due to moisture and air exposure.

Excellent company, Excellent Coffee
The website is well laid out, easy to use and the information available for each coffee is very detailed.
The coffee itself is incredible!
The roast profiles are to perfection, the flavours and notes are very accurate to description and the freshness of the coffee when delivered is excellent!
Overall, very very pleased that I found Inca Fé!

Best Coffee available. Great service. Good price. I've been getting IncaFe Coffee for several years, now. Sometimes I try something else, but I always come back because I can't find any other Coffee as good.

My opinion of your coffee
Sorry but I used to buy from Pirate Nation. They have gone so I choose you guys. My experience is the coffee does not have the nice flavor of the PN. I find it a little bit bland.

Hi Dave, you bought the Habesha, which is a 100% Ethiopian coffee. The recipe and roasting has not changed much from when we won the Supreme Award at the NZ Coffee festival with this coffee. Quality of Yirgacheffe, one of the varieties in this coffee, is quite variable from season to season and from lot to lot. The lot we are just finishing is not the best we have had but still the coffee is very nice. It needs a slower and longer extraction. It is a medium roast that means it is more acidic with more subtle notes. If you are looking for a bigger body and bolder coffee we suggest the Forza or Java. Forza has a bold flavour and Java is roasted darker to give more toast notes.
