Heard about this store from an expat Spain group. We ordered for the first time and the order never arrived/received. After contacting the customer care, they mentioned they had reshipped the order and that order also never received. Our experience is very very bad with Dookan.com and will not be ordering anything again. Now we are asking them to refund our payment ... hopefully that gets processed.

We have been a long time customer here for over 11 years and have received the best service from them and all our needs have been met. Clean and tidy environment, friendly owners, fresh stocks and packaged goods. Parking is available and we look forward to our shopping there.

After a week of placing an order, I received a call that some of the items were not available, so I asked them to send the order without those items and refund the amount for unavailable items which they said was not possible. I asked to cancel the complete order, so the lady got rude and asked me to do it online. I tried to cancel it online, but it didn't work. I sent them an email to cancel the order and refund the amount, and now I am waiting for my money back; I hope I will get it back. Ordering it from Jamoona has already wasted 5 days. There is no more Atta in the house. :-(

Ich habe wirklich noch nie einen derartig schlechten Kundenservice und Umgang mit einer Beschwerde erlebt.
Ich habe gekühlten Paneer bestellt und dieser kam leider zu spät bei mir an (Lieferprobleme mit DHL) und da es an den Tagen warm war und der Käse übers Wochenende irgendwo herumlag, war er bei Lieferung warm und sauer. Zusätzlich war ein Glas Sambal Olek bei Lieferung offen und ausgelaufen.

Ich habe also dem Kundenservice geschrieben, die während der gesamten Konversation (mehrere mails hin und her) das Sambal Olek Glas ignorierten und mir versicherten, dass der Käse in Ordnung wäre. Nun ist es aber so, dass ich einen sauren und stinkenden Käse als "schlecht geworden" erkenne, das wollte der Kundenservice aber nicht akzeptieren, weil es nicht deren Problem sei, wenn die Lieferung nicht rechtzeitig erfolgt.
Keine Ahnung ob sie erwartet haben, dass wir das Zeug essen und uns dann im schlimmsten Fall eine Lebensmittelvergiftung holen..

Am Ende bin ich also auf rund 20 € sitzen geblieben und werde nie wieder etwas in diesem Store bestellen und würde auch jedem davon abraten.

Ein Armutszeugnis so mit einer Beschwerde umzugehen.

My Overall Experience is good.

After a year as a customer of this on line grocery store it is now the only place that I buy my ingredients from. This last order included something that I hadn't noticed before, Chai Masala. I love it!
Everything that I buy is much cheaper than supermarkets and of much better quality. As there are no other outlets within 60mls of my home Indian Grocery Store is a real lifeline. The icing on the cake with this order was a lovely gift of a pack of Bajri Dhebra Khakhra. Never seen those or eaten them before. Delicious.

Very high price when compared to local stores in the area, with no price visibility, not going there anymore.

Whilst I did leave a positive review earlier of the bulk order I made in December last year, it is worth mentioning regarding the poor quality of the yellow dal I ordered along with. I have used it three times so far and all this while I thought I probably burnt the dal while I cooked it, but today when I smelt the dal as is in its packet, in the raw form- it has a very foul odour as though it has been burnt and left in the packaging for years. I checked the expiration date and it seems to be fine but the dal in the raw form and when cooked is definitely very very bad. I feel it was a waste of money on ordering a bulk quantity of it in the first go itself. All the other dry grocery items and snacks I ordered seem to be fine. @IndianGroceryStore- any comments? I definitely can not use this anymore and is an utter waste.

My first experience and it certainly won't be the last. Here one can find many difficult to source items. The ordering process was completely painless and the order was delivered very quickly. The packaging was amazing and ensured that the contents arrived intact. I even received an immediate refund without asking, for an item that was out of stock. These people cannot be faulted.

Faster than expected all order in tact good experience

I received my package last weekend. The delivery driver left the heavy box outside my door and he did not even offer for help in lifting the heavy box.

It’s always been a gud experience shopping with Indian grocery store.Delivery time,competitive price,all in all goods&services all very good. Happy Customer.
