Disappointed with Return Policy and Product Quality
I recently purchased a vase from [INSPECIAL HOME], and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The vase arrived with significant quality issues, including multiple scratches and poor texture, which were clearly documented and shared with their customer service team.
Despite my efforts to resolve the issue amicably, I was informed that the return shipping costs would not be covered because I did not select their "shipping premium" option at checkout. While I understand that different companies may have varying policies, I believe it is unreasonable to ask customers to bear the return shipping costs for defective products. This goes against general consumer protection principles, where sellers are usually responsible for such costs.
Their proposed resolutions included offering discount coupons or additional items with a replacement, but neither addressed the root of the issue: the defective product and unfair return policy. After multiple back-and-forth communications, I had no choice but to escalate the matter to my credit card provider through a chargeback dispute.
I wanted to share this experience to help others make informed decisions. If you’re considering purchasing from [INSPECIAL HOME], be aware of their policies regarding returns and consider the potential challenges if you encounter a quality issue.
