The quotes I got from the agent were much higher than what was quoted online. They just lure you in thinking that you're getting a good deal. Not only that, they sent me a list of things that they needed before they issue a policy. I have been insured for years. I have been with many of the top insurance companies. Alstate, State Farm,,Desjardins, Belair, etc... I'm still insured. My policy is up for renewal. It's going to be $102.00 cheaper if I continue with the same provider.
When I did ths quotes online, it was showing that I would be saving more than $250.00 per month.
My current rates went up because I moved to a high risk area. I have a Lexus RX350. It's 10 years old. That's another reason why my insurance jumped from $167.00 to $475.00 I needed to have my vehicle. So I DIDN'T have a choice but to pay the higher costs.

Why are you having people calling me with quote double and triple the online quote
The unethicals at caa was taking money out of my bank account until Dec of last year that I thought was for the auto insurance not realizing it was not...they then cancelled my policy just over a month ago

tom claimed I made a mistake on the year I was first insured as I entered 1978 instead of 1988...that is 37 years of:

I broke my leg almost a year ago...the vehicle has been parked....sitting im my garage...yet caa continued to charge me for a parked vehicle.

You are quoted a price after all the questions is answered and asked to call the office.
When you talk to an agent they come up with higher rates than the quote. If all the same information is included When completing for a quote and talking to the agent. Does not make sense. Why not don't give a quote or don't qualify you.

I subsequently received an email from the company, providing me with an estimated premium that was slightly lower than my current rate, which I found satisfactory. The company then attempted to contact me via phone, leaving messages requesting that I get in touch with them to discuss the details of my quote. Unfortunately, I was unavailable to take their calls; however, they provided their phone number and business hours, from Monday to Saturday. On Saturday, I contacted them at 10 am, and they promptly connected me with Maria, a broker from Scoop Insurance, who was extremely courteous and thorough in addressing my questions and concerns. Maria demonstrated patience and understanding, acknowledging my limitations as a senior citizen in navigating modern technology.

Be aware that on-line quotes represent conditions not disclosed and best case scenarios, and often are not close to what you will finally be quoted, when you speak to an advisor. In one case, the quote assumed I was including my house and reflected house insurance discount not fully disclosed... in another case the final quote was more than double because although they asked about claims in the last 3-5 years, when they discovered I had a small claim more than 18 years ago, my rate doubled. The contacts you speak with when you connect with an agent... are very courteous people, it is just that the online quote does not represent what you finally get.
