INTEGRAL SOLAR SOLUTIONS Reviews

I've been massively impressed with the ease and professionalism of the whole process, one that I've been putting off because I thought it was going to be a hassle, with pushy salesmen, hidden costs and potentially botched installation. Instead I got the opposite.
Initially i enquired about solar with octopus energy. They were ok, a bit of a faff, and came back with a price that was £3k more than integral. I saw the adverts on facebook for integral, thought I'd check it out as a comparison, spoke to Graham and asked a few questions i had. I got straight answers and a quote back remarkably quickly. Checking all the reviews, I couldn't find anything to concern me at all, so I went ahead and got the job booked in. In between times, chatting to friends and colleagues I was reassured that the advice over what sort of system to get [how many panels, size of battery and inverter etc] that I had received was spot on.

The installation was booked for yesterday, so on Monday the scaffolders turned up from St Helens to York at 8.40am, friendly lads, did the front and back of my house within a morning. Yesterday, the solar fitters came at a similar time, this time having come from Preston to York, again friendly lads who clearly knew their job, explained the odd bit and bob to me, were happy to move the odd thing as I changed my plan as to where the hardware should go in light of their advice, and they got the first set of panels online from 1.30pm. The lads helped me get the app running on my phone and answered any questions i had politely and informatively. They packed everything up, left my house without any mess an hour or so later. Today, Wednesday, the scaffolder have been round in the morning and taken everything down. No fuss, no mess.

I was left with the sigen app, admiring the interface, it's like strava, but with clearer diagrams, lots of numbers to process, which i like as it answers virtually any question you may have. the sun comes out from behind a cloud and you can see the immediate effect it has on your energy production. It is early July, so the time is ripe for soaking up the solar rays, but i've stopped drawing any power from the grid and am just feeding energy back in. It's just a shame the feed in tariffs aren't as generous as they were 10 years ago, as i'd be a very rich man very soon.
As it is, I'm just chuffed to have come across a northern independent company that fulfils all it's promises so efficiently. Highly recommended.

I met Graham a few months ago and immediately warmed to his friendly, chatty nature. From the outset, he came across as approachable, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping us make the right decision for our home rather than simply making a sale. Trust, honesty and openness are really important qualities when making a significant investment, and Graham demonstrated all three throughout the process.

He provided a no obligation quote and left us to review everything in our own time, with absolutely no pressure, chasing or pestering. He was happy to answer questions, explain the options available and talk through the benefits and considerations in a way that was easy to understand. His advice felt balanced and transparent, which gave us confidence that we were making an informed decision. He was also great with the children when he visited and managed to explain all the key points clearly despite a fair amount of background noise.

Once I gave the go ahead, Terri in the office was excellent from start to finish. She was always easy to reach, happy to help and provided reassurance and clarification whenever needed. She is a real asset to the company and played a huge part in making the whole process feel smooth, organised and stress free.

When it came to the installation, the professionalism continued throughout. The scaffolding team were polite and friendly, and they came up with practical solutions to potential issues. For example, there was a possibility that the scaffold would need to be drilled into and attached to the wall. I wasn’t keen on this, so they adapted the design to suit our preferences while keeping safety at the forefront of their minds.

Next came the roofer and electricians, Lewis, Harry and Adam. These chaps were brilliant. They were polite, friendly and willing to listen to my concerns, finding solutions that allowed the front of the house to remain free from visible cables and wiring. They also managed to position the battery in a section of the garage opposite the fuse box, helping us to accommodate future home improvements. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

At the end of the installation, they tidied everything up and took the time to show me how the app worked before leaving.

From start to finish, Integral Solar were fantastic. It genuinely felt like dealing with a company that values customer service, communication and doing things properly. I look forward to staying in touch with Graham and monitoring how the system performs over the coming months and years.

A big thank you to Graham, Terri, Lewis, Harry, Adam and the whole team for making the process so straightforward and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

So glad I went with Integral Solar Solutions. They have been there for us every step of the way, from helping us understand what we needed to answering questions and always with a quick response.
The installation went exceptionally well, with no problems and the lads were lovely, knowledgeable, kind and tidy. We even learnt of something else that we wanted to install and Graham came straight down with the part for installation on the same day!
The panels themselves look very tidy and the battery and inverter unit is very smart. We would definitely recommend. Thanks team x

Had our panels installed today, and cannot fault a single step of the process!
Graham was knowledgeable, amenable to questions and alterations, and never pushed the ‘hard sell’ on us.
Terri in the office is friendly and responsive.
The three guys who installed our panels left the property spotless and consulted us many times throughout the installation to ensure we were happy with the placement of wires and batteries etc.
could not recommend integral enough, will be wholehearted singing their praises to anyone who will listen!
Thanks!

From beginning to end, Graham was accessible. His team are great and his prices are competitive to the point of being unbeatable. Terri needs a particular shout out as she's without a doubt the hidden ninja in that company. Getting things done in a heartbeat, making it as clear as possible and going above and beyond.

Highly recommend this company. Fantastic, trustworthy people to deal with.

From start to finish, our experience with Integral has been everything you could hope for. Graham visited in person to assess both our requirements and the property, taking the time to understand exactly what we were looking for.
He seems a genuinely honest and knowledgeable guy who gave straightforward, unbiased advice rather than a sales pitch. He recommended a particular system which, reassuringly, aligned with the conclusions I’d already reached through my own research. We then spent a considerable amount of time discussing the pros and cons of various alternatives, with plenty of anecdotes for good measure, which allowed me to make a fully informed decision.
Graham was patient, approachable, and always willing to answer questions, no matter how detailed or technical. At no point did I feel under pressure to make a decision.

A light-hearted warning to future customers: if you have any donkeys in the house, make sure they're well hidden before Graham arrives-he can certainly talk the hind legs off one! Fortunately, in this case, that's a compliment; his enthusiasm and willingness to share his expertise are genuinely refreshing.

The installation itself was equally impressive. The scaffolding was erected the day before as planned, and on installation day Adam and Harry arrived promptly at 8:00am. Both were friendly, professional and incredibly efficient. It was immediately obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing, but what really stood out was how much care they took over the details.
Throughout the installation they kept me fully informed, regularly checking that I was happy with decisions such as cable routes and trunking positions, and looking for ways to achieve the neatest possible finish. Rather than simply taking the easiest option, they clearly took pride in doing the job properly.
Once the hardware was installed, they took the time to set up the battery system and EV charger, and patiently walked me through the various apps and controls. They didn’t leave until they were satisfied that everything was working correctly and, more importantly, that I was comfortable using the system myself.

Terri in the office is a real accent to the company, unfailingly approachable and helpful.

In an industry where trust is essential, Integral have been professional, knowledgeable and transparent throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a solar and battery installation.

Visited the house to ascertain what was required and how the system would work. Best quote price and quality wise. Installed 18 panels plus battery today and am now not using the grid. I realise its June but am very pleased with the installation. Happy wife as well, panels look very good.

From start to end Integral I could not have asked for better. Graham walked me through the entire process and gave me an incredibly competitive quote. Any time I had questions he answered and was amazing throughout. Terri in the office was incredibly polite, funny and was amazing for all questions and getting the ball rolling. The team who installed the system, Adam, Harry, and Rinor, were the best team I could have asked for. They checked everything with me as they completed the job and made sure it was to my spec the whole way. Phenomenal job the entire way and have recommended the company to everyone I know interested in solar. 10/10 will not regret these guys.

Really, really good company to use. Graham was really easy to deal with, knowledgeable and friendly, but above all seemed genuinely concerned with me getting what I wanted - so much so that I ended up with a 15 panel system (as opposed to an 8 panel system that I'd been quoted elsewhere), in a better location, with a gateway - for less money! No upfront payment. Quick in getting me booked in for install. Super helpful and decent install team. Everything working wonderfully. And aftercare and support team also flawless service. I can't think of a reason not to use them.

The process with the team at Integral is excellent. From working through the price and the questions we had, they made things simple and easy for us to make a decision to use them for our solar purchase. The 3 day turnaround is great (scaffolding up, install and scaffolding down). And the team that installed were polite and helpful throughout the day. Highly recommended

Really pleased with our installation. From receiving the initial design and quote to setting the date for installation was a breeze. The installation crew were a pleasure to have around, they worked so hard, explained everything, and were happy to answer any questions.
I would 100% recommend Integral Solar Solutions,

I have been looking for Solar and a Battery solution for my home for a number of years now, but nothing quite clicked. Cost was too high, pushy sales, bad advice. With concerns about energy this year, I reluctantly revisited the idea and was soon met with confusing information and the usual pushy sales chat. That was until I spoke with Graham from INTEGRAL, he was an absolute game changer from the start, genuine focus on the customers needs, real experience and knowledge of the products. Graham did not push the sales pitch and I had ample time to review his suggestions. I researched the products he had recommended and they were highly rated across the Internet. Other Solar Installers could not come close to the quote Graham gave either, some saying it was not cost effective but rang me back multiple times if I would change my mind and go with a bigger more established company. I am so glad I didn't listen and stuck with Graham and his team they have been excellent throughout. My advice is read the reviews, check the products triple check with other quotes and you will still come back to INTEGRAL. From initial chat to commission took about 2 months but most of the time was waiting on paperwork to be completed by third parties. Graham came for final survey checks, scaffolding went up and then I had the pleasure of having Louis, Harry and Brandon come and fit the system. They were punctual and professional, I offered plenty of brews but I never once saw them taking a break. I genuinely thought this would take days, nope 24 panels and a battery/invertor was completed very quickly and they had attention to detail ensuring cables were neat and everything was symmetrical. Once set up they took me through the system. Terri in the office rang me before the three lads left to ensure everything was to my satisfaction, which it was and more. Graham phoned a short time later and surprised me by saying he had took deliver of the latest solar panels that were more powerful and better looking, and had decided to upgrade what he had originally quoted me for for no additional cost. I can not recommend Graham and the team enough it has simply been one of the best 'big' purchases of my life.

Excellent service. No nonsense. Friendly fitters and very efficient. App set up and explained well. Now making my own electricity!

Extremely happy with Integral. From our first chat for advice, to quote, to installation. They are v easy to deal with and the install was priced sensibly. What I particularly like is the pre install and post install care and support that they provide regarding DNO application, tarrifs etc to maximise your savings over time. Would highly recommend.

We recently had solar panels installed by Integral Solar Solutions and have been extremely impressed with the entire process from start to finish.

Graham was excellent throughout the initial consultation. He took the time to clearly explain how the system works, answered all of our questions, and carefully assessed our energy usage before recommending the most appropriate solution for our needs. There was absolutely no hard sell or pushy sales tactics, just honest, knowledgeable advice that gave us confidence we were making the right decision.

The installation team were courteous, professional, and respectful of our property. They worked efficiently, kept everything tidy throughout the installation, and left the site spotless when the job was completed.

We would also like to thank Terri in the office, who was always friendly, helpful, and responsive, making the whole process run smoothly from booking through to completion.

After comparing several quotes, Integral Solar Solutions also offered the best value for money without compromising on quality or service. The combination of competitive pricing, excellent communication, professional installation, and genuine customer care made this an outstanding experience.

We would highly recommend Integral Solar Solutions to anyone considering solar panels.

100% 5 star from start to finish. Consultancy, the time they were willing to give to explain options and configurations and making sure I was confident in what I was getting as I knew next to noting about solar systems. The pre install care and communication was brilliant. Install team were also fantastic, very respectful and helpful, showing me the work and taking time to explain the app and ensuring there is plenty of after sales assistence if I need it. Very happy!

What a company nothing to much trouble, great set of lads who can't do enough for you everything spotless when they finish fully recommend to anyone who is thinking of having solar panels

I had been considering getting solar installed for some time but was nervous about getting someone i could trust and not cowboys. I was recommended Integral by a colleague of my wife’s. From day one Integral were excellent. From Graham the boss who did the design after asking what i wanted from solar, Terri in the office who organises everything to the lads doing the work. I couldn’t praise them all enough. The scaffolding was installed when planned and removed the day after the solar was installed. Everywhere left tidy with no disruption. I am an electrician and didn’t want cables everywhere. The installation lads discussed with me their plan for installation and I was very happy with it. They carried out the plan to perfection with no cables to be seen. If you are thinking of having solar installed you shouldn’t look any further than Integral you will not be disappointed. Thank you integral for not letting me down 👌

From start to finish the whole process was easy.
Graham and Terri were very polite and friendly answering and explaining any questions that I had.
On the day of installation, the crew turned up and again were friendly and polite, they started working straight away and they never stopped until the install was done, the job was tidy and looked good.
The lads tidied up after themselves, making sure I was happy with everything and then explained the app to me before leaving.
So would I recommend Integral? Absolutely. Its rare to find a company that genuinely delivers, this Business does.

Wow! Wow! Wow! after 6 months of researching I managed to find the best company ever, Graham, Terri and the fabulous fitting team.... Cables hidden and the kit fitted to perfection! The app really easy to set up your own strategy and honestly, energy independant for the last 3 days! Thanks team, if anyone needs confirmation reach out to me.. happy days ahead
