I was very disappointed with my experience. The company charged both me and my wife separately for the same tax rebate, even though there was no additional work involved. They still charged us twice.

The fees felt excessive and unfair considering the amount of work required. I would recommend that anyone considering this service carefully review the fee structure before proceeding.

Like many others, I had a bad experience with this company this year. I’ve used them several times and have never experienced service this bad from them.

I begrudgingly did a pre-authorisation on my card to allow them to debit their fee for their services. I’ve never had to do this before, hence I was unsure about it. Once I did this, I emailed them explaining that it’s my revolut card so I don’t always have funds available and I requested they send me and email prior to debiting their fee detailing the amount and date of the debit. From my understanding it would between on my payday for May. The day before my payday, I noticed a declined debit on my revolut account for this company. Subsequently I received a shocking email from them stating ‘These card details were provided by you for the specific purpose of paying our agreed fee once the tax savings were successfully secured on your behalf. Please be aware that providing payment details while knowing that sufficient funds are not available, or where there is no intention to honour the agreed payment constitutes fraudulent activity. We take matters of this nature very seriously.’

Firstly, as per my request, I never received a pre advice email of the debit. No one responded when I requested this so I had no reason to believe it would not be sent.

Secondly, they made the error of debiting my account a day before my payday and I was told by them that ‘This was not done by an individual in the office and this was a technical error in our system. We apologise for charging your card a day early but this fee was not charged.’

Lastly, I believe that this email is ridiculously strong worded for a first failed attempt at taking the funds. To accuse clients of fraud is a bit far fetched and I am shocked that they are even allowed to send such wording.

I sent an email to the company on May 21st about this and I am still yet to receive any acknowledgment.

Definitely won’t be using this company again and absolutely would not recommend.

Irish Tax Rebate is one the most reliable company in the whole of Ireland , I enjoy their services , Tax refund easy, straight foward and quick depending on your type of application, customer service is loyal as they take time to speak to client with clarity .. You pay them their fee by your self ..

प्रिय आयरिश लोगों, कभी शिकायत मत कीजिए कि आपके पासपोर्ट खर्च कितने महंगे हैं, क्योंकि आप एक यूरोपीय संघ देश में रहते हैं। मेरा देश ऐसा नहीं है और यहाँ हर तरह के धोखाधड़ी मौजूद हैं। एक जुनूनी महिला ने मेरी बहन की पहचान अपना ली और सोचा कि मैं ध्यान नहीं दूँगा, वह मेरे अपार्टमेंट में रहती है और मुझे तथा मेरे बीमार माता-पिता को अपनी मर्जी से आतंकित करती है। मेरे देश की नौकरशाही की जटिलताओं और पक्षपात के कारण, मैं खुद पुलिस के पास नहीं जा सकता, क्योंकि मैंने एक बड़ा हादसा झेला है और टखने की हड्डी टूट गई है, और यहाँ की व्यवस्था मेरी शारीरिक या मानसिक अक्षमताओं को मान्यता नहीं देती। वहाँ की घास अधिक हरी दिखती है। इसका पूरा आनंद लीजिए।

I dealt by phone and submitted by post receipts etc staff were helpful and informative, made life so much easier

They were life changing for me! When I first signed up, I was sceptical...BUT, I got over 3k in a revenue payment! They (without ANY prompting) just secured another €180 payment, I can't praise them enough

Irish Tax Rebates submitted my tax return without my permission and without verifying my personal circumstances and possible claim. Please be very careful in using them as you may find that future year tax returns are submitted on your behalf without you being told or asked for pertinent information. Mine was submitted as one half of a jointly assessed couple without Irish Tax Rebates contacting me to ensure that myself and my partner were still together and wanted to continue to be jointly assessed!

Have dealt with Irish rebates and honestly have to say these were amazing to deal with nothing was too much trouble for them would highly recommend them

Terrible waste of time , I thought the actually did them for you but it turns out you have to provided everything for the tax rebate so there’s actually zero point of using them as you’ve done everything yourself. Not to mention the nice big invoice we got after, €118 for them to submit the information we provided them. Should’ve just done it myself. MASSIVE waste of money

What a lovely surprise to be told I'd be receiving €1,620 tax back within a week and simply by 2 minutes application online! Very nice helpful people to deal with. Delighted, makes one feel working and paying tax has it's rewards! Many thanks.

They did Tax rebate for my wife and I previously. We both got an automated email for them again recently saying we were entitled to x amount this year and say yes on email if we wanted them to proceed. I queried a few things with them (but did not ask them to do my rebate) next thing I get an email with an invoice for €25 and a separate email with rebate amount a lot lower than what I was told I was entitled to, then pay 25euro for that.
Just be weary people what they say and what you could get is different.
I requested they cancel my rebate as I haven't authorised them to do it, and what they have done is fraudulent not to mention false information with regards to amounts.

Dont waste your time. I went online to see if I was due a rebate and I was but a colleague showed me how to do this myself and I removed them from my revenue. I then received emails saying I owed them a fee even do I did this myself in the end of money that was mine that I was owed. No where does it state I have to pay a fee if I do not go ahead with them. Dont apply and fall into this trap. You can simple do this yourself without the threats you owe them money.
