Took £1200 from £1900 & emails coming in left right & centre @£12 per email . Stay well clear of these scammers . Ridiculous what they are getting away with . Never been so threatened in my whole life with fianancial penalties

Iron stone legal were dealing with my bank charges claim, never heard nothing from them for months then sent emails to fill forms in to go to the ombudsman. Emailed the forms back immediately only to receive an email today stating that the claim is now closed as the ombudsman had not received the forms back in time from them. So all in all they had 6 months to send an email to me then forward it to the ombudsman. Incompetent is not the words I would use !

Avoid at all costs, they don’t tell you what the fees are beforehand then they take half your compensation. I got sent an email stating that they received a payment from me then they emailed me to confirm that I sent it. I’m due to pay balance this Friday which was arranged but they are sending reminder emails before the week has begun, it also states in the email they’ll charge you £12 for every reminder email they send!

Swiftly application process. I am very happy with the positive outcome of my claim! I did not even know I was owed that money! Thank you IronStone Legal.

Avoid at all costs, charge 42% which is day light robbery, ive had very little communication from ironstone legal, I’ve found out that my claim had been rejected by NatWest only after I phoned the bank up myself.
I then phoned ironstone up and asked 2 simple questions,
1. What was the basis for my claim
2. Is this a normal delaying tactic by NatWest?
I couldn’t get a straight answer from the lady I spoke to and once I mentioned that my claim been rejected the lady seemed disinterested in what was being said. This company want to do the bare minimum for the outrageous charge of 42%
I would also say that the positive reviews on here and Facebook are highly suspicious, if you read the Facebook reviews the positive comments are from individuals where they has been no or virtual no activity for over ten years then of a sudden they are writing extremely positive reviews, I’m not saying the reviews are fake but I’m sure anybody with a once of common sense can see the reviews are dodgy

To begin with - the person handled my claim misquoted the charges taken from me. On receiving the claim, I moved house and requested to update the address.

Surprisingly no customer services staff updated my address. When I requested to check the call scripts, every single representative avoided mentioning that the customer moved addresses.

As a result I continued receiving mails on the old address. In the end, the Iron Stone Legal issued CCJ under my name with 45% interest and the court fees. Of course, I cleared the payment - but I request UK government to shut down the operations of foreigners coming to the country and setting up the business to con the British population and making fortunes.

I agree with all of the other comments. I filled in an online form expecting more Information. I never spoke to anyone and never signed anything. They claim
They tell you their fees upfront this is a lie. They progress your claim without your consent and then send you an invoice for 42% of the money such a dodgy scamming legal company avoid at all costs when I called the guy was extremely rude and told me my invoice needed Payong and to go to citizens advice if I did not agree I had not event asked them to progress my claim I just enquired about it. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Complete SCAM artists. Not a reputable or company at all. DO NOT USE.

Look online so it yourself for free. Keep 100 percent with no CCJS.

They should be taken to court for misrepresentation

I saw an add on Facebook for them and I just had a look at the forms and filed it out, out of interest. There was absolutely no mention they take nearly 50% of your money. I got an email asking for all of my personal details and it screamed out SCAM to me. So I just ignored it and left it at that.
The Halifax bank then sent me a letter telling me about my claim, I then got a phone call off of the Halifax asking me why I thought I was mis-sold my packed bank account. It turns out they sold it to me in 2007 5 months after I had a traumatic brain injury.
Two days later I had 2 payments in to my account from the Halifax. Then 3 days after the claim I got a letter off of Iron Stone with an invoice for over £500 even tho I didn't contact them after my first inquiry.
DO NOT USE THEM! DO THE CLAIM YOUR SELF FOR FREE

Money grabbers !
Now being bombarded by 'threatening' emails.

I was contacted by this company and given no information about how extortionate their fees are. The made a claim to my bank for miss sold monthly bank charges, the claim was refused as I purchased the service online and wasn’t miss sold it as I hadn’t spoken to anyone, I have now received a bill for over £300 as they are trying to claim and completely separate refund may bank made which was because I had two fo the same account fees running on two accounts and nothing to do with the miss sold account fee.. Would never have used them if I had realised they would try and claim for something they had nothing to do with and that it would be 50%. I have made claims direct myself in the past with better success so would never use a company like this again, especially this one..

Absolutely awful. My mum has had 2 successful claims. She is very ill and yet even though we have paid them their fee insist that we haven't.. Do not use, it is too stressful!!!

Very quick to email constantly asking for payment then charge £12 for every email sent if you don't pay immediately.

I had a successful claim go through for a mis sold packaged bank account. Aside from their extortionate 42% fee (12% higher than competitors) I carried on with it thinking there is nothing to lose. I only found out after the fact that this process could of been done for FREE using resolver.co.uk. They pestered me to leave a review which I wasn't going to do, but I wasn't happy at all with the fee (which i did pay) I left a negative review via Facebook and Google stating my honest opinion and stating true and accurate facts that are public knowledge. I was then immediately hounded via phone calls, voicemail, private message in Facebook and emails threatening me with legal action to take the review down. So yeah, don't always trust a lack of negative reviews when chances are, anyone leaving negative feedback is practically harassed and bullied with legal threats into removing it. I assume this is more common with legal companies, but this practice is absolutely shameful no matter who does it. Just to add there was nothing defamatory about my review, there was no falsity and it couldn't possibly cause financial harm when you consider they charge more than competitors which surely has a greater weight than a negative review.

Learn from my mistake and do your research first!

Don't use this company even if don't claim any money back they send you invoices daily
