I put the amount on ss yearly income but taxable amount was right. The Idiot that checked for errors added those two #s and also where you put withdrawal from your 401k amount and taxable amount added them both together so it almost doubled my taxable income and they took 90% of my return I sent in the form to correct the info and they just threw it away so system so they could keep my money.

We owe the IRS ALOT due to the incompetence of a previous tax accountant and the mistakes she made, along with the IRS. They think there was "fraud" on our account, of which there wasn't. They want us to prove who we are, even though we've lived in the same place, and have submitted our IDs, etc. But they won't talk to us! And now we are getting the "we're going to take your house" letters, by certified mail. We have TRIED to pay them, TRIED to set up a payment plan, but these half wits can't even answer the phone. And when they do, they transfer you to another person, but actually they disconnect the call. I seriously spent 8 HOURS on the phone one day trying to get help. I finally was able to make an appointment, spoke to someone in person, and they said "the IRS will be in contact with you within 4 weeks to set up your payment plan". No contact, no calls, no payment plans. Yet the "we're going to levy your property" letters keep coming. I don't think I have a choice now other than to PAY for a tax attorney. This system needs to be OVERHAULED!!!

You guys are dumb AF!!! My address in on my license, my vehicles are registered to the address to the home i own, yet you cant seem to figure out where i live, how about stop mailing my shit to my parents house two hours away? I left that town because i cant stand their court systems, quit trying to make me have to travel 5 hours to deal with anything to do with the government the goverment is supposed to be for the people but all you do is inconvenience with how dumb you are

The representative I was speaking with said would have me on hold for about 6-7 min to review my account. & in reality I was on hold for 1hr. She did not bother to check back on me not even once. I needed to stay on hold because it’s hard to get a hold of someone if I would’ve hung up. Plus it was about my refund that I have been waiting to receive for already 8 months. & I’ve already submitted everything that has been asked of me. This is so frustrating.

I am going to file a writ of mandamus. I will be asking for more than my refund due to interest and punitive damages. Daniel Werfel you are attacking American peoples right to equality due to your political beliefs and views. You are not above the law and after I win, I will be asking for you to step down from your position, you do not serve the American people you serve yourself and your tyranny will come to an end.

You Can not talk to a person at all!!!! They only use automated answering! They do not give me the means to explain that I did not get my tax refund, even though I have already sent the form 3911 in over a week ago!! How can you actually talk to anyone at any office!!! I tried 3 different numbers and they do not give you a chance to ask about a refund that was mailed 9/12/24 and I have not received it yet!

The IRS is a disservice to the citizens. Unhelpful, doesn't answer phones. Its unfriedly to citizens.
NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED, IT IS INCOMPENT.

When is the government just going to get rid of the IRS Today I spent 3 hrs being patched around to eventually the phone call hangs up on me,

Today I spoke with the IRS representative T Alexander #100527...whatever! Mind you, I am a Power of Attorney, I proudly represent the State of California affiliated with all legal systems! Within. 35 years experience plus in my multiple fields! She needs More training!! She Only works for the IRS. Just because she works for the IRS, she thinks she's Almighty. I have no time to deal unprofessional individuals that work with the IRS or CA State Franchise Tax Board with this attitude ego'. FIX THIS IRS CORP!! Hire people that keep your reputation in check. -

Horrible customer service. People just say take them off speakerphone just so they have an excuse to hang up in you. He wasn't even on speakerphone. I PAID MY TAXES ON TIME and they keep losing the money. I spoke with a woman 3 months ago and resolved the issue, now they say I still owe them $16,000 plus penalties. I've been on hold for several hours total today. This is ridiculous!

Been calling all day to talk to someone and can't I get sent to a different line everything or hung up on this is bull over 10 hours of time

I just don't understand how they ask you about a million questions when they owe YOU money back! I understand for identity but come on, when you owe us money back is all that really necessary especially given social security numbers etc... to help identify the person?

The IRS is in violation of my constitutional rights. Violation of my 4th amendment by not articulating why my taxes are being reviewed. Map vs Ohio 367 US 643. Violations of my 6th amendment right. My property is being held without due process. I received my second notice claiming they needed nothing else from me. The IRS is in clear violations of their own taxpayers bill of rights. No one can even get ahold of them to clear up any delay. Lastly this is an oppression of law 42 ISC 1983. Just because you use our tax $ to pay your bills does not mean you are allowed to withhold our property without reason.

They don’t care about anyone!!! The workers are horrible and never offer solutions. I need my money and they choose to keep sending it in the mail for it to be stolen.

If there was a way to give a big fat zero, I would. I was just on the phone with them about my taxes from last year and this year. All of which have not been returned to me. I have been calling not only them but my tax person for last year's taxes and they're getting the same thing. At this point I'm ready to scream and being someone who works for customer service this is the worst way to feel. I finally got through to someone today and the call went over the time that they close. At 13 minute after they hung up on me and I'm honestly ready to snap on anyone from the IRS because of it. Why take the call if you're not going to finish it at all? What's the point of taking the calls if you're going to hang up on me? Get it together. I'm done verifying who I am and there's no way to find out anything else about what's going on with MY funds that should have been returned by now.. smh... this is why I strongly dislike the country I live in sometimes. Where's my money? Any other time you all want us to pay you or you'll take something away from us. What about when we want our money?!

After countless on-hold and disconnected calls over the past 4-5 months I finally got through to a IRS Customer Service Representative (Yvonne K, Badge # 1003434741) who knew what she was doing and talking about! So thankful for her super good (great) Customer Service skills. She was able to listen effectively and efficiently to my inquiry and then provide an appropriate resolution accordingly. Thank You Yvonne K! It's definitely more people like you that should be hired by the IRS and that are adequately named and fitted to represent a major organization such as them. Keep up the great work! :)

Oh my, if I could give a negative 10, I would. My taxes were frozen (by mistake) and I've trying to un-freeze them for almost 5 months now. I only found this out recently after 5-6 calls and calls/requests to another agency.
Everyone I've spoke to at the IRS has either not known what was going on or outright told me something untrue. I've never dealt w/ anything like this!
How does the head of the IRS keep his job?! It makes you lose further faith in your gov't, if it wasn't low already.

Should be “0” stars. Almost impossible to reach anyone there by telephone. Takes multiple in person visits to get simple answers. I think this is intentional: they don’t want to deal with the taxpayers. They exist solely to collect lucre for the government!

Absolutely awful service. I am a United Kingdom resident who is owed a refund by the IRS for tax paid on stock. Over 3 years there have been multiple letters exchanged (I tried calling but couldn't get through, or on another occasion they would not speak to me without a USA social security number - I'm a UK tax payer so don't have one!!). The letters they sent have been meaningless and have not answered the questions or addressed the information I sent to them. I will not give up as I am owed money, and will publicise this more if I don't get resolution very soon
