Excellent customer service.

Zeeshan has helped immensely in this confusing and ever changing market with our energy contracts and we can't thank him enough for his persistence and patience.

Having used IUA for a year now i can honestly say that Donna is a miracle worker who takes all the stress and timewasting out of dealing with utilities' companies. I simply give her a call or drop her an email and everything is sorted, quicky and efficiently giving me precious time to focus on other priorities. No more endless hold music and going round in circles, one call to Donna and everything is sorted.

Dealing with Ben as our account manager has been a great help. We are a Primary School based in the North West.

Their advice and approach will save the school several thousands with energy costs and a safeguarding product, and their assistance recouping VAT and CCL charges is a massive help too.

Initial contact was made by a cold call (yes, we all hate them), but I would seriously consider listening to what Ben etc. have to say as it has highlighted some serious shortcomings with a different broker.

Extremely pushy people who call constantly even though you say you are busy! Called a few weeks later, I explained they had already spoken to us and sent an email but they denied it! Puts us off massively dealing with this company and we are NOT interested in talking to them again.

Avoid at all costs, rude and aggressive cold calling upsetting staff.

The advice received has saved us money on our new electricity contract. We have already locked in a new deal for 2028 which promises to save even more money in the future. Everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand.

I want to express my experience with Independent Utility advice as being extraordinary positive.
For the last 8 years I’ve been approached by many company’s promising support and results and never reach no ware. For the 1st time I’m so grateful that a genuine company and specially Donna Foster cross our path. I recommend this company to everyone, they really work behind the scene to sort out, in your behalf issues that seems impossible to reach the suppliers.
Give them a chance trust them, I was apprehensive at the beginning because of previous experiences, but that was passed, they are very good.

We have used IU Advise to set up all our energy contracts and its been a seamless transfer and good unit rates

Donna from your company keeps calling, will not put into writing for us and keeps advising we are out of legislation and it's really serious etc. If it was serious, surely it would need to be in writing. Essentially scaremongering us into working with them. We are very much in line with legislation and we have a broker who ensures this. She is rude and condescending and lies about us requesting call backs. Says I clearly don't understand the severity of this and insinuates I am not doing my job properly. We have asked multiple times to not be contacted and that we are not interested but she is relentless. Having read all these other 1 star reviews it's clear they are just cold callers.

The salesman was extremely pushy and urged us to sign up to a very long contract. Once signed up they really aren't interested in helping.
Originally signed the contract back in 2022 but recently have requested that they disclose the commission being paid to IUA. This has been requested numerous times but to no avail.
Their reluctance to disclose the commission being paid must be indicative that they have something to hide.
Think long and hard before signing up with these people.

Edit : After many emails I finally heard back from them about the commission being paid.
It is an outrageous £0.07/kWh especially for a user of our size - we use approx 100MWh per annum.

Constant feedback from representatives. We ended up with what feels like a very good deal considering the circumstances and current climate. We were kept informed and the deals offered throughout the process were explained in detail as they searched for the best deals available. We didn't have to do anything other than agree the deal on offer, and the sign up process was very simple.

Repeated cold calls from a 'Donna' who is not only extremely loud on the phone, but very skilled at lying (pretending she has a meeting with the accounts manager), intimidating (pretending to be important) and relentless (multiple phone calls a week). I would call aggressive to a degree, especially when there is any amount of pushback.

I understand we're all just trying to make a living and this is the job she's fallen into, but it's excessive and straight up harassment at this point. Sales is rough, I get it.

At last have found a company that puts customer utility needs first. Both Ben and Anthony have resolved many issues in regard to utility suppliers, and their help in this area has been invaluable. No hesitation needed in using them again going forward.

I was a little apprehensive at first but Ben Wilkinson and Shannon Nixon made everything very easy claiming back £2,000 from British Gas and locking the company into a great deal moving forward on a lower rate than before.
Give them a try, you won't regret it.
