Lot's of people in this company and the feedback is good. Call backs, follow-ups answers to questions are responded in a timely fashion. The staff is great friendly and outgoing and always thank you for calling I-Universe. Some departments are hard to reach and waiting time is too long on the phone.

I have published 41 one books in the past 20 years. Each book took one week, seven days from start to finish and I was informed at each step. The last book took over a month and I had no idea what was happening with the book.

You changed “klick” (referring to kilometers) in my sci fi book, to “click”. You showed no interest in my book or the will to understand any of it, instead you tried to cater to ego. You kept referring to the “development editing” that you did on my book - you did not do any development editing. You aggressively advertised other of your services. You pressured me to complete before Christmas. You did not offer any book cover that included anything sci fi related - which was something I paid you for (you merely used the proposal cover I made myself).

iuniverse finished reviewing and editing my book, “48 Prophecies of God about His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ” within a couple months, and then had 24 copies ( at a ver reasonable cost) to send to me to promote to others. Easy Company and people with whom to work and promote your book.

My experience with Iunivers is great. They published my two book, the are very helpful, resourceful and professional.

I especially liked receiving free electronic copies of the book for my friends and family to redeem, for the photos show to the best advantage in that format.

I found the early parts of the process to be slower this time than ever before. [This is my ninth book with iUniverse.] Don't know just what the problem was.

IUniverse provided a professional product in a timely manner. My only concern is that having paid for the book, IUniverse claims a big percentage on off each book ordered. I think there should be a bigger author discount.

Bad customer service, but if you do any business with them you will never stop getting calls. In 2001, we published a book with them and they did a horrible job. But for the next 22 years (and ongoing) they continue to call weekly. Asking to be taken off the list does no good.

The author of the book (our editorial director) died in 2019. They continue to call and ask for him. When I explained that he has died, they try to sell me on memorial editions of his book. I tell them to leave me alone, but they don't, and they are relentless. Stay away from these people.

Stay away, I feel that at this moment, they're just a scam.

I prepaid for a book package - and things changed in my life. Over ten years later iUniverse was here and ready to put my book on the market - as is. And for that I am grateful. iUniverse allowed having my book published - with visible mistakes to be published - simply because I could not afford the $3000.000 to $10,000.00 to editing and marketing iUniverse charges for their services. This company is friendly enough, and you certainly get a chance to meet a lot of the salesmen and women work for iUniverse. I was surprised to discover you rarely talk to the same person twice with company. You do not get a chance to develop a friendship with anyone, but everyone is friendly in this company. They are all pleasant men and ladies, and seem to are good sales people and they encourage customers to buy other services available in iUniverse. I am satisfied with the work they did for my book.

There was loads of business neglect dealing with iUniverse it was a very frustrating and excruciating experience that I would never like to experience again in the business world.

It took two years to publish this book. (#834947). You printed the illustrations too light, even though they were submitted dark. You mixed my illustrations with my coloring pictures, making the coloring book ineffective. You did not print what I approved but changed pages after my approval. Samantha Anderson was often unavailable, and Kelly Martin had to be called to help get the publishing moving.

I have always felt confident dealing with the folks at iUniverse. They are knowledgeable, professional and very encouraging. It has been a fun journey throughout the six times that I have published with them. I am always thrilled to see the end results.

My name is Larry Matthews and in 2010, I published my first book with Iuniverse entitled "The power of the Gift." The cost was very expensive, however it got through editorial evaluation and I consented to have it published. Afterwards, entered into a contract with them to publish a 2nd edition. This publication was a horror show! Iuniverse did everything they could to try to get me to purchase more of their products and when I didn't they published the 2nd edition anyway ERRORS and All! Horrible company. They steal my royalties. Don't buy my books and Please Don't Publish with this company. They're BAD NEWS!

No responses by text or phone. Errors in index; ignored instructions. No reviews so far that I paid for.

They did an excellent job with the book cover- but communication had been very poor.

No timeline provided for marketing packages and my expectation was that it would be in work as soon as I paid. 4 months later there is no information, no marketing materials and no one will take my calls or respond by email
