The products are as advertised and the quality is excellent. Very good at notifying you when an out-of-stock item is back in stock. With everything increasing, the prices are "reasonable". However, being on a fixed income, I would love to see a senior citizen discount. Travel and restaurants have become expensive. Fishing is my last affordable refuge, and controlling costs enables me to continue participating. Have a successful 2026.

I emailed J&H right after getting my confirmation of the order to change the ship to address since I won't be home to receive the packages. Never got an email back and packages were sent to the address I didn't want. I guess ultimately I should've put the correct address but would have been nice to at least get an email that they tried to change it.

This is not my first time ordering from j&h, but it is my first time leaving a review. I have a teenage son that loves fishing and through the years he’s improved his skills which means he needed better equipment.j&h does not disappoint. This time I knew exactly what I needed and I was able to find it when a lot of other websites were out of it. The last few times I ordered from them. I actually called/emailed them to ask a few questions before I place my order and they were very helpful. I placed my order for a last-minute Christmas present Thursday night, it was shipped the next day and arrive Saturday morning. I highly recommend buying your fishing needs here. They have. Great selection, will answer questions, and it arrives quickly. Happy holidays ! Kristy

I placed an order for 9ft pole one piece. I received confirmation once order was placed and expected to get the delivery date. Less than 24hrs I received an email that the 9ft one piece pole could not be shipped. My options were to pick it up( which is not an option for me), order a 2 piece pole and pay an additional $150 or get a refund. I chose to get a refund. This information of not being able to ship should be included when placing an order. This is very disappointing and frustrating.
