Great gym with a really supportive atmosphere. My PT Kirsty is fantastic motivating, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping you progress. Sessions are challenging but enjoyable. Really enjoy the classes too, when I get chance to go.

Jd team very encouraging and enthusiastic in all classes. Also helpful. Only moan is the cleanliness of the male changing and sauna. Maybe better ventilation required

JD Blackburn provides excellent service, and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. In particular, Moh and Ebony went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed.

JDGYMS is a really good gym with a solid setup and a great atmosphere. A special mention to personal fitness instructor Mo Jassat.. he’s been brilliant. Even outside of personal training sessions, he’s extremely helpful, always happy to give advice, correct form, or answer questions. You can tell he genuinely cares about people progressing, not just during paid sessions. Highly recommend both the gym and Mo if you’re looking for proper support and motivation.

Of the many gyms I have been a member of, JD Blackburn certainly stands out on its own. The overall friendly atmosphere is such a welcome. The manager, Angie, does an outstanding job, but is also friendly, approachable and involved. Besides the general gym floor basics, I particularly like the well organised group class workout timetable, giving access to an abundance of variety all day. The JD Burn class speaks for itself, unless you do Symeon Edgerleys class, where you get extra enthusiasm and energy, and enjoyment ,just what you need. There are also independant instructors who bring there own style, a special mention to Katie Sedgwick-Dixon, whose classe are fun, funky and a fantasic workout. And then, theres Joey, who, if you like to challenge yourself to the limit; well thats where you go! The gym itself is in a great location, and an added bonus of ample free parking. Highly recommend this gym. 5 ***** deffo.

The gym is clean and the equipment is good and covers all the aspects of working out! You can work out without feeling conscious, it is a relaxed environment, even when it is full!
The staff are friendly and approachable and always happy to help.

I have been coming to JD Blackburn for two years now and cannot fault it. The staff are always willing to help and I’ve always found them to be really friendly and welcoming. The classes are run with enthusiasm and there is a good variety to meet all needs. A big shout out to personal trainer, Symeon Edgerley who as well as being a genuinely great guy, he’s been so patient with introducing me to the gym and weights. I would definitely recommend him if anyone is looking for PT sessions

I’ve been at JD for a few years training on my own, in January this year I decided to start PTs with Ellie and it was the best thing I could have done! Can’t recommend Ellie enough, she is super supportive, her plans got me to where I wanted to be and is the loveliest girl! Looking forward to see what the next year brings with her PT sessions.

Been coming to the gym since it opened and have weekly PTs with Ellie. She has created a plan for me to follow and has helped me get the results I wanted! I would highly recommend her!

Great gym it’s clean and friendly with lots of parking. I was really nervous about having a PT for the first time but Sam put me at ease and we came up with a plan together that I was comfortable with and she’s so encouraging! Give it a go and you won’t regret it!

The most amazing gym ✅ great facilities and staff always wanting to help. My PT Ebony is amazing and pushes me every session I’ve already learnt so much! Can’t wait to see more progress

It’s an incredible gym the staff are brilliant and friendly kind, thoughtful. Including my 3 personal trainers Chris, Ellie and Ebony couldn’t ask for a finer group of people to train with. My confidence has grown massively
