It's ok overall. Better than my local Gym group gym. If you go in early it's fairly quiet, especially on weekends. Some of the cable machines need a bit of tlc but other than that it's a nice space. G... Toon meer

I’m sad to write this review
I’m sad to write this review. I’ve been a member since JD gyms Huddersfield opened and am still a member however that will change soon due to the following reasons:-
Dirty smelly toilets.
It’s a lottery if there is any toilet paper in the dispensers
Very worn pads on some machines
Sometimes no soap in the dispensers so I keep some hand sanitizer in my bag.
Today I wanted to use the toilet in privacy and the locks have been taken off or if they are broken they haven’t been replaced.
The sauna gets turned off late morning for an hour.
I used to love this gym but it has seriously gone down hill with different management. May have to give big box gym a go.

Nice atmosphe
Nice atmosphe, not judgey or pretentious. First time ever at a gym and I have felt comfortable to go on my own. It would be nice if there were more staff available to find and ask for help on certain things. I have found myself just not using some machines as I don’t know how to use them correctly. Overall happy with the experience so far. Would recommend

Unable to use the gym
I went out to the car to get something, and the damm QR machine wouldn't let me in. I cycled through 8 QR codes, and I got tired of messing around, and just tailgated someone in. If this is how you treat new customers, then I will be cancelling my membership

Been to the Huddersfield branch and it…
Been to the Huddersfield branch and it never changes .
Toliets still stink ,
Showers stink due to drains from toilets run under ,
No soap in sinks .
Matt area just wiped my sweet and it was filthy ,
Never seen any one clean ,
And the coloured weights are mucky brown and never cleaned once ,
Out of 15 running machines 6 were broken ,

It's more about the people who go to…
It's more about the people who go to your gym .I have to go between 11pm hours and 1am so I am able to do my workout in peace and not having people look down on me it's not right to feel like this as I only have 2 fingers on my left hand

App needs updating
Would be more helpful if you could book your classes on the app. It would also be nice to be able to know how busy the gym is .

Great friendly staff and good equipment
Great friendly staff and good equipment. Price is super competitive for the service you get.
Showers could be more powerful and should be able to regulate temperate and time on.

Alright, not much staff presence
Lots of different machines available. Some of the machines need to be updated. No natural light, gym is often busy with lots of bright light and music so can be a sensory overload at times. Sauna is a good. Dumbbell collection needs upgrading.
