My friend and I visited the Jewells Lakeside shop 2 weeks ago and had such a lovely experience! Despite popping into the shop late, just before close, we were able to look round for almost an hour and found so many beautiful pieces of jewellery. Gabriella served us and she was absolutely lovely! So helpful and so kind too.

I ordered four items online, only two arrived.

Customer service responded quickly via email for a refund / replacement of the relevant items.

The jewellery is nice and seems to be good quality, however with this being my first ever order, and 50% of the order not being sent, I most likely wouldn’t order from them again.

Went into Jewells store Eldon Square Newcastle and was looking for a new piece of nose jewellery.
Very friendly helpful staff. Chose an item, had it fitted and left very happy. Unfortunately it fell out, so I went back the next morning and Jasmine (asst manager) was a complete star. She immediately took me thru' to the piercing area and replaced the jewellery and made sure we heard it "click". She's an absolute asset to the Company. Thanku Jasmine

The first ring I bought was fine. Then I purchased a new one around Christmas 2025, the gold came off despite me being careful. I have chased this twice over the period of a few months and received no response, which I find to be unprofessional. I also visited in store who told me to email customer services, given that in store cannot help, I would expect customer services to be better.

Booked an ear piercing appointment for 11 May through the company’s website. The booking system showed several available times, so I selected 9:15pm and entered my card details, assuming this was within their opening hours.

When I arrived, I was told that Lakeside shopping centre closes at 9:15pm, meaning the appointment could not go ahead. I do not understand why the system allowed customers to book and pay for appointments at a time when the store was effectively closed.

Very disappointed with the poor booking system and the inconvenience caused. I would expect not to be charged for an appointment that the company was unable to honour.

I shopped at this company in the reading store, I loved the designs of their piercing jewellery and therefore purchased a titanium flatback. I considered buying their solid gold range however am now grateful I did not. When getting home I realised that the earring did not screw all the way in. I was really disappointed as i do not live in Reading and therefore it cost me money and time to go back to return the faulty product. I called up the store as i was hoping for a replacement and as they have a piercer in store i was hoping the piercer could put in the new piece of jewellery. The sales assistant i spoke to told me not to come in on Sunday as the piercer working was apparently 'not experienced enough' to change my earring. If she is not experienced enough to put an earring in my already pierced hole, surely she should not be actively piercing other people. Sunday was unfortunately the only day i was able to come in. The piercer was lovely, had only been piercing for two months, but when i asked her about exchanging the jewellery she pulled out the other products to replace my faulty one and they all had the same flaw (they did not screw on all the way). This was also the same for some of the solid gold ones. I was shocked that they are allowed to sell faulty products without quality checks as the piercer also mentioned that other customers have lost earrings as they have come loose, likely from it not screwing on all the way. Luckily, the lovely piercer issued me a full refund as i did not wish to switch one faulty piece of jewellery for another. Also to note the piercer was running the store by herself that day, with no one else on the shop floor and therefore had to cancel piercing appointments that day as well as fully closing the store if she needed to have lunch or go to the toilet. Surely that is not legal? Overall i would advice anyone NOT to buy any of the piercing jewellery from this store/brand as it will waste your time and money. Please save yourselves the hassle and buy from a more reputable brand. Or at least if you do check in the store before you leave that it screws as you don't want to be caught out like me.
