From the first phone call, they talked through everything with me that I asked. Suggested things I didn't know about and informed me of the benefits of said product. Never pushy on the sale, just answered my questions as I asked. New there stuff.

Installing solar with JM Energy is honestly the best decision we’ve made since buying our house.

We were initially skeptical that solar would even work for us. We live in an old farmhouse surrounded by trees, with multiple chimneys, dormers, and skylights—far from an ideal roof layout. We assumed shade and limited roof space would make solar inefficient or not worthwhile. But the JM Energy team took the time to carefully assess our home and design a system specifically for our conditions. They installed panels optimized for lower-light and partially shaded areas, which made a huge difference.

Despite having a relatively small system—just 8 panels and a SolaX 5kW battery—we now produce enough energy to be completely energy independent for about half the year. On sunny days, we often generate more than we need and can sell excess energy back to the grid. During the winter, the battery allows us to buy cheaper electricity at night and use it during the day, which further reduces our costs.

The battery has also been a game changer during storms. Living in a rural area, we sometimes lose power for days at a time. Now we can keep the essentials running and avoid the disruption and stress that used to come with outages.

Even with our modest system size, we estimate we’re saving over €1,000 per year on energy bills. Beyond the financial savings, there’s also a real sense of satisfaction in knowing we’re reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and making our home more resilient and sustainable.

The JM Energy team were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and professional from start to finish. They didn’t try to oversell us—they designed the right system for our home and made the entire process straightforward and stress-free.

JM Energy installed our system just over a year ago in Nov 24. We had over 12 other companies call to our house to view the job and after about 4months research into various different products we went with JM Energy. They were the only company who were very clear about the number panels we could fit on our roof and stay within the grants rules (we have 4 rooflights and solar tubes for hot water fitted already). Their advice was sound, turned up on time and had no problems when I added four extra panels to the system. Roofers and electricians were really good, and tidy. Commissioning was very good. The system was Solax IES 9.79kw with 10kw batteries. And its been brilliant and saved us alot over a year. I do not have electricity bills anymore. The system has worked just as they explained when they called at the start. Anytime that I needed customer support, it been really good and same day. I would highly recommend them.

A professional and friendly company to deal with Sales rep , Rachael and Lucy in the office were very helpful . Installation date was as agreed with no delays and the roofing and electrical teams completed the installation with very little disruption to house and electrician explained and set up the solar app on my phone . I would gladly recommend this company

From the outset we had a very positive experience with the company through its reps. Once signed up the admin process was speedy. Once the installation date was agreed delivery of materials, installation of same and connection was achieved with little fuss or household disruption in a total of 8 hrs over three days by three teams.

Everyone we dealt with in this company from sales, warehouse, administration, delivery, roofing, electrical, finance, BER and aftersales were so knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone arrived at notified times!! The installation teams completed an excellent job and left house and site tidy. System tripped once after 2 months (ESB grid spike) and Goodwe and after sales had it sorted within an hour of us sending mail to aftersales ! Our home is now A2 BER rated. Sales also took time to give us tips on maximising solar use which has helped us to currently achieve over 85% solar with our 16 south panels and 5kw battery. We are delighted our investment and highly recommend JM Energy Savings!

I contacted John in relation to pricing Solar Panels, a hot water Eddi and a battery. The best phone call I ever made. Excellent service from start to finish from John & Rachel and all staff. Fantastic company to deal with from start to finish.
From 1st contact with John in late December to the installation and commissioning of the panels took less than 1 month. Rachel in the office was really helpful with any questions I had about filling out the small amount of paperwork involved and all the lads working on the house were tidy and genuinely nice people. I highly recommend this company.

I found JM Energy excellent to deal with. The lads who installed the Panels and the Electricians did a first class job. They Left the place so tidy after them, wouldn't even know they had been working here.
I would very gladly recommend you to anyone considering having Solar installed.
