Lots of shops have schemes where they hit you up for a small charitable donation at the checkout, and then claim credit for raising those contributions. Nobody likes this.

Jollye's version is worse - they hit you up to buy a tin of dog food for then to donate to charity, and they thus take a profit on each tin that people are guilted into paying for.

I pointed this out to the cashier, and the other cashier interjected rudely to say "You can just say no, you don't have to comment"

Well, I don't have to shop there either. We have 5 pets and used to spend over £1000 a year in Jollye's, but their competitors' staff are more polite

This isn't the first time I've noticed as I don't like to complain but each time I've been there ive struggled with large packs of pet food etc to get to the till and not once has the staff member offered to help, or offered a hand to the car like the other well known store does, plus I have noticed no interaction " please " " thank you " "Goodbye " etc they are usually involved in their own conversations which I think is a bit rude

I would have said 5 star but last Saturday I bought raw meat for my dogs but apparently they had problems with freezers but my dogs are not eating it as it’s not of the same quality they normally eat it straight off but the staff are fantastic and helpful hopefully the problem is solved

Was served by a lovey member of staff called Alice whom had given me advice on my dogs allergies i was served at the checkout by a member of staff called josie who had greeted me politeness also i must include the other checkout member of staff called shay due to the fact there where 3 members of staff in the shop who were all willing to listen with courtesy well done to all members of staff at jollyes Fforestfach swansea on good customer service

Recommend shopping here and I’m not sure of their names but the two ladies who are always there and remember my dog even when he’s not with me are fabulous and I hope they get the credit they deserve

Don’t ever call the Enfield branch to confirm an appointment. I spoke to the rudest manager I have ever experienced. The online booking system to book an appointment for the community vet is dire. There are always technical difficulties and the system doesn’t work properly. So being a customer I thought I would call to see if my appointment was possible, given that there was plenty of appointments available for the day. The manager abruptly shut me down by telling me it was my fault that my computer didn’t work and that I couldn’t come in and wouldn’t even check for availability, even though I had seen there was. She went on to say you’ll have to try again, my computer works fine! No customer service and assisting a returning customer, basically told to shut up and go away before she hung up on me, when I asked to speak to the manager and she said I am the manager. I replied can I take your name? No I don’t give out my name was her response. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Super helpful staff, affordable prices, and the largest selection of live bugs out of any pet store I've been in. Everything is easy to find, I never have to look for what I'm needing as I know exactly where it is.

Friendly and efficient staff, very polite, and will carry heavy items for the customers to the car ,no problems, overall a very nice shopping experience.

I love this store, it's open til 8 which is perfect for someone who works all day, a wide range of products, I particularly like the "fill your own" buckets for my birds, friendly staff, you can bring your pets in and the loyalty program gives genuine discounts.

Management was poor its very much if your face fits or personality clicks and not about skill or knowledge or experience watching it fail after leaving speaks worlds I built a department on knowledge with no support from the store managers and constant criticism from managers with 0 experience in the field in the department i was building and becoming successful beside that until i chose to leave for the above reasons and now that department is closed 13 month later jollys should be supporting and growing from experienced people that worked hard in the animal care industry to gain experience knowledge and qualifications in those areas not from a manager that ran a home bargains department with 0 animal care qualifications
