Great staff ,plesant atmosphere

Very polite in store and always ask if you would to donate to a local shelter with cans of food for either dog or cat.

I walked in with my small elderly dog and immediately asked for assistance with fitting a harness. He had never had one before and only needed one because his traditional collar wasn't helping with neck pain.

I was assigned an assistant straight away. It took quite some time for find one that fitted correctly. In the meantime Harry had been distracted by the dog treats on the next stall, the soft Christmas Santa toys on sale in another aisle and had "fallen in love" with a lady dog. The assistant took it all in her stride.

When I went to pay I discovered the harness was half price. To say I am delighted and impressed with Jollyes is an understatement. Harry and I can fully recommend this pet store.

Used to go to Jolly’s pet shop a lot I’ve noticed how expensive they are really getting especially the bones the treats I was in there yesterday and I couldn’t believe they are literally double the price of their bones. Don’t think I’ll be going back anymore ! That was Chichester portfield

Have had years of issues with my Cockqpoos . One kicked her paws constantly and her daughter always had bad ears . After a couple of visits to the vets I popped into the Hartlepool store and the very kind Jo listened to my problems and showed me exactly which food to try . Total game changer ! And not expensive brand that the vets advice . Thanks so much Jo

Visited Jollyes today at Monks Cross in York to seek advice from a vet. I am in York on holiday and my 5 month old puppy has blood in her runny stools. The 'vet', who isnt the usual one i was told, was rude, uncaring and completely dismissive and unprofessional. He simply told me to see my own vet despite me explaining i was on holiday and unable to do that.
Not good enough Mr!
The female member of staff i dealt with was the total opposite, caring and helpful.

The smell of dog treats was atrocious, the cat section is tiny compared to the dog section which is majority of the shop.

I also got my kitten chipped here, which was a nightmare. There was no door or curtain for my kitten to feel safe from the dogs walking around the shop, clearly fixated on him. He almost done a runner through the shop with 3 big dogs walking nearby, one being an XL bully, until the owners pulled them away. I got very lucky but it could have ended a lot worse.

I love Jollys and I frequent buy dog food from this shop. I will continue whilentheybsellnthe brands I like at a good price. I also like the pet club.

Been a good customer for years but have received terrible service recently. I had a failed delivery when the courier went to the wrong delivery place. However, Jollyes attitude was unhelpful and at no point did I receive an apology. A follow up email 2 weeks later when I was still waiting for a response was ignored.

Really slow checkout! Poor staff left alone on till with long queue, she was doing her best to help multiple customers at the same time by herself. When I finally got to the till I asked if she was working alone and she told me management had been upstairs for the past hour! Staff member was clearly quite distressed but was still very apologetic even though it was no fault of hers. Should have more staff on till or at least another member around instead of one person working alone. It is completely unfair on both staff and customers to leave a single employee to handle a busy store alone while management avoids the shop floor, very disappointing.

I booked my 2 dogs in for their boosters and wanted to book in for a friend too as she has one of the puppies almost 3 years old soon and it is chance for a catch up for us as well as the dogs .
My friends phone was ooo and so she calls round to do the booking. Lo and behold a man tells her they all have to be done on line. I did it with a lovely person called Donna and she did it with a smile.
When will busnices realise some people have phones for their own convenience and not so that companies can do cut backs.
So anyway Donna has booked Maisey in too and what a treasure she is for your company.
Good mannered and obliging.

Would have given more stars if it was possible. Our daughter's very elderly Bulgarian rescue recently became very ill. We took her to our vet who prescribed three different types of tablets for her but unfortunately, although she was very ill, she was very, very reluctant to take the tablets. We called at our local branch of Jollyes in Congleton, mentioned our problem and a very helpful, knowledgeable young lady named Jessica immediately came to our assistance. She showed us some products which she was sure would help, they are helping and the dog is very slowly recovering. We cannot thank her enough for all her help and would suggest that she should have at least a pay rise and even a promotion!

Great friendly and knowledge service every time, all the staff are lovely. They always ask about my pup and love her to visit offering fuss and treats. Prices are affordable and items well stocked amd easy to find. Never had an issue. I also got my pup vaccinated and microchipped which is far less stressful than the vets and she got to meets other pups. The Jollyes app is really good too offering money off when spending with them and a record of my pups appointments and details. I much prefer visiting them to other well known stores.

Cancelled my order 2 days after I purchased. Didn’t explain why and stated I would receive a refund between 3 and 10 days! But they were quick enough to take my money.
Won’t be purchasing from this business again.
