Great harness for our large lab
Great harness for our large lab. Just orders the summer one for the first time. Like the little cards it came with to identify him.

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad to hear the harness is working great for your big Lab. 🐶💪 And we love that you enjoyed the little ID cards too — just a small way to add extra peace of mind (and personality!) to your pup's gear. We hope you love the summer harness just as much! ☀️💛
My Dog’s favorite harness!!!
We have tried many different types of harnesses and we love the Joyride Harness the most! When I asked around for the best harness for my breed of dog, so many people said to try the Joyride Harness and we love it! Thank you, Joyride Harness, for making such an amazing product.

Thank you so much for the love! 🐾 We’re thrilled to hear the Joyride Harness has earned the title of your pup’s favorite—what an honor! It means the world to us that fellow dog parents are recommending us and that our harness is making walk time easier (and cuter!) for you both. Give your pup some extra scritches from us! 💛

Harness too heavy for my chihuahua
I am giving a 5 star review because I have ordered 3 harnesses over the years for my 3 med to large dogs. and I love that they are well made and easy to put on and take off. So naturally when we adopted a chihuahua my first though was to order one for her as well. But the small size is so heavy duty and bulky that it doesn't work for her, actually I think the smaller dogs don't benefit from this heavy and bulky harness like larger dogs do. If there is a lightweight one for small dogs, I would totally order it.

Thank you so much for your continued support—we’re honored to be your go-to for your medium and large pups! 🐾 We're so glad to hear the harnesses have served you well over the years.
And thank you for the honest feedback about your chihuahua's experience. You're absolutely right—our original design was built tough with larger dogs in mind, and we know the smaller pups need something a bit lighter. You’ll be happy to hear we’re actively working on a more lightweight version for our tiniest harness-wearers. 💛
We’ll be sure to keep our community posted when it’s ready!
Pretty but didn't do the job.
The harness arrived as promised. It is attractive and fairly easy to get on the dog. I have been using it for about a month (75 lb golden retriever) and sorry to say that it has not changed his pulling at all. We walk 2 miles every day. I have tried tightening it, loosening it, switching attachment points and always reward him if he doesn't pull but there has not be any change in his behavior. I have quite an investment in harnesses and have gone to dog-obedience school with my dog but he is a puller. (Would make a good sled dog.)

Hi there,
Thank you so much for your honest review and for giving the JoyRide Harness a try. We’re glad to hear it arrived on time and that you found it attractive and easy to use—that means a lot to us!
We totally understand your frustration. It’s clear you’ve put in a lot of time and effort into training and finding the right gear for your pup, and we admire your dedication. Some dogs, especially strong, determined pullers like your golden, really do put everything to the test.
While we’re sorry to hear the harness didn’t provide the results you were hoping for, we appreciate you giving it a fair shot over the past month. If anything changes down the line, we’re always here.
Thanks again for sharing your experience and for being such a committed dog parent. 🐾

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback—we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
I’m so sorry for the confusion and frustration regarding the tags. When you placed your order, the pre-printed tags were not yet included with all of our 2.0 harnesses, as they were a recent addition to our newer models. At the time, we offered downloadable versions that could be printed at home, but we absolutely understand that’s not a convenient option for everyone.
That said, we’re more than happy to send you a set of printed tags directly—no extra effort needed on your end. Thank you for giving our product a try—we appreciate you.
Wonderful sturdy good fitting harness
Harness arrived on time and was even better than our older ones. Easy to adjust for fit on our two pugs. Love the reflective components as we sometimes walk them in low light.

Awesome harnesses
I am totally happy with the harnesses that I ordered for my Yorkie and Pomeranian. I got matching ones and they are not only sturdy and versatile, but very stylish. The size guidelines were extremely helpful and the prices are excellent. Would definitely order again in the future.

I purchased the luminating harness
I purchased the luminating harness. The colors are nice and bright. But each time we’ve walked our dog, the top grip handle has turned off the lights on the harness. The handle seems to want to lay on the button which turns it off. I paid extra money to have it laminate while we walk at night.

Trauma-free Harness for previously traumatized dogs
I have tried many harnesses looking for one that my previously traumatized dogs consider a non-issue. Joyride Harness is it for riding in the car.
Both dogs get excited for "bye-bye" now, and actually come to me anticipating their harnesses. Once I found the correct size for the chest velcro, I just always leave it fastened, and only need to click shut/release the buckle from around behind their front legs. No struggling, very streamlined. Super smooth and easy slipping on/off over their head.
So far though, I only use them in the car attached to doggie-seatbelts (also purchased thru Joyride.)
I had an issue once when, out in the yard, the (55 Lbs) smaller more playful one had pulled apart the harness velcro on the (70 Lbs) larger dog. And once, hooked up to the seatbelt in the backseat, the larger dog had, rubbed off? the harness, still hooked up to the seatbelt -- but that was early in our "bye-bye" training when she was overly anxious in general. And, unlike with other previous harnesses, the smaller dog has never chewed through/off the Joyride.
Lightweight, cool mesh, and quick acceptance, the dogs like them. My one complaint for me is the buckle is challenging to unhook for my elderly hands.

Wow, what an incredible journey for your pups! 🐶💜 It’s amazing to hear that the Joyride Harness has helped make “bye-bye” time a positive, trauma-free experience for them. It sounds like they’ve really embraced their harnesses, which is so heartwarming!
It’s great that you found a streamlined way to put them on and take them off, especially with previously anxious dogs. I appreciate the feedback on the buckle—ease of use is super important, especially for those with elderly hands. I’ll make sure this is noted for potential improvements.
Thanks for sharing your detailed experience, and I hope your pups continue to enjoy their adventures! 🚗🐾✨

Second Joyride harness, still great product
This is our second joyride harness. The first lasted for many years, was great. Just when we were thinking about replacing it because it was looking pretty grungy, the clip broke. We had lots of good years and we're happy to purchase a new one. The harness is great, just like the first one. The fit, quality, construction, leash brackets... All great. The only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is the strap that goes under the dog is much thinner, and the clip is small and difficult to release to remove. I recommend bringing the larger clips back, much easier to use and release. Even with that, it's a great product and we are pleased with it.

We appreciate your comments about the thinner strap and smaller clip. Your suggestion to bring back the larger clips for easier use is valuable, and we’ll pass it along to our design team for consideration. Feedback like yours helps us improve and continue creating products that work for both you and your pup!
