This company does an excellent job of cutting the grass on our estate every 3-4 weeks if not too cold or raining for just £150,000 per year. When it's raining they remain in the comfort of their van with the engine running possibly to stay warm and chargee their mobiles. They don't seem to come in winter to do anything as it might be too cold.
They work hard around 3 days per week when they are here and long hours of 3-4 hours peer day. Of course all that grass cutting means the 2 man crew need to take 2-3 hour lunch breaks.

We also have caretakers who also have to do grounds maintenance such as sweeping up grass cuttings left behind by Just Ask, pulling/strimming weeds, collecting fallen leaves in autumn, picking litter from bushes & green areas. Things we pay Just Ask to.

I would like to know what Just Ask's secret is to get a £150k grounds maintenance contract and get away with just cutting grass 12-14 times per year, badly.

I wonder why Nottinghill Genesis Housing Association (NHG) is letting this fraud company get away with residents' hard hand money. The company is fraud, the cleaners are fraud and shame on them both. The cleaners will come on a regular basis and sign the register to say they have cleaned the building only for them to leave immediately after they have signed.
On Friday 18th Jan around 10am they signed the list that they came in at 12:10 and left at 1:30 pm, I called the office at 11am to report their fraud, no photographs was sent by then, called again by 3:30 that time the fraudsters has sent a falsified photo of cleaning they done with is absolutely not true.
This all happened is SW london.

Worst cleaning company ever. Cleaners who doesn't do their job properly. Spending thei time at work on the phone . Doesn't use appropriate cleaning products.

The "cleaners" I use that word sparingly, just about manage to hoover. Despite requests to the landlord NHG, they never wash the steps, wipe skirts or windows. You actually can never tell they have been as there is not a single cleaning product used other than the hoover!

They then have the cheek to say its taken them 30 minutes and charge for the privilege, honestly it takes them not even 2 minutes and that includes them taking a photo of their work. It may feel trivial, but I take pride where I live, and I along with other residents pay for this poor service. Think maybe it's time to claim back the payments 🤬

Disgusting driver I have just seen one of their driver mount a pathway we're children are walking to school and drive down it just to get passed the sake of 2-3 cars and by the other 1 star reviews this company just don't care what so ever the reg plate of the vehicle is RO23 FSP so be aware!!!!!

I Would just like to say I was watching Alex’s and his colleague work so hard and done a fantastic job cleaning all the moss from the estate well done guys you both do a great job on every visit

If I could give a zero I would. If you're thinking of working for this company I wouldn't bother, they mess you around. Get rid of you when they feel like it. Then don't pay your wages! With no warning. Then when you try to get hold of them you can't get hold of no one!

I am a tenant with Housing for Women. Just ask is waste of money and time.
From beginning, 2020, we complain, and complain, nothing helps. Even had special meeting with local Councillor. Doors are filthy , tiles are filthy, white marble is black with mould. Only in 2023 we submitted 45 complaints. I am not sure what kind of 'spell' they have over our landlord, but give a chance after the chance, to improve, and it just gets worse. They work 10 minutes. The gardener is even better, he comes for 3 minutes job!

Despite numerous complaints by residents to Paradigm Housing bc and since, Don't Ask continues to bill Paradigm Housing and they in turn bill the residents for not cleaning. Photos and video footage have been sent to Paradigm for quite some years, nothing is being done to address the situation by either party. Some residents have been cleaning the communal areas themselves and picking up rubbish. In complaints to Paradigm Housing, myself and other residents have asked to be reimbursed for cleaning costs pre 2019 and since, and have also suggested Don't Ask pay back any monies paid to them by Paradigm Housing Association and have their contract terminated with immediate effect. This so called cleaning company are in breach of contract failing to fulfill the duties outlined on a comprehensive list left in the communal area, now conveniently missing as are Paradigm Housing who should be taken to court collectively for breach of contract and for breaching health and safety standards in regards to trip and slip hazards. It's time someone made an example of companies and bodies that operate like this as it effects the lives of hundreds of people every day. I am ashamed to have visitors as the communal areas are the dirtiest that I have ever seen that are supposedly being cleaned. It's a shame that I can't include photos in this Just Ask review and leave 0 stars, why isn't that an option?

Lazy staff spend more time walking around smoking or talking on there phone one dirty cleaner loves pissing in the car park area every time he comes lucky if the Hoover. Avoid this company one star to many. If you confront them they get angry and start swearing nasty little men. Head office don't seem to care about there poor service as long as they get there money and lie. They will carry on

Absolute distrusting service! why cant I leave a 0 !
so long story short an engineer trimming the bush outside my property nicked the gas pipe with his trimmers causing a gas leak - its ok he isolated the outside valve didn't tell anyone and went on his merry way !
I have obviously called gas engineer out when I got home from work as I have no gas! find out that the valve had been closed off "prob some kids" - gas turned back on.
2 days later (Sunday Eve) my neighbor and myself can smell gas (funny that) fire brigade and gas service called out isolated whole building (flats).
4 days later still without gas and heating lots of gas engineer visits later
I / we am waiting for Just ask services to come back out and trim back the hedge they originally messed up so the gas engineer can get to the pipes that they damaged ! Wait in all day - but apparently they have been to the property twice and completed the job twice ! No one has been to the property or contacted myself and still waiting. Perhaps specsavers might be an option for your engineers so they can see gas pipes and read a sat nav.

Appalling individual who works for them. He’s been cleaning the car park in this North Kensington area for years and blows all the leaves into my elderly relatives porch. This is a sheltered block so safeguarding is an issue. Don’t know what his problem is but I put it down to misogyny and the fact that this is the only bit of power the small appendaged twit has. He obviously hates women & more to the point…..his mother! He does either of the following: 1. doesn’t pick up the leaves by my car and relatives balcony or 2. blows the leaves so that they sit by my car and on my relatives balcony.
Will be contacting the Housing Ombudsman to have service charge reduced, as this is one of many services my elderly relative doesn’t receive!

One of the cleaner put her full Hoover bag in my bin.

My experience of working for the company was the worst i have ever witnessed. Staff are pushed and forced to action tasks that are not within health and safety regulations. Staff are forced to spray chemicals without a spraying certificate.

Staff retention is minimal and payment issues are horrendous. If you voice your opinion you are “managed out” with bogus events created by higher management. Slave driven company pretending to have family values to then shaft you with make believe events and hr meetings with Micky mouse accounts of these pretend events. Staff are not even trained in gardening, induction processes are a box ticking exercise and crb/dbs checks never carried out, yet these employees are working on sheltered/additional needs schemes.

The account director lies to the client and deletes jobs to then recycle previous images to pretend the service has been delivered. He states to staff his bonus is based on their work load so “dont f%c* it up for him”.

Times cut on sites due to limited staff hence the poor conditions of cleaning and grounds, yet full service charges across the board are charged to the client despite the lack of head count in employees. Faked head count with the “agency” staff that do not exist.

High supervisor/manager turnover due to the account directors lies and manipulation tactics. Yet is safe guarded by a fraudulent hr department who protect senior management.

Avoid this company at all costs if you want to have a safe and tidy site. Truly a pony company trying to pretend to be leaders within the social housing market.

Disgraceful behaviour and poor service in MK43. The so called gardener used aggressive and intimidating behaviour towards lady in her 70s after she simply asked he if he was going to remove the 3ft high weeds. I'd "Just Ask" the amateur company not to come back.

Only do the area at the rear of our flat's. None of our communal area's. There is grass up to 2 feet high in places. Over hanging brambles that catch you in the face and rip your clothes. Very rude if you try and talk to them. Just says report me then.

Shocking ...don't carry out the grounds maintenance they are supposed to but happy to take the service charge ... staff confrontational and rude!

Terminate your contracts would be the best thing as management only interested in money not service .

Communication with Just Ask Cleaning Company has been abysmal, to say the least. Calls regarding the subpar cleaning standards have yielded little to no response. Attempts to reach out directly to the cleaners have been met with rudeness, exacerbating an already frustrating situation.

The crux of the issue lies in the blatant neglect and lack of thoroughness exhibited by the cleaning staff. Cleaners routinely spend a mere five minutes on-site, superficially sign off on their duties, and promptly depart without addressing the actual cleaning needs of our block of flats. As a result, communal areas that once boasted cleanliness and order are now in a deplorable state, reflecting poorly on both the cleaning company and our housing association.
