Shipping was extremely fast here to the US, and the knife came impeccably wrapped and protected. Communication was excellent, as I had to make a change to the shipping address for the required signature.

Kichiji santoku cuts like a dream
I bought the house Kichiji santoku. This is a great knife. I asked for the dispatch to be held as I was travelling and they said this was fine. It was then sent as agreed and arrived quickly.
I love the out of box sharpness. It cuts like a dream and I've been using it every day. This is an exceptional product backed up with world class Japanese customer service.

Good advice again from the store for a slicer / carving knife. My forth knife and it helps to consult before making an impulsive purchase online,
I feel I have the right knife for my tastes and for our budget. Also the collection begins to work as a set.
They all sit in a nice knife block of cherry wood from the WCBC.
This was a purchase for Christmas and I’m really impressed with the cutting performance. The blade is beautiful, a little rustic and looks authentic.
I’m thinking to buy the petty version.
