We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the scones and found them close to a traditional texture, as recreating classic bakery items while keeping them low carb is always our goal.

We’re sorry to hear that the blueberry tray bake and brownies didn’t quite meet your expectations. Because our products are made without sugar and with alternative flours, the texture can sometimes differ slightly from conventional baked goods, particularly when frozen and defrosted. That said, your comments about the blueberry filling and texture are very helpful and will certainly be passed on to our kitchen team as we continually review and improve our recipes.

It’s great to hear the cookies had a good texture for you. Sweeteners can sometimes leave a slight aftertaste for certain people, but they allow us to keep the products keto-friendly and suitable for low-carb diets.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback — we’re genuinely sorry to hear that the pasta wasn’t to your taste.

Our low-carb pasta is an Italian-made product, and like many traditional Italian pastas it’s designed to be enjoyed al dente, meaning it has a firmer bite rather than a soft texture. This can feel quite different if you’re expecting conventional wheat pasta.

For a softer texture, we recommend:
• Cooking it a little longer than the packet guidance, testing as you go
• Using plenty of well-salted boiling water
• Finishing it in the sauce for a minute or two to help it absorb moisture and flavour

Many customers find that adjusting the cooking time to suit their personal preference makes a big difference to the final texture.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review and for your continued support — it genuinely means a lot to us. We’re really pleased to hear you’re enjoying the chocolate orange muffins, chocolate muffins, and the cookie brownies.

We wanted to reassure you regarding the muffin size. All of our muffins are still 100g as advertised, however we have recently changed our almond flour supplier. The new almond flour behaves slightly differently during baking and reacts differently with the baking powder, which can result in a slightly lower rise, even though the weight remains exactly the same.

Your feedback about larger muffins and mixed boxes is really appreciated and has been passed on to the team — it’s something we’re actively considering as we continue to develop the range.

We’re pleased to hear that you’ve enjoyed our breads and rolls and that you’ve ordered with us more than once — we do appreciate that support.

For clarity and transparency, we feel it’s important to provide context by referencing the original message we received from you regarding this matter:

“Ordered the mince pie tray bake with my last order and it has very unpleasant hard bits of stalk in the mince mixture. Very disappointed. Can you send me the lemon cake instead of a refund thank you.”

As explained in our correspondence, the mince pie bake is handmade in small batches using whole berry fruits, and some natural variation in texture can occur. We did not identify the issue described as a product fault, particularly as we have sold several hundred of this item this season without similar feedback.

For completeness, the order in question was dispatched 11 days before this concern was raised. In line with our terms and conditions, issues with perishable baked goods must be reported within a short timeframe after delivery so they can be investigated appropriately. This was also outlined in our response at the time.

While we understand that this product did not meet your personal expectations, our decision not to offer a refund or replacement was based on these policies and applied consistently and fairly.

We respect that tastes and preferences differ, and we’re sorry that this particular item wasn’t to your liking. We do, however, stand by the quality of our products and are glad that other items in your previous orders were enjoyed.
