Kids Discover Reviews

My kids LOVE using this program and ask every year for me to include it in our homeschool buys. I wish some Canadian content was added and the ability to delete more than one lesson at a time when removing lessons from each child.

I’m teaching Japanese kids who are interested in science. They are enjoying reading the texts on a variety of topics. Although it takes time to make a lesson plan based on the topics I chose, it provides a great learning experience for me, too.

I teach special ed high school and these are perfect for most of the reading levels in my class.

Great information to help push my child's learning at home.

I was able to assign one time. Now I can't assign anything to my classroom and I have no idea how to view submitted quizzes or create assignments. I went to the FAQ and it says there should be all these features that I don't have. I appear to have a student view instead of an educator. At this point I am wanting my money back.

Your content makes teaching and creating lesson plans really easy across age groups. It is content that is engaging and that presumes competence.

Love the added content for younger users!

The information provided on different topics is fantastic along with the exercises to help kids learn.

Loved the content and that the students could have it read to them. However, was unable to just link it to my Google Classroom. The kids had to sign up individually using my class code. A bit more time consuming.

I like web sites that are easy and understandable. This one passed with flying colors!

Thorough information that is easy to understand

As a retired teacher and current homeschool grandparent, Kidsdiscover is a great find. It is an excellent resource for articles (written in three Lexile ranges) related to science and social studies curricular standards. With the pictures and graphics, it's an engaging read for learners (and their instructors).

It was a clear way to do everything online

I love the content, I dislike that my students have to log in each time they have missed a week of being on-line. I'm using this for my 10 year-old class and they lose log-in information. Instead of them using this format at home for extra information, I now use it on my smart TV screen share and must print off any sheets I want them to use. Please do not sign off students; leave them logged in for the duration of the payment.
Thank you.

We have really enjoyed Kids Discover Online. For my oldest son who struggles with reading, the text to speech feature has been amazing. Not only does it follow the text by highlighting was has been read, but he has been curiously learning on his own due to this feature. My daughter has also been enjoying using the lessons, doing word searches etc. Great and very informative.

The video graphics are amazing and the information is detailed and interesting.

Great articles for reading various curriculum areas.

Love this site it's an incredible resource with so many layers of information. Great price point, super affordable and easy for my kids to use all on their own.

I love that Kids Discover has so many different topics for teachers to choose from and that I can put the articles directly into Google Classroom.

This is our first year homeschooling without the use of a structured curriculum. This is a great program for Science and Social Studies. I love the ability to pick and choose what we are going to study and find the information to be thorough and accurate.
