I requested a phone consultation on two separate occasions. Received and responded to all confirmation text and emails from Ben. Both times when the appointment time came I was not contacted. I tried calling the number provided on the email and no response. Unprofessional to say the least.

Sam and the entire team at Kindred Tiny Homes are professional, kind, and talented people. Sam helped me explore all the options to adding a garage with second level apartment on my property. He was educational, patient, and overall a delight to work with. I interviewed several competitors and not only was Kindred competitive on price, they were by far the most transparent. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with our choice to go with Kindred Tiny Homes. We’d checked out a few other ADU builders before, but something always seemed off—either the costs were murky, or the process as a whole seemed over complicated for someone without industry knowledge.

Right from our first chat with Kindred, it was a different vibe. They took us through every step—zoning, permits, design, construction—you name it, without overwhelming us. Plus, they were totally upfront about pricing, no hidden curveballs, which was a massive weight off our shoulders. We love transparency!

Most of all, the quality of the build was absolutely incredible. One thing I can say is they don't cut corners, and you can see they put real care into it—no shortcuts here. We went for a detached two-bedroom ADU, mostly for rental income, but it’s also turned out to be the perfect spot for family visits. My parents were just visiting from Australia and they were obsessed with having their own cozy space.

Working with Kindred was just so refreshing and such a positive customer service experience. They turned what could’ve been a nightmare into something surprisingly easy, and everyone we dealt with was super friendly, sharp, and genuinely invested in making it all come together perfectly.

If you’re thinking about an ADU, do yourself a favor and give them a call! They took all the stress out of it and made it a breeze. We’ve already passed their name along to a couple of buddies!

After a nightmare experience trying to navigate the project with another company and contractor, which nearly made us reconsider doing the project at all, we chose to build a two-bedroom ADU with Kindred Tiny Homes for family use and to generate rental income.

We can’t speak highly enough about Kindred Tiny Homes and the exceptional work they do. They handled everything from start to finish, meeting all timeline and budgetary goals while ensuring our ADU was built to the highest quality standards.

Having built a home before, we didn’t even realize this level of service existed in the construction industry. When our family comes to stay they all argue over who get to stay in the ADU!

I cannot talk highly enough of Kindred Tiny Homes. From the consult and contract development process with Sam, working with the architects to create a dream home for my mom to age in place, to the actual building of the ADU with Luke and Sundi everything has been collaborative, transparent and enjoyable. Even when our city put up some roadblocks around our sewer pipes and added in additional unexpected costs- the Kindred team was on our side doing everything they could to avoid additional costs and meet with city officials on our behalf to solve the problems. We broke ground in the middle of November of 2024, and looks like we will be completed before April 2025- record setting time to create an entire home!
