As a type one diabetic I use the dark 2 fingered Kit Kat as a remedy when I am hypoglycaemic. It has the perfect amount of carbohydrates (12) to bring my blood sugar back in to the norm range. But the new bar in the new package tastes disgusting, it has a hard, candy like, outer, tinned but similar to that found of MnMs and a extremely, sickly, sweet after taste, how they got this passed a taste panel beggars belief, they’ve lost my custom until they restore the old recipe.

I used to love dark chocolate Kitkat. No longer. Whatever the new recipie is it tastes awful.

We are dark chocolate Kit Kat fans. The kit Kat’s in the new wrapper are horrible. Like cheap chocolate instead of good quality dark chocolate. The wrappers also don’t seem to be able to be recycled .

I’ve eaten KitKat all my life but never has the biscuit disappointed so much as it does now.
The new recipe is awful
The chocolate taste is hard and leaves an after taste. Tastes terrible with tea now and the wafer is not crispy anymore.
Smaller bars no foil to break and recipe change makes this a terrible buy.

The chocolate used to actually melt. The lil bar i just ate out of my grandaughters Halloween bag will be my last. It used to be 1 of my favorites. So 😔

Used to be moreish and the wafer crisp. No longer either. The wafer is always soft. Will no longer be buying Kit Kats. My son no longer wants to eat them either and now goes to school with a penguin bar in his packed lunch instead, much nicer and cheaper!!

Just awful. I used to love kitkats, they were always my favourite by far. The chocolate used to be really creamy but now it’s just unpleasant. It tastes like coconut. Just not moreish at all. Very sad, won’t be buying them again and I’ve been eating them for the past 50 years!

After 60 years of tasting this once tasty treat, l shan’t be buying a Kit Kat again.

Had a KitKat this evening for a treat, having not eaten one for quite some years. It was just awful! I can't say how disappointed I am. I used to really love them and they were delicious. No longer. The chocolate was horrid, with an unpleasant after-taste and the biscuit base doesn't seem to be as crispy as before. And don't get me started on the fact that they look much smaller.

I'm now 60yrs old and as a confirmed chocoholic this is the first time in my life I have not finished a chocolate bar.. this tastes like cheap cooking chocolate from the 70s. Absolutely disgusting taste. I'm not obese but if I buy myself a treat I want full sugar full fat full cream or whatever... stop trying to tell us what's good for us and spend more time educating people who have no restraint on their not good for you intake!!!!

Bought a pack of kitkats after a few years break. The chocolate tastes awful now. It used to be smooth and silky but now it tastes like really cheap quality and also immediately melts on contact. If you can't bring back Rowntree then at least bring back their wonderful recipe, or shall not be buying again.

Why does it taste gross? Kit Kat never used to taste like this. I literally ate 1 piece and I had to throw it. Why does it have a strange chemical taste now and not a smooth milky chocolate like it did before?

The chocolate tastes horrible now! What have Kit Kat done? Will no longer be buying . What a shame! Awful!

Used to love these but not now - the chocolate has been changed to something quite vile.

I feel the taste and smell has changed in kitkat
It's terrible as I'd enjoy kitkat with crunch out of fridge.
I'm really missing the old kitkat
The kitkat has a strange coffee smell and not the flavour from the past few years I've really noticed about few months ago and kept trying but they have totally ruined it.

Everyone on the planet is trying to reduce their plastic waste, so why have KitKat changed the packaging from paper to plastic and added an extra layer of plastic packaging to the multibuy packets. Unacceptable. Will never buy again.

Just bought the usual 21 pack from Tesco only to find they are now miniature and without any warning. Disgraceful.

No Fair trade, no buy. Easy decision. Boardroom scum. I know that you overpaid scumbags don't care. Will never buy from you again- all products.
