Good shoes but...
I started buying Kizik shoes just over a year ago. The first two pairs were great. Easy to slip into and out of, very comfortable and, even though I wear them daily, they are still in good shape. I'm an active guy for my age (71). I live near the mountains and I like to hike, so I bought a pair of Wasatch. From the minute I put them on they squeaked when I walked, both pair, loudly. I tried powder, a thin layer then a ton. Still squeaked. I tried Vaseline, Still squeaked. I emailed Kizik and they basically said "tough luck" no returns for squeaking. So, now I have two $150 shoes that sit in my closet all the time doing nothing. So, caveat emptor, Kizik, good shoes mostly, ZERO service and concern for the customer!
Bad quality: Sole worn out after 30 days
I’ve had the shoes for just two months, and the interior is already showing wear. When I reached out, I was told that I’m outside the warranty and offered a mere 10% off a new pair. After doing some research, it’s clear this issue has been ongoing for years, yet the company hasn’t taken any steps to revamp their product. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a company with such a strong concept fail so badly on quality control, especially when charging a premium price.
Wrong size
Placed order early Dec., received shoes early Jan. Slow! The shoes were marked the size I ordered but I could not wear them, too small. I compared the physical size of the shoes with (same size) others I have, the Kizik shoes were clearly much smaller than marked (about 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller). Despite what they say on their site, I had to pay the return fees - no way would they accept the return at their cost, even though they had clearly sent me a 'faulty' product. Total ripoff/scam - do not purchase from this business!
Great quality
My son got 2 years out his leather shoes. Will be buying another pair.
Highly disappointing experience, avoid at all costs
I had a highly disappointing experience with Kizik and cannot recommend their products or customer service.
1) Chaotic Refund Process: Despite receiving notifications that my refunds were "processed successfully," it took multiple follow-ups and over two weeks to get the refunds. Even then, refunds were staggered, with some taking much longer than promised. Their system errors and inability to track returns accurately caused significant delays.
2) Product Quality Issues: The pair of shoes I kept began falling apart after less than 10 wears. The leather on the back peeled off, revealing poor craftsmanship and flimsy adhesive. This kind of quality is unacceptable for shoes priced at $120, resembling something you’d expect from a $15 pair.
3) Merged Accounts and Data Breach: Kizik inexplicably merged my account with another customer's, exposing their personal information to me. This alarming data breach raises serious concerns about their handling of customer privacy.
4) Unresponsive and Disorganized Customer Support: Responses to my inquiries were delayed, with excuses like team members being on holiday or unexpectedly out of the office. Basic issues required multiple follow-ups, and I was left waiting for answers far too often.
5) Warranty Refund Issues: Even after identifying a manufacturing defect in their product, the resolution process was unnecessarily slow, with repeated apologies but minimal proactive effort to make things right.
Between poor product quality, significant privacy issues, and disorganized customer service, Kizik has failed on every level. Their shoes may look appealing, but they’re not worth the frustration. Avoid at all costs.
Avoid - Company And Products Not Good
I had a pair of these shoes tear and fray after little use and the company had no interest in honoring their warranty. They said it was normal wear and tear, even though the damage was on the top of my sneaker, in an area that is never touched by the ground or my foot. I have numerous pairs of Kiziks, many much older than these, and none show any wear in that spot because it's not a spot where wear and tear occurs. Pick shoes from a company that stands by their products. I wish I had read more of these reviews before buying these.
Shoes came apart at the soles
Shoes came apart at the soles just 6 months after purchase. They were lightly used and still look like new. I contacted customer service, and they claimed it wasn’t a defect, citing wear and tear. I have many similar shoes that I’ve been wearing for years without this issue. Extremely disappointed.
No shoes and no response
I ordered a pair of shoes on December 20 and pay for expedited shipping. It is now January 4 and I still have not received the shoes. They charged me but they have not sent the shoes and I cannot get any update from customer service. No one answers the customer service line. I have sent emails and no one has responded.

Worst buying experience ever
I have had multiple Kizik shoes in the past and have absolutely loved them. The original creator (Mike Pratt) is an amazing human and so it pains me to write this review.
The Kizik.com site is AWFUL! Having spent most of Black Friday and Cyber Monday being bombarded but their relentless sale ads I finally caved and bout 2 pairs of shoes on 12/3/24.
I didn’t see them or any tracking for over a week and so I called their customer service and they assured me that they received my order and that despite them being backed up, was still being processed. However, here I sit on 12/22/23 nearly 20 days later with no shoes and when I log in to track it the only message says it is on its way to the carrier and it hasn’t moved since 12/10. It is clear that there are some major logistical issues here and that the company needs to regroup and focus more on fulfillment and creating happy customers than simply placing orders to boast year end sales numbers and then not fulfilling. It is clear by the reviews that I’m not alone in my frustration and I hope the choose to improve
Badly managed company
Badly managed company. “Sells” products they don’t actually have in stock. I bought a pair of boots on Nov 10, 2024 that I paid $355 for. I sent 2 emails inquiring about the whereabouts of the boots and finally phoned today (Dec 19) only to be told that they had canceled the order without informing me. However they hung on to my money all this time! I insisted on a refund NOW! Most disappointed with this company. I do not recommend purchasing from it.
Last Time - think this company has gone downhill
Gosh so many bad reviews and I am now experiencing this.
I have had 2 different styled Kizik shoes both of which were great. I then thought I'd order another different style that appear more suitable for my walks (usually 6-10km's at a time) and boy was I wrong, when I wore them I ended up with a sore knee, it felt like I was slipping, yet got cramp in my feet (as I would if the shoe was too tight), I contacted Kizik and they were not interested, I even re tried once I got orthotics, thinking maybe they'd help, unfortunaely made no difference.
And I stupidly thought I'd order another pair of a style I already had, that were getting a bit old, unfortunatley I now find myself in a situation that the money has been taken from my credit card and 5 weeks later I still have no shoes, I have just sent my 3rd email and after reading other reviews the email responses are very similar and not really any action has been taken.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND SHOES NOT THAT GREAT
Own 1 pair of their shoes and they are just OK. Fit not great. I should have returned them. Tried to get a pair of the Juno mid women's boots and they have been out of stock of almost all of them for months. Emailed customer service almost 3 weeks ago, no response. Got on the chat the other day and the rep said he would check and be right back...waited over 20 minutes and he never came back. I am finished with Kizik!!!

Customer service failed to adjust for a defective $100 shoe. I wrote them on the 12/4, they did not respond until 12/10. I suggest buying slipon shoes from Sketchers.

Wasted $100 on Shoes I Can't Wear
So I contact Kizik politely in late November 2024, to explain my situation: Love their Madrid Eco Knit, which I’ve been wearing for several years (have bought several pairs by now). Love it so much that I bought a pair to keep in reserve.
When I took it out to wear, I discovered that the construction of the shoe had been changed. (The most obvious change was the enlargement of the outsole, which now looked somewhat bloated and clown-like—I did not include this in my message.)
My big toes hurt when I wear the shoes now, no matter how gradually I try to break them in. “Do you have any suggestions, please?” I ask. I thought maybe that stretching them out in a certain way might help.
I get a response from someone with the name Maricel, who first asks for my (most recent) order number, which I promptly provide.
Maricel then informs me that I am out of luck. Maricel contacted the warranty department, which responded by saying that the shoes don’t qualify for a return. The email concludes with the happy message, “The best is always around the bend.”
I hadn’t asked to return the shoes. I had asked for guidance as to what someone in my situation might do. This was not a question for the warranty department.
I’ve tried stretching out the shoes with some heavy wooden shoe trees but so far, no luck. Looks like I wasted $100 on shoes that I won’t be able to wear.
I remember how wonderful customer service at Kizik was in years gone by. Too bad that this seems to have changed.
Be careful when purchasing. Very careful.
I've bought six pairs of roamer kiziks and without warning, they discontinued the roamer, the only kizik shoe that I can wear. I didn't find this out until I tried the sierra boot and had to return it because it didn't fit right. I tried another size, but they still didn't fit right. Lima didn't work for me either. So now they won't refund my money. I'm stuck with $187 gift card with nothing to buy. Then I got a 15% discount. It's a nice gesture, but there's still nothing for me to buy there. Be weary! Don't commit until you've 100% determined that they are the right shoes for you.

Terrible customer service at their store in the Fashion Place Mall I went in with a new pair of shoes and wanted to upgrade to a softer shoe or a recovery shoe since I've been in several accidents the salesperson was very curt and didn't even listen to me and there was a little bit of dirt on them he inspected them with a microscope and wouldn't even negotiate with me I was willing to take any kind of offer and then upgrade and pay for a more comfortable shoe my recommendation is just stick with Skechers extra comfort extra cushion. They're much better shoe and much less expensive and if the sales people aren't going to represent their product that is double the price of Skechers that's a real shame on them they should have treated me better I am good judge of character and I don't think this company representative should work with people he was sloppy looking and show no empathy and customer service poor customer service from the sales manager. If they claim easy returns then it should be easy to aleast get some service. I now have a new pair of kitz that won't be worn. I feel bad my daughter and son in law wasted their money. I have blue athens and was willing to pay more for the londons Im a shoe guy and this experience will make me never consider this brand. Save your money don't buy.
