We joined Knew Health in 2019. Over the years we have utilized their services for a colonoscopy reimbursement and have utilized the discounted and free costs on lab tests and discounted costs on supplements. We had never used the medical sharing portion of our membership. However, in July 2024 my wife had a serious health crisis. It came on suddenly and without warning. We went to the emergency room thinking she would need antibiotics or an IV. It turned out she was in renal failure. Her kidneys had stopped working. We were in intensive care for several days, with a total hospital stay of 13 days. And now receiving outpatient care. Knew Heath was and is absolutely awesome. They were always quick to respond via phone or email with information and advice on how to deal with the bills and how to negotiate as a self-pay patient without insurance. And Knew Health was quick to share funds back to us, direct to our bank account. It was horrible to be in the hospital, but was great to know Knew Health was on our side with regards to the numerous and high bills. It was awesome that there were reliable and personal points of contact for us to reach out to. We’re so grateful.

Positive experience - had to get some shots for travel and it was great that they were covered for sharing.

For several year I could not afford traditional health insurance. Knew health was a wonderful solution. Thankfully my husband and I only had to use it a few times, but they always were able to get our medical costs reimbursed quickly. The customer service team is amazing. They even called to check on me after I submitted a claim for an ER visit. They seem like a company that actually cares. I have nothing but good things to say. The only reason I canceled my membership is because I got an excellent health insurance plan through a new employer.

I've been with Knew Health for the past few years. Traditional healthcare has become unbearably expensive for a self employed person. I was always nervous as to whether or not Knew Health would pay out if there ever was a need. Fast forward to April 2024 and I had a massive heart attack and was in the hospital for a week. As you can imagine the bill was very high. I contacted knew health once I got out of the hospital and they made the experience very easy for me and paid out the bill without hesitation (minus my deductible. I worked with Mr Barbosa and he has been excellent and always answers my emails and helps with any questions that I have. I don't think I would ever go back to traditional health care.

They are always prompt in responding to my questions and will keep good communication if they have follow-up questions. Very glad we found them.

My family has used Knew Health for the last three years and they are FANTASTIC. We were part of two other medical cost sharing companies prior to then and had horrible experiences at both, but Knew Health has been great at every turn. I had a medical crisis while traveling in Mexico and they were immensely helpful and paid for everything over my deductible quickly and in full. Then my daughter ended up in the hospital a couple months ago and again they were super fast with reimbursement and covered everything without making me jump through a million hoops. I usually get reimbursement checks within a week or two of submitting my receipts/bills.

Just all around really great client services, reasonable prices, and good people. Highly recommend.

I'm not one to go to traditional doctors very often. I'm not opposed to them and have needed traditional medical care at various times in my life, but I'd rather try to eat right and use natural products or practices to address issues that arise. Knew Health is perfect for me because they have paid for things that traditional insurance would never have covered and yet they also cover the traditional care I've used (one time trip to ER). I wish the healthcare system could be so flexible and do what is right for the patient and not what is right for the system. I'm happy I found Knew Health and have told many people about them.

We are a family of three that have been using the "affordable" care act insurance for several years along with other insurance carriers. We are a small family-owned business, so, finding a good provider has always been a challenge due to high deductibles to keep the costs affordable for us. This year, we decided to research several share type companies for our insurance needs. After talking with several, we decided to put our trust into Knew Health for our healthcare needs and protection against huge costs that you could rack up in the event of the unforeseen. We rarely used our insurance in the past, unfortunately, this year we had two situations that required three emergency visits, an ambulance ride and 4 days in the hospital for 2 out of 3 of us. I'll admit I was nervous that Knew Health wouldn't hold up their end of the deal and take care of us when we needed them. Having a "non-traditional" insurance that we're told to have was something that weighed heavy on my mind. Would Knew Health cover all that we were being charged for? Would they do what they claim they would do? Yes, they did!! They have been amazing to work with. Guiding us through and making sure to get the real prices (self-pay) rates that actually should be billed to patients. The over inflated statements and charges they issue are so absurd compared to what they actually should be charging for the services and Knew Health has been excellent in helping to navigate that. After turning statements in they have communicated in a timely manner and pay super-fast. So far, we've had nothing but a great experience with Knew Health and feel that moving forward we can put our trust in them to take care of us in our time of need.

Excellent health coverage option, excellent company and customer service. We looked into an alternate health coverage option for several years, keeping our eye on Knew Health. Given that it withstood the test of time and only grew as a company and with their offerings, we decided to join a few years ago and are so happy we did. So many benefits and so easy to work with--prompt and helpful customer service. Thank You Knew Health!

Knew health was the best decision I could have been made for my health and my bank account. Every single employee I have dealt with has been kind and understanding.

About 10 months ago I made the transition from traditional marketplace health insurance to Knew Health's Cost Share program. I'll be honest I was a little hesitant initially, and asked a ton of questions. I can honestly say, this is one of the best decisions I've made regarding health insurance! I recently had an incident that caused me to be in the Emergency Room twice, had numerous tests and follow up visits with my primary care. From my initial incident to the bills being paid in full (less my cost share) was 33 days! The communication with my representative has been amazing. Every time I called, my call was answered immediately by a real person, they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I can't say enough good things about Knew Health!

Knew Health has been a perfect plan for my healthcare needs. I appreciate that I can choose my own medical providers and use holistic doctors. Customer service is friendly. They are also available to answer any questions I have.

I love that John reached out to me to follow up and stayed current with my situation until we got to a solid resolution. It was reassuring to interact with an actual human with actual answers---without ME needing to do the work of tracking down another code that I don't understand.

I have found Knew Health to be one of the best ways to navigate the confusing landscape of the US health system with out traditional health insurance. There is a lot of freedom and flexability. I love the fact that you can choose the doctor you want to see.

The staff at Knew Health are very helpful and prompt in answering questions which also helps a lot when trying to understand costs and alternative ways to find care.

KnewHealth has been really great as an alternative to regular health insurance. Our monthly premium is less, which is great since we typically do not need to visit doctors very much. Just had a baby while still using KnewHealth and it was easier to me than using insurance. I knew exactly what I was responsible for without having to jump through hoops. And the needs submission are usually processed within a couple days. Also, shout out to John Barbosa, the Needs Team Member who took care of most of my submissions and helped answer the questions I had!

I have been using Knew Health for several years, and love this service. I recently had a baby, and was nervous going into that process without “typical” health insurance. I truly believe that I had an exponentially better experience with Knew Health than I would’ve had with any other type of health insurance. The support that was provided by the team was amazing! I always spoke to the same REAL person if I ever needed anything.
I tell everyone I know about Knew Health, and I think it will continue to be the best option as more and more providers are moving away from accepting health insurance.
