Knowadays delivers a wealth of clear and detailed proofreading training in a series of well-organized modules. Abundant resources and opportunities to self-test are built right in. It took time and focus, but the training well prepared me for the final exam.

A good experience all in all, but I'm dropping a star because, while I can go from the "Courses" page to the unit in each course, each unit has many slides, and I had to click through them to find the one I was looking for.

The proofreading course was excellent. It was well structured, with examples and mini-tests to guide you. I did not appreciate the work involved with proofreading, but I do now! I passed the final assignment on the first attempt. Thank you, Knowadays!

I wanted to start a new career, something remote. I had a lot of proofreading experience in previous jobs, and loved it. But I knew I needed to formalize my skills. That is exactly what I was able to do with the Becoming a Proofreader Course from Knowadays. I
relearned all the English language rules from my youth, but this time in UK and US English. The course was very organized and thorough, giving me the tools to pursue my career as a proofreader with confidence.

I really enjoyed this course and felt I learned a lot. I especially found the sections on Word very easy to follow. The tutors were easily accessible and answered all my questions. I would have liked some practice exercises, but that's me, and many on the internet can be searched out. I would highly recommend this course for anyone starting out in proofreading. Great value for money!

After losing my previous job, I happened across a blog post about how one could become a professional proofreader and several places to gain a certification. Knowadays was among them, and after some research, I decided to buy Knowadays's course because of the positive reviews and the guarantee of work upon completion of the course. I'm glad I did as the course was thorough and informative. Well worth the money! Now I am working for their partner, Proofed, and I have a job that is challenging and also makes me happy. Becoming a Proofreader is very informative and thorough with a well-thought-out course flow. The quizzes and exercises within the modules allow you to immediately apply the information covered, and there is an abundance of additional reference material throughout the course for more help. My tutor was very kind and extremely helpful and encouraging with her feedback. This course sets you up for success as long as you do your part and put in the effort. It is absolutely worth it!

After working 20 years in publishing (trained in-house on one particular style), I took this course to broaden my knowledge. The course went above and beyond my expectations. The interactive quizzes and mini assignments help to reinforce the learning. Even though I've finished, I have access to the additions and improvements Knowadays continues to make to the course. I know I'll be popping back in now and again to check things.

I completed the Becoming A Proofreader course, and thought they were excellent from start to finish. The course itself was great and I learnt a great deal. I liked the fact that there was a mix of slides, quizzes and tutor help (should you need it) and a webinar. And when it came to the final exams, a tutor emailed the results with in-depth comments about what went well and what could be improved, which was also followed by a live video chat to explain this further, which I thought was very useful indeed!

Knowadays is a wonderful company. When I enrolled in their course, it was clear that they wanted me to succeed and get everything I could from it. They have great tutors who send you videos where they address any issues you have on the course, the help available on the website is fast and efficient, and they even send you extra learning resources at no extra cost. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and because of them I now work as a proofreader, which I really love doing.

This course taught me all manner of editing whatsits, allowing me to really improve in the work I'd already been doing for a while. But the knowledge that Microsoft Word is not wholly evil—that it may even be at least a tad good—is worth the price of admission alone.
