Item arrived damaged and the company fails to deal with the complaint. Do not order from them

I purchased a large amount of catering equipment from KRD Equipments for my new cafe, including a bain marie model M204.
The equipment was delivered on 9th April 2026. My cafe opened on 14th April, and by 18th April the bain marie had stopped working completely — only 4 days after opening.
I contacted KRD by both telephone and email the same day the fault occurred. All communication thereafter was by email. Over a period of around 3 weeks, I was repeatedly asked to try different things at different times, but I never received a consistent resolution.
I requested a call from a manager/supervisor on two separate occasions and, to date, I am still waiting for this to happen.
I was eventually advised that I would need to pay for an engineer to assess the bain marie. In my opinion, a machine that fails after 4 days of use was clearly faulty from the outset.
Unfortunately, this caused disruption to my business as I was left without a properly functioning bain marie for around 3 weeks, affecting my ability to keep food warm and resulting in loss of revenue. I ultimately had to purchase a replacement bain marie from another company.
In addition to this, the soup warmer and saladette both leak badly, and the hotplate has split causing grease to escape everywhere. Photos can be supplied.
I am disappointed with both the quality of the equipment supplied and the level of after-sales support received

If I would have known, or done research. I would have learned how bad, and dishonest this company is, I would never have purchased from them anything in the first place. I have been left with damaged item, no replacement no full refund, hit me with silence, proper scammers.
Unfortunately, it's not only me that was treated this way. Reading other reviews, they sound identical to my situation.

Worst company around. It’s more of a scam company. I ordered products and the finance team iwoca paid them and now it’s been 4 weeks and they are not delivering my goods. I have called them everyday and they always say will pass message onto boss and get no response. I don’t even understand how this company is still trading and how many people they must’ve scammed and got away with it. You can’t rate less than 1 otherwise I would rate them even less. I will now take legal action against them so they don’t think of scamming anyone in future.

I bought a griddle which arrived damaged as in a few dents and scuffs which isn't too big of a deal and had I not needed it straight away I would've requested a replacement. I set it up and used it for an hour. I contacted customer services and sent pictures showing the damage etc. They asked if it was working ok which I replied yes. The next day (today) I've used it from 7:30 onwards and could soon tell that it's not functioning to its full potential, by that I mean there's cold spots and I'm having to cook on the highest setting 300 degrees which is extremely high just to do a bit sausage and bacon. I've emailed them this morning explaining it isn't right to be told there's nothing they can do other than offer me £10 as a gesture of goodwill?? Having a laugh aren't you? I've had it 2 days. All I wanted was a replacement unit that worked and wasn't damaged. I'll never use these again they're useless and sell junk.

I recently purchased a commercial 6 slice toaster from this company. I started to use it a few weeks after the purchase and noticed the static toaster sounded like a tractor while in use. I could only contact the company my email! and explained my annoyance with the noisy toaster. The agent then told me to get a qualified engineer to provide a report at my expense even though the unit was a month old!
This company should not be trading and I have made a formal complaint to Paypal.

Do not trust KRD at all. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of their products or the prices they advertise. The devices they sell only look good on the outside and honestly feel more like toys than useful products. I personally bought one of their devices, and after using it, I realized it had absolutely no real function and was not useful at all because it didn’t even heat properly.

When I contacted customer support, they replied very slowly — sometimes only once a day — and then told me that because I had used the device, I could no longer return it. My question is: if I don’t use the device, how am I supposed to know whether it works or not? I bought it to use it, not just to look at it.

My experience with this company was completely negative, and I honestly feel like I wasted my money. I strongly recommend that people do proper research before buying from this company and not trust their advertising.

I purchased 2 stock pot burners, advertised on their website as having a Flame Failure Device. When they arrived (delayed twice!) I was surprised that they did not have any kind of safety mechanism. Even with the knobs in the off position, the gas was freely flowing out of the burners. My Gas Engineer checked them and agreed that they were unsafe as the only was to stop the gas flowing was to turn off the gas at the bottle.
I got in touch with Customer Services and after a dozen emails over a week long back and forth, they insisted that my gas set up was incorrect and that I should get a Gas Safe engineer to check it. They said that they were happy with the product and the problem was at my end. Not once in a dozen emails did they acknowledge the lack of FFD, even though the website clearly states that it has one.
The product is not fit for purpose, and customer service is a joke. Just a bunch of untrained people with zero knowledge of what they are selling. They use delaying tactics and hope that you will just go away.
Do not waste your money with this company

Machine not good working sorting wrong. I try change machine but company not do it.
They say "bring in a technician, prepare a report, and then we'll process it," and they expect me to pay the technician's fee. It's a terrible company; definitely don't do business with them.

If I could give zero stars I would. Sent a faulty item which we spent nearly three hours trying to build. So slow to reply to any messages. Don't answer the phone. refuse refunds. refuse to take returns. I wish I had read reviews of this company before I ordered. Don't waste your time.

Bought a commercial griddle from KRD which was useless after 2 months use. Very very poor quality and even worse customer service.

Amazing prices, top quality products, quick delivery.

The equipment I bought didn’t work and it took almost 3weeks for KRD to withdraw it. Still, it has not been returned, neither have i been refunded.

Great products, good after-sales, true to their word and although the prices may seem cheap, the products are of solid quality. 1 item arrived damaged, followed their policy, was abit lengthy and honestly could do with reviewing but we got there in the end and as an apology they didnt just send me the replacement but a whole new unit.

I placed an order and paid for a Pop Corn Machine on 27th of March and was confirmed to be delivered within 2-4 Working days and 2 weeks after I contacted KRD Catering and was told
It was at a courier depot and they would tell them to release and deliver. Another week goes by and still not arrived so contacted them again to be told
It had been damaged and that they would send a replacement which another week went by and No delivery…..I had to contact them again to be told this was out of stock and they have a more expensive machine and they would give me a 5% discount off the price. I emailed KRD Catering to say that I wanted a full
Refund as I wanted the size i ordered and that I would have to order from another supplier and Now another week has gone by with No reply to my email and No Refund even though I sent them all the bank details as well as contact number.

They don’t bring all the items and I called them many times No one replied to me very bad customer service.
