THE CURTAINS ARE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED .THEY WERE PROPERLY MEASURED AND INSTALLED HOWEVER THE CUSTOMER SHOULD KNOW THAT THE CURTAINS ARE COMING FROM W.A. AND WILL BE SOME TIME. THE SERVICE FROM MAX AND BRYAN WAS GREAT BUT THE BASIC COMPANY LEAVES ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT .

1 word: DON'T

The only responsive person was the installer.
Waited 10 weeks for the curtains. There is no point in calling the showroom as call always goes to voice mail and no one EVER calls you back.
Finally upon installation: the living room blackout had a stain and will have to be re-ordered and the bedroom curtain is way too long, although it was specified that there should be no puddling on the curtains and to my surprise they wanted to charge an extra $240 to take up a brand new curtain which they made wrong.
Taking the case to the Victorian Fair Trade department.
This has been the worst company I ever dealt with in my whole like.
Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

Give Kresta a hard pass

I ordered curtains and shutters from Kresta Blinds for my apartment. Whilst the initial interaction was positive, once I placed the order, the wheels fell off. I will never again purchase anything from Kresta.

Here's why:
1. What was meant to take '4-6 weeks' to be manufactured took nearly 3 months. I understand supply chain issues, but there was no communication from the company in the interim.
2. Installer ('Nick') turned up with wrong brackets and couldn't hang the curtains, although the shutters were put up efficiently.
3. The Venetian blind I ordered actually didn't fit, so couldn't be installed. 'Nick' left it behind saying it wasn't his problem to take away as I'd paid for it. Same with the curtains.
4. When I rang the 'office' to talk about what happens next, they said they didn't have a record of any issues. This is despite the installer taking a photo of the Venetian blind that didn't fit and sending it to them via email. He said he also told then he had the wrong curtain brackets in the same email.
5. They also said they didn't have an installer called 'Nick'. They said it was meant to be 'Frank'.
6. Rescheduling the curtain installation has been a nightmare. You would think they'd prioritize my installation given it was their mistake that they weren't hung on the day.

Kresta insists on installing curtains when it suits THEM, not the customer. They only have one installer my area, so it's about when 'he's in the area'.

As at time of writing, I'm still trying to negotiate an installation date.

Give Kresta a hard pass. I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Don't use this company they don't get…

Don't use this company they don't get back to you on their customer care centre,my Shutter's have screws that are going rusty and they won't replace them said not covered by twenty year warranty have asked if they can send me the parts to replace myself but no answer back completely ignore you, not good enough after spending -$15,000 they should have used stainless steel fittings in the first place.

Don't even think about ordering with…

Don't even think about ordering with Kresta. Six months later and we are still waiting - despite the fact they require full payment early on. No responses to emails or phone calls. Virtually no customer service.

They require full payment before job is started! Foolishly I paid in full ($6000) only to find that the product was the wrong one. I was told by them it was my fault and to order what was needed I would need to pay extra, again I was required to pay in full before any work was started! I was happy to pay a deposit and the remainder of payment at the time of completion. They even quoted on something that could not be installed in our home!

Literally the worst experience!

I ordered the automatic blinds in May 2022 and they are still not supplied or installed!

They do not return phones and if they do they blame everything on you - they do not take any responsibility!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Impossible to get a solution

We paid for my Kresta shutters in March 2022 (7 months ago) and still have not had my order completed or installed. They incorrectly measured the first time (significantly off) and now we have been waiting 3 months (and counting). I have called customer service multiple times - the first person said it would be "prioritised", however, when I called back after hearing nothing for months the 2nd person said it was still "waiting for production" (and she could not explain why). Will likely be a year plus (from order date) before we have these blinds and no attempt to rectify this has been made. Terrible customer experience!

Rude customer service

I rang up kresta to organize a measure and quote for plantation shutters. A guy got back to me 2 days later telling me he can come on Friday at 1 pm. I told him no one is home on any day at that time and can he come after 4 or on Saturday. He basically said no to both and ended the conversation. Very rude and surely they can work around a customer’s schedule.

6 months wait for one blind after full payment I would NOT USE KRESTA

It’s now 6 months on and I’m still waiting for one blind !!! One freakin blind kresta ! You don’t return calls you don’t keep promises but you take full payment and keep telling lies !! This was all your mistake to why your guy installed half a blind and measurements were wrong , NO longer will a simple sorry do, sick of the absolute bla that comes from such an incompetent company! For anyone considering kresta don’t use them ! Go to elsewhere, this company is shocking at contacting customers , keeping dates and shonky deals , quality is poor and they don’t even offer a discount or upgrade when clearly they screw up and make you wait 6 months !

I bought curtains from Kresta in Qld…

I bought curtains from Kresta in Qld who also own Curtain Wonderland. 12 months later, and 4 attempts, and the curtains still aren't the correct length. The operations team are hopeless, and I've been dealing with the overall Manager of both comapnies with no satisfaction. I feel sorry for the instore staff who are doing their best and completely let down by the lack of professionalism, follow through and complete lack of customer service by the operations leadership and team.

This is a nightmare company

This is a nightmare company. I paid a deposit for shutters in November 2021, promised to arrive in April, after weeks of chasing for an answer no response I've cancelled my order. I have now been waiting for over one month for my refund. Shonky, dodgy and so unprofessional I don't know how they are still in business. Worst experience and company, do not use them

I’ve been told the refund has been approved for payment a month ago and no refund. I’ll will need to seek legal action to have it returned, despite not having received my product ordered in November 2921 I have to follow up and follow up again and again for the refund. Shocking service

Terrible Company to work with

Bad communications. Bad customer service. Highly misleading delivery time frames. Was told a time frame of 6-7 weeks. Its been 3 months! I've had to constantly call to chase. When asking to speak to someone to get a refund I was told that the person was away on a course for a couple of weeks and no one was taking charge of the role. Bordering on criminal with the fact that they have taken a deposit and have not delivered. I would never use them again and would suggest that nobody uses them.

Beware Kresta!

Beware. This company is very unprofessional and unreliable. Nightmare experience. Measured, quoted and paid in November. Long delay in installation only to find curtains didn’t fit. Promised to re-hem and return. That was weeks ago (it’s now March) and they won’t respond to emails. AVOID. ND, Bondi Junction NSW.
PS: installer finally arrived today (18 March 2022) but was once again unable to install the curtains because he had left the tracks back in the warehouse! Refused to go back and get them to complete the installation today and insisted I make yet another appointment for installation. This staggering incompetence should not be rewarded with your custom!

Avoid Kresta

We had a very long and unprofessional experience with Kresta.
Here were all the issues we had:

- 19 March our floor-plan was sent through to Kresta
- It wasn’t until 6 months and 2 weeks later that the job was finished
- The house had to be measured up twice, as the first measure was wrong in numerous places. Even the second measure was wrong for the shutter.
- Saturday 28 August - blinds and sheers installed. However, sheers in the living room and dining room were touching the ground in places (poor installation)
- Thursday 2 September shutter installed. The shutter was the wrong size and was cut to fit on-site, the finish of the cut is rough. The installer seemed to be under pressure from his superiors to install the wrong shutter.
- We were sent an invoice for a bill we had already paid
- The installers didn’t know if we’d fully paid, when we had. Poor communication between installers (contractors) and Kresta
- Poor communication about installation - we had to email Kresta a number of times to follow up and ask THEM what the next step was. It was as if there was no action on our order until we emailed Kresta

Requests:
- we requested a partial refund for the rough shutter job and for the general inconvenience, however, we received no reply from Kresta.

Dismal customer service

We accepted a Kresta quote to do the whole house with roller blinds and shutters. The roller blinds were fine but the shutters are a disaster. They missed one window (4ft x 2ft in the middle of the lounge) completely and the blinds for the bay window didn't fit. They put in an ugly temp solution for the bay window without consulting us and say they won't do anything about the missing window unless we give them another $300. Our lounge is a laughing stock and trying to negotiate a solution with their customers service people is a joke. If you're looking for blinds, try somewhere else.
