It seems everyone here is using it to complain yet my experience was faultless. I order a number of paring knives in the sale and they arrived swiftly and we are loving the knives. Great value and super sharp for prep work.

Not Induction suitable. Regretably we bought an 8 litre Duromatic Inox Pressure Cooker with Side Grips. It does not work with our Miele Induction hob. Since then we have tried a different manufacturer's, which worked fine.

Liked the design, but it did not work for us.

I ordered some kitchen utensils from Kuhn Rikon as I thought they would be made in Switzerland, which is something they boast about on their website ("KUHN RIKON - Swiss design & Swiss made") and imply everywhere else on there as well. When my order arrived it was packed in a box for frying pans that said 'Made in China', and when I opened the box and looked at the products I ordered, it was the same there; Made in China. The product quality is good enough, but that's not the point. I'm prepared to pay a bit more for products which are made in Switzerland or other more local and more democratic countries and this is at the very best mistrepresentation and dishonest, if not right out devious. I have just renovated my kitchen and was going to order quite a bit more from them, but I'm glad I didn't... and I won't now. If you're a buyer for whom ethics is important in your purchases... avoid Kuhn Rikon. Unfortunately, it's not the only company applying such shady practices.

I don’t know if the Customer Service and Sales Administration Associate I dealt with is just incompetent, or actually deceitful.
Ordered a 4l, 22cm pressure cooker on the 12th August, 2023.
2 days later was told it wasn’t available, but I could have the 4l, 24cm version for the same price. I didn’t want a wider pressure cooker, so asked if I could have the 6l, 22cm version instead and didn’t mind paying extra if needed.
Came back to me saying that they would give me a 10% discount on the additional cost as a means of compensation so the extra cost would be £40. I checked the current prices, and the difference between the 2 pressure cookers was £13. Asked why they were charging so much and they came back and said I would only have to pay £9.50
Paid this extra and received my delivery 2 days later (18/8). However, on checking the parcel, they had sent me the 4l, 24cm version I did not want. I complained and requested they collected the wrong delivery and send the correct item. Was initially told I would have to do all the returns myself (why should I when it wasn’t my fault?) and they would send the replacement once they’d received the returned item.
After some complaining, they arranged for the parcel to be collected, and I was told (and I quote) “once I have received confirmation of the collection we will send out the item tomorrow”.
Parcel was collected on the 22/8 and I received an email with the tracking number of my replacement item. However, this was just a con (did she think I was stupid?) as Royal Mail did not actually received my replacement item until the 31/8 - 9 days later!
Replacement item was received on the 1st September but it was the 6l, 24cm version! I complained, yet again that it was the wrong item and that I did not want a wider pressure cooker.
This time I received a reply back from the Operations Manager. The return was arranged (yet again), and this time the correct item was sent to me within a couple of days.
I eventually received my pressure cooker on the 6th September, nearly 4 weeks after placing my order.

The items that Kuhn Rikon make are brilliant and of a high quality. It’s a shame that their customer service is so terrible. So I would advise buying their products, but from anywhere else other than direct from them!

Very good quality products and delivered in a timely manner. Also the free pan that came with last order is also of very good quality.

I was in the market for a new pressure cooker and decided to try one of the Kuhn Rikon Duromatic range; I'm so glad I did! To be honest there wasn't a lot wrong with my old Prestige pressure cooker, except it was starting to show its age after years of use. That said even new it wouldn't hold a candle to my new Duromatic. The build quality is superb, it's a dream to use and the end results have been excellent. Big thanks to Kuhn Rikon for producing such fabulous cookware.

Excellent company with really personal service and extra top quality goods. I would highly recommend this company and often great bargains to be had on cookware that will last a lifetime for sure.

I discovered this company via QVC having purchased a few items on there. This time I shopped directly as they had items on sale. I purchased a couple of kitchen knives, a multi tool can opener and more of THE best, Kochblume, microfibre cloths I’ve ever used. The quality of the knives and can opener are top. The opener doesn’t leave any sharp can/lid edges and the sharp knives, in bright colours, come with protective covers. Fast delivery, nicely packaged and would highly recommend.
