Impeccably planned and executed trip with an outstanding guide that escorted us through every element of each day. Every source of risk or confusion that can occur when traveling to foreign country for the first time was eliminated by the presence of local experts. Our primary guide for 5 days was awesome.

Like many travellers to Peru, we contacted several tour operators to put together a seven-day itinerary covering Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

One of the operators we contacted was Kuoda Travel, and Isabel put together a completely bespoke itinerary for the two of us, incorporating everything we wanted. Our communication with her was excellent throughout. Her responses were always quick and timely, which gave us great reassurance about the quality and reliability of the service they were providing.

Our trip started with Isabel organising our flight from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco and finished with our transfer from Lima Airport to our hotel in Miraflores. Everything in between was arranged smoothly and efficiently.

Our time in Cusco and the Sacred Valley was particularly enjoyable. We visited some of the area’s most impressive Inca sites and had the opportunity to experience both the history and the spectacular scenery of the region.

We spent time in Ollantaytambo, including the remarkable Inca archaeological site with its enormous terraces and Temple of the Sun, as well as exploring the old Inca town and its traditional streets. It was one of the highlights of our time in the Sacred Valley.

Our stay at Tambo del Inka in Urubamba was also excellent. It was a very comfortable base for exploring the Sacred Valley and fitted perfectly with the standard of accommodation we were looking for. We were able to leave our suitcases here and just take hand luggage for our one night stay in Aguas Calientes.

Our guide throughout the trip was Eliacin, who was excellent. He allowed us to travel at our own pace and was extremely patient, knowledgeable and helpful at every stage. He really added to our enjoyment of the trip. He is a real credit to the service the company provided.

Isabel also organised Circuit 2 and Circuit 3 at Machu Picchu for our two days there. Both were excellent and gave us two very different perspectives of this incredible site.

Our one-night stay at Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel in Aguas Calientes was extremely comfortable. After a busy day of travelling and exploring, it was a pleasure to have such a welcoming and relaxing hotel to return to. The room was comfortable, the service was excellent, and the hotel provided a perfect base for our visit to Machu Picchu.

In Cusco, we stayed at Palacio del Inka, which was an excellent choice of hotel. Its central location made it a very convenient base for exploring Cusco and the surrounding area, while maintaining the high standard of accommodation we were looking for. It is also rich in history and the 5pm hotel tour is worth doing.

The hotels Isabel chose for us were perfect for our requirements and made the whole experience even more enjoyable and comfortable.

The communication with Lucas through Watsapp and in person and the team throughout our trip was excellent. He made sure our transfers from Cusco to Lima were seamless. Having a dedicated WhatsApp group made everything incredibly easy, and they were always quick to respond to any questions or requests we had.

We would be very happy to recommend Kuoda Travel and would certainly use them again. The company is run efficiently and professionally, while still providing a genuinely personal and bespoke service.

Kuoda planned our trip to Peru and it was a fantastic experience! We don’t often use travel agents, but for this trip doing lots of hiking, seeing Machu Picchu, exploring the sacred valley, it was perfect. The activities were great for our family, our guide was truly one of the best ever, and the whole trip was so smooth. We loved our personalized itinerary, I would highly recommend Kuoda to anyone.

My family of 4 used Kuoda Travel for a two week trip to Peru. We were overwhelmed by the logistics of the trip planning since we would be moving around quite a bit. We're so glad we used Kuoda! We highly recommend Kuoda! Their team curated the ideal trip for our family of four. We covered a lot of ground in 10 days, and it was at the PERFECT PACE for our family. All the drivers and guides (especially JJ and Abel in Cusco/Sacred Valley portion) were undeniably INVALUABLE! Every single day, our guide was on time and ready to go with an amazing attitude. They were also very patient and engaging with our two girls, ages 7 and 11.

Visiting Machu Picchu was a highlight, and the main reason for booking our trip, but I truly underestimated how much there is to see and do in Peru! We felt so taken care of the entire time. The culinary experiences (Andean earth fire/private farms/city food tours), workshops (ceramics class/adobe making), and outdoor activities (alpaca farm/horseback riding/hiking around archeological sites) were ALL exceptional. There is not one tour or meal that we would want to change! Also, the accommodations were very nice and spacious enough for our family. We especially loved the eco hotel in the sacred valley — Las Qolqas! It was a quiet, stunning property outside the busy area of town.

Overall, it felt so nice to be off the main tourist path and treated like a VIP. We thought the pricing for our vacation was more than reasonable and reflected our private guided tours fairly. We plan to book another South American adventure with Kuoda!

We had the very best of everything on the trip; the best food, the best guide; and great accommodations. It was a stress-free way to travel.

Kuoda designed a fun, varied and interesting 14 day itinerary including Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Lima. Everything from the planning to all the logistics of the trip was smooth and well organized, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the journey.

All of the guides and drivers were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. The hotels were excellent, and the food was consistently delicious.

Visiting Peru and Machu Picchu was a lifetime dream and I chose Kuoda Travel after extensive research and high expectations. From the initial contact with Nadia, my Travel Designer, I knew Kuoda was the right choice. Nadia’s warmth and knowledge was evident right from the start. She designed an 8-day itinerary that was authentic, thoughtful and well-paced. From Lima through the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, and back to Lima, everything was flawless. In addition to a detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary, she provided us a Destination Guide and a Peru Guide that answered all of our questions. Once in Peru we communicated with the Kuoda team, including Lucas, the Customer Care Supervisor, through WhatsApp. At every step of the way there was someone at our side to help us navigate this beautiful country; from Sarah and Ofelia for the airport arrivals and departures, to Jose, our driver. But the trip was made extraordinary by our warm and wonderful Tour Guide, Evelyn. She was the person that brought Peru to life for me and my best friend. Although I had dreamed of Machu Picchu for over forty years, and am in the travel industry, it was hard to believe my friend Debbie was unaware of its existence. Evelyn, our Guide, was with us throughout our journey, and her knowledge and passion for the history, culture, geography, flora, and fauna of Peru was amazing. Her enthusiasm was infectious. We delighted in every experience, from visiting the llamas and alpacas, the amazing lunches at a hacienda and private home, the women weavers near the town of Chinchero, the Maras salt pans, and so much more. Of course, the highlight was Machu Picchu. Evelyn made it come alive. We were fortunate to have multiple visits to the site, so were able to enjoy a slow and thoughtful pace to appreciate the splendor of being there. Staying at the Sanctuary Lodge, steps away from the site, and riding the luxurious Hiram Bingham train fulfilled my Peruvian wish list. Hotels were excellent, food delicious, and museums informative, especially the Larco Museum in Lima. Cusco was colorful, churches beautiful and the Pachamama ceremony giving thanks to Mother Earth on our last morning in Peru was a wonderful spiritual way to make our journey complete. All of this under the guidance of Evelyn and the Kuoda team, our travel family. Kuoda exemplifies the very best of Peru. They provide an exceptional service and I feel confident they will make your dreams come true too.

Our trip included the Amazon, an unforgettable hike to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and Cusco, Lima, and Paracas. Every detail was thoughtfully planned with our needs in mind.

The Sacred Valley was a highlight, and the 8-mile, one-day hike to Machu Picchu is an absolute must. Paracas is a surprise .... especially the Nasca lines. Peru is an extraordinary destination, and if you want to experience it at its best, Kuoda is the way to go. We have worked with other travel groups in the past and have often been disappointed—but Kuoda exceeded our expectations in every way.

Kuoda organized for us a 12 days trip to Bolivia including Santa Cruz. Cochabamba, Uyuni Salt Flats, Lake Titicaca and LA Paz. It was a family trip of 4 adults, one of them 70+, the others 40+. Kuoda was very fast and responsive with regard to the suggested trip schedule and our requested amendments. The whole trip was very smooth, all the drivers were great and all the guides were super nice, knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations. We could not have had a better experience in Bolivia.

This trip was amazing. Every detail was attended to and the itinerary was perfect for what we wanted. We experienced so much of Peru and learned a lot about its culture and history. Every staff member was professional, kind, and thoughtful. We cannot recommend Kuoda enough!

This was the second time Kuoda helped me with organizing a trip to Peru. And like the first time, everything was outstanding. Our group consisted of 5 people ranging in age from 30 to 70, all with different wishes. Isabel was able to incorporate all our wishes and created an itinerary that was perfect for the entire group.
