Jane was extremely helpful in giving ideas for a cake design for my wife’s birthday and responded to all messages quickly. Not only was the cake spectacular it was very tasty too. My wife and all the guests thought it was amazing. Would highly recommend anyone wanting a special cake made to order from Lacey Cakes.

The cake Jane made for my mum's 50th Birthday was absolutely fantastic! The design I asked her to create was like no other she had done before, and she did not fail to amaze me. Great attention to detail throughout the cake, from the model of my dog on the top to my mum running up the side of a mountain! Everybody couldn't stop asking where the cake was from and who made it. Thanks again Jane, I will definitely be coming to you for every cake I need.

Jane made me a 90th Birthday Cake for my mum for a surprise party. My mum was thrilled with it as I was. I asked for a chocolate cake and wasn’t disappointed it was very rich and delicious. Most of the guests enjoyed a it too and couldn’t believe how great it looked and tasted. It was made exactly as I wanted and a little extra was added too to finish it off. Jane even delivered it to the venue near by. This is the second special cake I have purchased from Lacey’s cakes and it won’t be my last. Thanks you

Lacey Cakes made us an absolutely beautiful wedding cake. It was even better than we could have imagined. Jane took on board our rough ideas for the cake and added her own touches to make it extra special. The iced flowers in particular were incredible! The choice of flavours at Lacey Cakes was extensive and we struggled to choose between them! In the end we went for carrot & walnut, old English caramel and Cherry Bakewell for the 3 tiers and all 3 were delicious.
Jane was very responsive on emails, which made things really easy to arrange. We also really appreciated her flexibility and kindness when we had to postpone the wedding due to covid and rearrange for a different date.
On the day itself, Jane delivered the cake to the venue and spent time ensuring it looked perfect for when the guests arrived.
We can't thank Lacey Cakes enough for our dream cake! :-)

I’ve used Jane twice before for celebration cakes and so already knew the high quality of her work. She really still managed to wow me though when she made me a Golden Wedding Anniversary cake for my parents. It was absolutely stunning, matched our theme perfectly and tasted divine. Jane puts her heart and soul into her work and it really shows. I won’t use anyone else now I’ve found her! She always delivers on time and her pricing is so competitive. Our Coral Anniversary cake so very pretty and tastes amazing completely surpassed expectations would recommend laceys cakes every day of the week and look forward to finding another occasion to order again.

Jane baked some amazing cupcakes for me which tasted great too. She kept great communication throughout the process despite me contacting from Manchester and trying to get these delivered during a pandemic. The staff at yorkshire ambulance service really enjoyed them, thankyou so much!
