Good atmosphere plenty to do and friendly staff came for bowling but plenty more options around.

Issue with cancellation and refund. Wouldn’t accept any cancellation despite multiple bookings already made and scheduled months ahead.

Went to Lane7 the other night and had a fab time, the place is amazing and the staff was excellent, we had a young blonde girl looking afta us and she was so polite and helpfull, forget her name i think it was Serin.... i was a few Cocktails in. 5*s

Tried to book for a work outing and arranged a call with a member of staff to discuss. They never called, so we followed up and rearranged; again, no call, and the same thing a third time. No apologies, and we had to send multiple emails to even get any response. Eventually, we got a pretty transparent email saying they couldn't get through (after three days of not calling). Do not bother; they have zero customer service and do not care.

There were a few issues during the visit, but the main one was being charged 20p for tap water. I only realised afterwards when I checked my bank account. My cocktail was £12, but the total charge was £12.20, meaning I'd been charged for a glass of tap water.As this is a venue that serves alcohol, I was surprised to see a charge for tap water at all. After spending time in what felt like a very hot bowling alley and basement arcade, charging for something so basic felt unnecessary and left a poor impression.

Jai and Fin were absolutely amazing, made our visit so enjoyable, they were so helpful and accommodating, would definitely go again!! Amazing staff here!

Tried to call up for 4 hours before my booking to let them know all trains had been cancelled and to ask for a refund, only for them to keep hanging up the phone on me once I got through to customer service.
Tried calling AGAIN all day and only just got through to be told I was a no show (even though they never picked up my calls to inform them) and that they don’t do refunds.
Absolute scammers lol, don’t book with them.

Lovely for a first date. There’s lots of stuff to do and it has a really nice vibe overall. Very chill staff too- I wanted to put there names on here but I forgot agh!

The staff were very kind, especially Nicole. She was very attentive and helpful. Had a lot of fun, went for my birthday with my friend and we enjoyed our time! There was a variety of activities you could do. We did: Bowling, Kareoke and the Playground. My favourite was Kareoke!!

Whilst the venue itself was great the after sales customer service from Lane 7 is shocking. After leaving my glasses there is has taken 16 phone calls (over 3 days)and speaking to 4 different people to see if the venue had them. Apparently no-one in Lane 7 can actually speak directly to anyone at the venue??? Having no confidence in the person who told me the venue definitely had not had them handed in, I made the 40 mins journey back to check and found them at the back of the bar. Absolutely shocking after sales customer service

Went with my son and daughter as was celebrating my son’s 16th birthday! From start to finish our experience was terrible, booked to play 3 games, bowling, ping pong and pool , you only get half an hour so one person couldn’t even get a chance to play pool, drinks took 25 mins to arrive. And when I went back to the desk to start our last game I literally stood there for 10 mins with 2 members of staff there and not one of them acknowledged me, absolutely rude and I wouldn’t go back or recommend as it’s literally not worth the money

Extremely disappointing experience at the Leicester site.

The bowling itself was enjoyable, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended.

We paid £23 per person to enjoy bowling, golf and karaoke, but the experience felt rushed from start to finish because each activity was limited to just 30 minutes. The golf course was taking longer than expected due to the pace of play, so I politely asked a member of staff if our karaoke slot could be pushed back slightly to avoid missing part of our booking. Rather than showing any understanding or attempting to help, my request was immediately declined and the staff member responded with an unprofessional attitude. It was a simple and reasonable request that was handled very poorly.

The customer service became even more disappointing when I went to the bar just before our karaoke session. I queued for around 10 minutes without being acknowledged. I then asked the tall member of staff behind the bar if anyone was serving because other customers appeared to be receiving drinks while I was still waiting. His response was dismissive, he mumbled something with an obvious attitude, and I was still left without being served. Being ignored while other customers are being served is unacceptable and made us feel like our custom simply didn’t matter.

For the amount charged, I expected a well-organised experience and professional customer service. Instead, we spent the evening rushing between activities and dealing with staff who seemed unwilling to help and lacked basic customer service skills. Good customer service costs nothing, yet it was completely absent during our visit.

The Leicester site needs to seriously review both its scheduling and the attitude of certain staff members. The bowling was enjoyable, but the poor service and lack of customer care completely overshadowed the visit. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this venue and certainly won’t be returning.

Good fun at Newcastle lane 7. Discount codes work well if you have one !

Wanted to highlight how disappointed I am with my recent experience of Lane 7 Milton Keynes & Lane 7 as a business.

We visited on Thursday evening on a company team night out. All of us really enjoyed the evening & left positive reviews for our host on the evening.

What has left a really sour taste is that when purchasing refreshments on the night we were told they couldn't issue a paper VAT receipt but could supply it via email which seemed reasonable.

After checking the emails received this is clearly a transaction receipt & not the requested VAT receipt. I then thought this wouldn't be an issue & emailed your team to obtain the correct receipt only to be told Lane 7 are not able to issue VAT receipts. This seems to be concerning (& extremely unprofessional) & not something we have ever experienced before from a national business.

Avoid if you want receipts, clearly a tax dodge going on within their business

There were a lot of issues with their fairground games. Only three of the four basket ball hoops worked, so we couldn't play as a four, and we were a group of four.

Playing as a four for the majority of the games was difficult on at least half of the games for several reasons. Either it just didn't seem to accept some of us tapping our cards to play, the game wouldn't track the points, or the specific balls for the game never released or just weren't there.

They really need to have their staff routinely check that the balls are there for each player at the racing game. Even when the balls were there, sometimes the racing game just never moved the piece that represented us.

It would also help if they fixed the issue with the games not syncing all the players when we tapped. It would either only allow two of us or three of us to play any given game. Only the two gun games, the wacka hole game, and once on knocking down the wooden pictures, did we actually get to play as a four, which were significantly less that half of the total games we played.

There are two fairground games businesses in London that our significantly better, where none of these issues exist. I'd advise going there rather than this place

We had a lot of fun and lost a few balls in ping pong Joyce gave us some amazing healing potions ( Icy water) thank u so much!!

Overpriced. Poor customer service. Ridiculous spinning disco balls in your face while trying to bowl. Staff advised its above their pay grade to unplug the disco ball. How very unfortunate.

Amazing experience! Staff were very accommodating, especially Serena, what a wonderful member of staff! Thank you for a lovely night to remember, I will definitely be back 🫶🏻
