The scent is fine. In fact, out of the sample scent sheet that came home with our order- I do believe the quiz helped us find the right sent for us. But that's about where the good impressions stop.

These first several uses have left much to be desired. Laundry shouldn't need a trial and error period, it's laundry. It should be as simple as - fill to this line or one drop/toss-in and go.
Biggest problem is the pods. One pod came in broken and is now breaking down the other pods, slowly but surely. Before I found the broken pod (probably a side effect of shipping), I was wondering why the pods were so sticky, felt slimy and wet. At first I thought it was just a product short coming.
Moreover, I understand the pods are meant to be convenient but because load sizes vary- the amount of pods you need to use does too. As it turns out- this already super expensive laundry sauce (in comparison to other laundry products on the market) is even more expensive when one pod is only meant to do a small load of laundry! So now, one pod will only work for some things while not being enough for others - namely a family's regular size load of laundry. And different loads of laundries for kids and adults, with different fabrics will all cause a different amount of pods to be used. Which I have now had to trial run!
And I figured out - sometimes, all you need is a pod and a half! But where do I save the other half too? Why do I have to specialty plan my laundry day around the use of a pod and a half? Why is this so complicated from my usual way of doing laundry? I do not have time for this!
And while I'm happy the scent is not overwhelming, it's WAY too mild (almost non-existent to be honest) to be of any real interest to me. Especially after it's been sold as a "great smelling laundry!" product. It's more like "meh... Smelling laundry" product.
At the end of the day, add to it the cost of this "special laundry sauce" and you simply DO NOT get anywhere near the value for your dollar, whether a family of five like mine or a single individual.
So far I have no reason to keep the subscription. It would be nice to see these problems fixed and then maybe, we would reconsider it. However, after this first experience, it will be a lot harder to convince us to try it for a second time.

I purchased a membership in May 2025, mostly because the memberships offer free shipping with no minimum order. In June 2025, I knew that I didn’t want to renew my membership because I didn’t need the product so much. I canceled it. In April 2026 I received an email that it was almost time to renew. I emailed laundry sauce on 4/11 and 4/14 telling them that I had canceled my membership and I did not want to continue it. However, when I had gone back through my emails and my orders, I realize that I did not get free shipping on the four orders that I made since June 2025. In other words, I paid for a membership that was for one year and didn’t get the benefit benefits of free shipping. I asked for a response as to why I did not get free shipping on those four orders and also that I did not want to renew my membership. Crickets. No response. I then called them on two separate occasions: 4/18 and 4/25. They don’t answer their phone, but they do have voicemail. I left voicemails referencing the emails that I sent with my email address and my phone number for a return call. Crickets. No response. And guess what happened in May? My membership got renewed. I disputed the charge through PayPal as an unauthorized transaction and PayPal gave me their phone number: 602-688-4251. I called that number and no one answers. It says it is a Google phone. Bottom line: their product is A+, their customer service is F

Just about the best customer service I have ever experienced! Apart from the unique, most beautiful products with an an amazing scent, the customer service is second to none. Phoenix and Ginea in customer service went above and beyond to sort out a difficulty (self-made!) that I had. They couldn't have been more human, understanding and helpful. 10 out of 10 on every level for laundry sauce for sure! Thank you. Anne

I am not even sure how I stumbled on Laundry Sauce but I am happy I did. I am all about 'scents' and particularly when washing my sheets/bedding. I ordered the French Saffron pods/dryer sheets and also ordered the fabric refreshner, all of which smell divine! I did not opt for a subscription, as I am still on the fence with using the detergent on my other laundry as my husband is not into scents at the obsessive level that I am. I will say that the Fabric Refresher spray is my favorite. With two big pups who love to get on the furniture it has helped keep my sofa smelling super fresh.

I’ve tried a lot of laundry pods, and these are easily the best I’ve used. They clean incredibly well, leave absolutely no residue, and my clothes feel fresh every time. The smell is amazing! Clean and long-lasting without being overpowering. I honestly look forward to laundry now because of how good everything comes out.

Laundry Sauce has been a game changer for my laundry routine. Amazing scents and my clothes are less itchy than with my previous detergent

I’ve been using Laundry Sauce detergent pods for a while now, and they clean just as well as Tide pods. I’ve never had an issue getting out food stains — everything comes out looking fresh every time.

The Australian Sandalwood fragrance is easily my favorite. It’s a timeless, smooth scent that leaves my clothes smelling clean, masculine, and refined after every wash. Honestly, it smells so good I almost feel like I don’t even need cologne in the morning.

I love them! I have been a customer for years and LS is my go to gift to friends and family during the holidays.

For me, scent comes first, then cleaning. I purchased the Tuberose Scent Booster because that was all of this scent that was left. I loved it, and it stayed on my towels for weeks. They stopped that scent, so I tried the Mojave Peach laundry pods and Booster, and it was a huge disappointment. 1 pod on towels, nothing. Tried 2 pods, and nothing. When I used 3 pods, it just made my towels smell like strong soap; no peach, no vanilla, no cinnamon, nothing. I had to wash them again using no soap because the strong soap vibe was too much. LS is too high priced for me to be so disappointed. I'm glad so many others have found their scent, but if they do, I'd discourage them from trying a different one because it might not go so well. I have to use them up, but unhappily, and won't be back. Maybe they could send samples of other scents with orders to avoid this? Or maybe I got a bad batch?

As an avid fisherman and jiu-jitsu practitioner, I used to always get complaints from my wife about smelling bad after long days. Since switching to Laundry Sauce, those complaints have disappeared. Clothes come out fresh every time, even after tough training sessions and fishing trips. It’s been a game changer in my house.

Laundry Sauce used some sort of bleach in their pods. It ruined several hundred dollars worth of clothes. I used warm water and have never had issue with tide or gain pods.

I contacted their customer service, and was told "thank you, we will forward this to our r&d team".

No resolution, no offer to help. Now I have to replace several garments because of their detergent.

This product is as advertised! I bought it as a gift for my wife for Valentine’s Day and now it’s all we use… and my mother in law uses it now too. The scents are incredible, we like French Saffron and Siberian Pine most.. but then I also bought Italian bergamot as a fine fragrance and get a ton of compliments. I would definitely suggest getting more than just the pods though so you can decide how scented you want to go with both the dryer sheets and the scent beads. As my mother and law said “I actually look forward to doing my laundry now” .. nice job Laundry Sauce!

Been a customer now for some time. Based of last purchase of Egyptian Rose had awfull perfume smell. Bought for spouse for Christmas. Gave it a shot and wife broke out. No worries will contact an return right? Wrong! Not only do they want you to pay for shipping for a return-) keep in mind 169$ worth of product. It’s an utter fiasco. Have lost costumer!
