Very easy ordering process. Unfortunately the furniture wasn’t right for my room. The return process was straightforward and Chrisharna kept communication going right up until I received my refund. Very good all round service. Delivery men were professional too. Thanks to all concerned.

My order was delivered today and wanted to clarify some information with the customer service. I was pleased with the way the issue was addressed and calmly clarified. The product delivered was 100% perfect as seen on the website.

Great delivery driver ...no complaints with the product and is as described on their website ....shocking customer service and tracking , delivery notifications completely inaccurate and very annoying ...delivery driver was aware of the problem and very apologetic...puts me off using them until they sort their back office out which is a shame as they have some good products

I ordered on the 14th August and was advised delivery would take place between 17-19 August. It is bow the 2nd Sept and no delivery. I phone to chase to be told that the items are in stock but they do not know when delivery will take place. I have told them to cancel the order as no one has a clue what is happening and I doubt this company will survive.

Do not use this company if you want a smooth transaction. Never ever have I dealt with such an incompetent company.
My order 9th Aug was given to be delivered 11-13 Aug as stated on line, was not met. They FORGOT to inform customers they were moving to new warehouse and deliveries wud not be met on time. I only found out on checking on line on 13th as to why no phone call re delivery that delivery had been changed to end Aug-Sep ? No communicatios whatsoever.
On phoning myself only apologises blaming IT was their excuse to lack of communications.
1st date given was not suitable only to see on line I wud have to wait another full week. Nobody seemed competent enough to expedite my delivery sooner as time already waited. Communications lacking in every department. 2nd date given arranged by colleague I spoke on phone, no delivery, no phone call, nothing. On phoning again this seemingly was an error. Should I not of been notified to save my time waiting in?
Spent hours on phone, time waiting, to no avail for solution. Eventually phoned again to speak to supervisor only to be told all at meeting AGAIN. Only when I stated had worked in offices over 60 years I know they were told to lie to me, a supervisor miraculous spoke to me.
I have been totally frustrated and stressed for weeks with this whole situation and at one time even asked for it to be cancelled as I had enough.
I have since received my delivery but was not 100% satisfied with your delivery driver.
How this company runs their business is beyond belief !!

I had a call from Damien in customer services following my further purchase from Laura James. Damien was very polite and offered me a free shipping voucher for my next purchase ( I explained in an email prior to the call after my most recent purchase that this was our 7th purchase from Laura James and we will be purchasing again in the near future). I really appreciate the emails and polite phone calls from Laura James - it gives a company a local feel and gives a personal touch. I also appreciate the gestures for being a regular customer.

Absolutely lovely lady that I spoke to,did everything she could to help with my query.
I even got cut off from the phone call and she rang me back which I really appreciated ,great customer service.
Would definitely order from this company again

Ordered a lovely locker however it was not available within the timeframe I required it, I was dealing with Tracey who was so helpful and efficient, really good sign of a company to facilitate a refund so quickly, would definitely return and use this site after my experience! 5* customer service!!

Jade was firstly very friendly as well as being professional, prompt & efficient in answering all of my questions & advising on the most suitable product to order.

Ordered an outdoor dining set the first week of June, due to be delivered the 1st week of July.
The order was delayed due to stock which was fine then 4 weeks later it’s still not available because they have moved warehouse and now another 4 weeks later they haven’t confirmed the stock.
Most of the staff on the phone have been okay to deal with but one lady was very rude.
Service has been poor as I’ve not received the goods.

Further update since Laura James requested details from my review.
Nothing. No one has reached out or got back to me, the response on this review has been purely to save face for people reading reviews.
I’m now trying to cancel my order and get a refund after 12 weeks of waiting, usually emails are replied to within a few hours at most but now I’ve request a refund I’ve had to wait for an update which they said would be the next day and that never happened and now 4 days later I’m still waiting.

Really has been bad customer service, they have offered me discounts to try and make me happy, but have yet to deliver my product. what would have worked is an actual solution to the issue like a delivery getting booked in or getting the order cancelled and letting me have my money back.

We have a Shiro garden set from Laura James. This is supposed to be made from acacia wood which is more resistant to water. Bearing in mind the exceptionally dry summer we've had (so it's not water damaged), within two months the wooden back rest had sheered and completely broken. On looking at the frame we noticed most of the joints are under stress - it's made by forcing the wood lengths into positions, hence the stress fracture. The wood is soft and I don't think it's going to last another season.
Right at the end of the summer (when it actually rained we found the waterproof cushions aren't waterproof because the seams are rubbish and the zips aren't waterproof so we've ended up with extremely wet foam inners which we're trying to dry out. When we got the foam inners out two cushions seams ripped because they're really badly done. All in all definitely not worth the money.

Terrible customer service from laura james, Failed to inform of a warehouse relocation. This was not reflected on the estimated delivery dates on their site nor was there any indication before placing an order that there may be a delay. 1 month later still no item or even a dispatch notice. When i emailed to cancel my order, was contacted to say item is being prepared completely disregarding my request to cancel.

Damien was very helpful. I was quite abrupt on our first phone call as the service I had received from Laura James prior was disappointing but Damien was very helpful and called me back to update me which I really appreciate. Thank you Damien.
