Didn't get as far as paying
Didn't get as far as paying, but saw it advertised a cease and desist letter as "free". The letter was outdated rubbish as it refers to repealed regulations. It then offers you to download it for £1.89 for a "limited time" with a fake countdown clock that resets when it reaches 0, an illegal practice in itself.
It also warns you in small-ish text, not above the button to pay, that after the week you are signing up for a £34.90 per 28 days. An illegal scam posing as a law site.

Yes, it does say, but it isn't obvious. You only see it if you read the small print, it isn't clearly displayed, and this is after you have already lied about it being free. Add to that the countdown at the top that goes down from 5 minutes then restarts, it is clearly designed to rush people through checkout so they are less likely to see it. Both of these practices are specifically outlawed in the UK. Schedule 20(7) of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, for example specifically bans your timer.
You are criminals, scammers.
Added to this, the draft letter I wasted my time doing is wrong. It threatens the recipients with regulations that have been revoked. It creates a letter that would have the recipient saying "this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. For that money you should be competent, keeping track of changes.

These docs very definitely are NOT FREE!!
Be wary of this website's offer to "create and download free customised legal documents in a matter of minutes with our trusted templates." I got a tenancy agreement through these people and have been very happy with it. But I was surprised when required a payment of £1.59.
Stupidly, I made the payment and then found £34.90 being debited from my credit card monthly until I discovered it today!
Because I gave the company my credit card details, my bank says this isn't fraud!!! The bank blocked further payments for 13 months and suggested I try to request a refund. The debit on my credit card statement is for "LAWDISTRICTUK TENANC". I've never had an email or call from them but an online search found their website: lawdistrict.co.uk I phoned today and the woman answering stopped further charges. I had to ask for a refund for the 4x monthly charges but she did this very promptly.
LESSON LEARNT: I thought I had read the small print but missed that the initial payment was a "subscription" I needed to cancel!!

Unexpected monthly charge.
The form I downloaded was easy to use and at a reasonable cost.
I found I had unknowingly been subscribed to a monthly fee. I hadn't received a welcome email or any order notification and when I contacted the company, Talent Advisers Services Sl, they said they had no record of my order or email address, despite me sending the PayPal receipt, so I'm now disputing the monthly charge with PayPal.
Edit: the number of negative reviews show this is not clearly shown and the lack of change from the seller shows this is deliberate.
I've contacted the seller and despite clearly identifying the payment as via PayPal, and sending my PayPal receipt, the seller has sent several replies to asking for my card number and other basic information about the payment all given in my first email. AVOID.

Beware of Law District
Beware of Law District. You pay a very small fee to download a tenancy agreement and then suddenly find them deducting a much higher monthly fee from your account. Not transparent at all. I wish I’d read these reviews before I’d used them.

I wish I had seen the other reviews - TOTAL SCAM.
Law District trick you into thinking you are paying a small fee for a single form - but retain your bank details and hide the subscription detailks wayyy down in the email when they send with your downloaded document. Not transparent at ALL - which I note they have tried to claim inprevious responses. They don't send a heads-up email before bleeding your account for an extortionate 'subscription'. Disgraceful, fraudulent site.
