Fiona firstly didn’t contact us for the first week after we engaged her and then incorrectly told the other parties solicitor that we required a finance extension when we had already had our Finance accepted. This significantly jeopardised the purchase. She said she tried to contact us but we had absolutely no missed calls from her or any Queensland number.
She sent the wrong forms, even though we said it was an investment property multiple times.
On settlement day (just hours before settlement) she asked us for a client authorisation form which we had already provided to her three weeks ago. I have never given a one star for any review for anything but yeah, we won’t be going back.

We used Lead Conveyancing to settle our off-the plan apartment purchase in Malvern, Victoria. They were very helpful and responsive throughout the process. There was a slight hiccup at the start of the settlement process which was partly the fault of the vendor solicitor but with the help of one of Lead Conveyancing's staff Tracey Lawrence, we were able to get back on track and settle on time. Despite the tight timeline, she was very calm, communicated very well and helped us throughout the process. She was also very thorough and persevered in resolving a stamp duty concession issue we had with the State Revenue Office (SRO) which resulted in us saving a lot of money in stamp duty. We are very grateful to her. She's a very trustworthy, smart and reliable staff member and I would definitely use her services again.

We dealt with Tracy Lawrence for our settlement and it was a pleasant and smooth experience. Tracy was detailed with her communication and clear with obligations and expectations to ensure a smooth settlement. We had no issues at all. Would recommend and reconsider Lead Conveyancing for future property matters.

Nothing of major concern. The outcomes were all met as expected, and price is competitive. My negatives relate to a few instances where communication needed to be duplicated (eg in engaging services or checking work), or matters were transferred back on to us to complete. But it would perhaps be unreasonable to expect a higher standard without paying more.

We used lead conveyancing in our mothers estate sale and they set a settlement date two weeks out, the day before settlement they said they weren’t ready. When our estate lawyers and bank were all ready to go. All other parties were dumbfounded as to why they didn’t proceed with settlement and caused us yet another delay. Estates are difficult enough to settle and thus team caused us yet another delay for absolutely no reason. Wouldn’t recommend them.

Availability and helpful information & assistance from staff made the experience of purchasing the house a positive experience. Fiona Lewis was always available to answer any enquiries i had along the way ensuring a smooth transition. Communication was important in this and I received continual updates along the way . I will use Lead in conveyancing and recommend them in the future. Thank you greatly for an effortless transition.

Absolute worst experience!
NOT Based in Australia as far as I can ascertain.
Conveyancer did not present our Settlement date, although they confirmed multiple times via email that it was agreed to by the vendor!
Lack of communication, missed deadline, misrepresentation.
We have lodged a complaint and claim against the company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
