We can't thank Legacy Pets in Bury for their kindness, help and support at one of the hardest times in our life.
From taking our beautiful little dog to picking her ashes up, everything went so smoothly.
Tilly was treated to dignity and respect and was returned to us within 48 hours.
Fantastic service and cannot fault a brilliant company.

It's been a while since I've been able to Write this review. I found them on a Google search when my boy was telling me he was coming to the end of his life.. Legacy pets were so patient, understanding, supportive and there whenever I needed to call and set my day for them to come and help ease my boys pain. their Aftercare too was incredible. The most painful experience I have ever had in my life was having to say goodbye to my boy.. But Legacy Pets really helped in every way. Thank you. Thank you.

Amazing in every way from being on the phone to face to face absolutely fantastic made a sad time beautiful wonderful staff, beautiful place I know my lady Rosabaya was very well looked after and cared for untill I brought her home xxxx

At every stage of this very traumatic process, the team at Legacy gave outstanding compassionate service. The office team, the collection/ return driver and the kind vet who helped us through the last minutes were all brilliant. Our little cat could not have had a more peaceful last few minutes.
The level of efficiency could not be faulted and their assurances to be prompt and sensitive with the cremation were more than warranted.
I can only offer my sincerest thanks.

I cannot recommend Legacy Pets highly enough. I lost my beautiful baby last week and they made the saddest time of my life more bearable. Ian the kind gentle man who came for my baby was amazing and stayed talking to me and didn’t rush me at all. Ian also brought my baby home and again stayed and talked to me. He completely understood what I was going through and I knew my baby was in the kindest safest hands. All the ladies I spoke with too from my first call when I could hardly talk were so caring and understanding. I cannot thank you all enough and have my precious baby home in a beautiful sleeping cat.

Wow, what a business. Unfortunately, initial contact is usually in your hour/s of need, yet John and Markus make this hour of need so much more manageable. John answered the phone straight away, listened to me and supported me. I am not sure I can properly put into words how his dealings made my hour of need so much easier. Markus, we met where we left our beloved dog, he was so lovely, kind and patient with us. The room is absolutely gorgeous and importantly, I knew my dog would be in the best care throughout the whole process.

I cannot recommend Legacy enough to anyone who unfortunately looses a pet, but rest assured, you will feel that your pet is so so so so loved and looked after in their care.

the time had come to let our staffy be at peace.shed just turned 16 ,1 october.georgie.had a great life with the kids then more with me hiking all over.john tunred up,myself and mam were obviously a mess very upset.he was so nice talked us through everything,but he just chilled us out he made the hole experience really nice.THANKYOU MATE.then another john was waiting to collect our girl.he was great,talked about his pets and what was going to happen to our georgie next.then she was gone.he called me soon after to just say they had arived safely.THANKYOU MATE.then the girls from the shop called me to check the details of what i wanted for our girls remains.so helpful.the call came and i went to collect her.it was lovley sat with me chating about our girl.THANKYOU. now i have some fur and ashes with me so once again were together hiking..THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH IT WAS PURFECT..REECE and DOREEN mi mum xx

We lost our 26 year old cat lem on 12/10/24 . Legacy pets were amazing and highly professional . John came to collect my little lady and was so lovely asked all about her life and why she was called Lem . John called me when Lem arrived back at legacy pets to say how she was and what a beautiful colour her coat was and was lovely when I got upset . My girl was also delivered home with paw prints , ashes and fur as an extra . A beautiful experience and I do highly recommend . My girl was so very respected throughout . ❤️

This place is really amazing in every way possible, The staff are brilliant and are professional at all times.
We lost our fur baby on 22/10/2024 and Legacy Pets drove to our vets in Bolton to collect our baby and the next day we got to pay our final respects in the chapel of rest which we needed.
When we got there we was so amazed at the layout and how peaceful our charlie looked they really took excellent care of him. We collected his ashes within 48 hours from the store in Bury which was beautiful, We have never heard about this company before but we are so glad we did and they looked after charlie. Highly recommened and could not thank you enough.

Legacy pets have been amazing, we took the horribly hard decision to let our beloved girl cross the rainbow bridge. They organised everything from start to finish, with kindness, care and compassion.
The lady vet ( sadly don't know her name) was beyond superb, she gave us time to say goodbye, was kind and attentive to our Tai and supported us through the whole experience. As was the care team member that attended shortly after to take our girl away.
I can't thank them all enough.

From the first point of contacting Legacy Pets we were and have been treated with dignity and respect in such a professional manner. They showed true compassion at a time when we were grieving the loss of our French bulldog Troy. We also loved how we got to see our beloved pet in their Chapel of Rest which is a really nice touch in beautiful surroundings.
Also the packages they offer are superb... we now have our boy back at home with us at pride of place and cannot thank the whole team enough for all their hard work and dedication. Thank you Legacy Pets. 🐾🐕🌈🙏

All of the staff at Legacy Pet Cremation showed great compassion & empathy as they dealt with my beloved Charlie. They were friendly, efficient, professional, yet dignified & were reassuring about how he would be dealt with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any bereaved pet owner.

Cannot praise this company enough from arranging my Jacks home euthanasia too him being brought back home. The first phone call was done with compassion, Charlie the vet was outstanding, Chris who picked Jack up and the lady who brought him home. Thank each and everyone of you ❤️

Where do I start. Legacy pets are amazing from the first phone call to bringing our beloved dog mylo back home. They went above and beyond each and everyone we dealt with. Everyone was so compassionate it made us feel our beloved mylo was being looked after very well. Legacy kept us up to date with every step.

My beautiful girl was a very poorly girl and legacy pets organised home euthanasia, which for me was the only way I wanted her to go, in her own home, on her own bed, with everything familiar around her, then they collected her, and she was treated with as much care by them as I had given her throughout her life,
I wouldn't choose another place to send my girl on her final journey, such absolute love and care given to her, you can tell they do what they do out of love, it shows..she is now back home with me where she belongs, couldn't recommend legacy pets enough thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We sadly lost our cat Bonnie 12 months ago today and we have been reflecting on the treatment she received during her battle with cancer over the final weeks and months of her life.

Legacy Pets worked in a seamless way with our home visit vet Pets Relaxed, and it seemed that just moments after Bonnie passed Legacy Pets were there ready, however we were not rushed during any part of the process. They made sure they waited outside until we were ready.

Collection of Bonnie for the cremation was compassionate, caring and deeply considerate. Bonnie was allowed to be transported wrapped in her own bedding, and we were even allowed to request certain music to be played during the cremation. They also reassured us that Bonnie would remain in their chapel of rest and her favourite music played while she stayed with them.

Timeframes for the whole process was excellent, and Bonnie was back with us within days, in an urn of our choosing, accompanied with a beautiful candle, a heartfelt note, and bereavement support for ourselves.

Communication was excellent the whole time, and Legacy Pets made the emotional and traumatic process as easy and dignified as possible.

It also made such a big difference that Bonnie would be cremated on her own, and not with other animals, as some cremation services apparently do.

We were deeply thankful to Legacy Pets for their compassion, care, and dignified manner, and we could not recommend them highly enough.

Very Compatant from start to end. The vet was very caring. my two boys passed peacefully they had no idea what was happening. If you love your pets this is the way to say goodbye to them no doubt. Mis them but glad they have gone to rest like this thank you Legacy pets xxx

The whole process of collecting my dog for cremation and returning his ashes, was extremely efficient. However I need to mention that within three hours of my pet being euthanized, I had a phone call from Legacy Pets. I found this intrusion on my grief too pressurised. Surely a message, sent first would have warned me.
Although the services are efficient, they didn't comfort me. Nobody even offered their condolences , next day when I had to ring. I feel the whole process was rushed.
