Avoid poor quality and no support
Bike initially seemed great , front light stopped working first week, around a month ago had to take stand off as crank was hitting ?, Now the bike only purchased in August is no good due to 8 spokes sudely popping/ snapping in rear wheel. Tried in vain to contact Leon by email and FB but they just totally ignore ... Looks like I need to get leagal assistance to get a refund due to bike not fit for purpose under law

We purchased 2 NCM e- bikes a Milano for me, and a Moscow for Mike, the bikes where delivered in excellent time (about 5 working days) they came of course via Leon Cycles UK distribution. We received a phone call to say the delivery company was outside the house, fortunately I was less than 5 mins away at the local shops, so flew round to meet delivery person.
We unpacked bikes that evening, put them together with relative ease, now my bike had a faulty front light and a little scratch on the parcel carrier (unnoticeable really) but Leon Cycles immediately made arrangements for a new light to be shipped to us, and a £20.00 refund for the scratch, we where more than happy with that, dealt with Laura at Leon who's customer service we both felt was outstanding across the board. Communication was swift, usually by return and kept informed throughout.
Been out on the bikes 3 times since we have had them, and can honestly say we are delighted with the bikes and there performance, would not hesitate to recommend NCM e-bikes and also Leon Cycles UK, who have been very approachable and very helpful.

Wow!
Wow! Bike -the Milano plus - arrived after just two days of being ordered. Bike was easily set up, with brakes and gears perfectly pre-set. I’ve been on two trips out and it’s a cracking bike. Excellent power when required and so easy to ride even with no power. Should have bought this years ago.

Bike Arrived - It's Great!
I'm unfortunately writing this review to try to prompt a response from Leon Cycle.
I ordered a Venice Plus on the 29th Dec. Payment went out immediately and my item was marked as dispatched on the same day. Great I thought, I should get my bike early in the New Year.
I appreciate that I ordered over the holiday period so I was expecting a little bit of a delivery delay but, how difficult can it be to keep your customers informed of progress?
As others have mentioned on here, contacting Leon Cycle is next to impossible. I just hope that when (if) I get my bike that all is OK and don't need parts or have an issue etc.
I have no problem if there is a supply or delivery issue, but please just update your customers.

I have been advised that a bike will be dispatched to me this week. I'll keep updating here.
Update 26-01-2022
Bike arrived on the 21st - obviously very pleased but tracking was non-existent. Luckily, I was at home when the delivery arrived.
The bike itself is fantastic. Pretty much ridable out-of-the-box with just the handlebars and seat to assemble. Build quality is excellent and I have ridden the bike to work for 3 days and have to say I am very impressed.
1-star off for the initial communication issue, but other than that I recommend these bikes and Leon Cycle.

My bike arrived in the new year
My bike arrived in the new year, tracking not shown, emailed Leon cycles, they responded within reasonable time, to let me know that they were having problems with tracking. Overall the service from them so far has been very good. The bike arrived we’ll packaged, and is what I consider to be of good quality. I’m more than happy. Just need some good weather now. Lol

Very Unhappy
I purchased an ncm Paris bike from this company in mid October and received bike no problem.On opening the box, the bike had a tear on a leather handle ,scuff marks in several places and was quite dirty.I wouldn’t say it was used,it looked like it was a shop floor demonstration model and didn’t look new.On complaining about this,telling them it was a birthday present,they offered me £40 off.On refusal, they offered me 80 euros?.By this time the bike was actually on sale £120 cheaper than I paid for it!
Eventually they agreed to replace bike after threatening them with legal action.The damaged bike was collected and with no communication,7 days later having received the bike ,Dpm tracking,I was left to email them to find out what was happening.There was no reply to my email until I threatened to contact my credit card company for recompense.Of course they then reply within 5 minutes to say they will create a “new order” on their system.This online company has a severe lack of communication and this is ongoing.Needless to say I would not recommend them to anyone.I hope I get this bike or my money back.

UK customers will not be sent parts since Brexit
The bike is fine but now when parts need replaced since brexit I have been told that the UK is bottom of the pile and they have no intention of sending parts. When asked to escalate to the complaints department I was told they do not have a complaints department! I was told word for word in email "The general situation is well-known with management and recourses are deliberately set by management the way they are." Basically if you are in the UK do not buy from this company!! I paid with credit card so am no claiming Section 75 via my credit card to get a refund. Shocking service.

Needs improvement, not a bad company.
My experience with Leon Cycles was far from positive, but credit where credit is due.
They weren’t easy to get a hold of, but once you’ve got them it’s worth chatting to them on the phone to get things resolved.
They’re not a bad company at all, but they do need to look into tweaking certain weak points. But on the whole, they helped me and I’m very happy with the bike I purchased albeit from another company.

Excellent aftersales service.
The after sales service from leon cycles is second to none. Any e-mail I have sent asking about various things on my NCM Milano have been replied promptly.
Dante is most helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. Having done 5000 miles now I find my battery is not just lasting as long. Enquired about it Dante was most helpful and gave me a link to order one and 2 days later it was on my doorstep. You cannot get better than that. Thank You.

Purchase an NCM Moscow + last month and…
Purchase an NCM Moscow + last month and very happy with the bike and the speedy delivery. I am now purchasing another through a Govt grant scheme and Dante has been extremely helpful and efficient in dealing with my requests for quotes etc - even phoned me from Spain to discuss and make sure that everything was as I wanted. Great customer service and can't praise him high enough!

NCM Moscow Plus issue/Great Customer Service.
Purchased a NCM Moscow plus which I was very pleased with. After 6 weeks I had a noise from the crank area. Contacted Leon Cycles and suggested I take the bike to a local repair shop and Dante agreed to cover the cost of repairs. The noise was found to be a bearing on the bottom bracket. A new one was fitted and I sent the invoice via email to Dante. Payment was received the next day. Very happy with the Customer Service. Hopefully there will be no further issues with the bike.

Impossible to contact
Impossible to contact, no phone number and emails all returned from postmaster.
I have an NCM prauge that I have now owned for 18 months, the company changed the battery for me after purchasing but I would still be surprised if it made 20 miles distance.
I would like to purchase a Moscow + but am afraid to let the money go as I'm no longer sure how safe the site is.
Can anyone advise or suggest please?

Excellent delivery but contact details need improving
Excellent delivery - placed my order on Sunday and my bike arrived on Tuesday. Upon unpacking, there was a problem with the mudguards which were damaged in transit. I then set about trying to make contact with Leoncycle! No telephone number supplied so I sent an email with photos of the damage, only to receive a message from the email postmaster saying there was no such address. Tried several more attempts using .co.uk and .com addresses but still got them all rejected by the postmaster. Panic started setting in - with no telephone and no email how was I to get in touch??!!
Then, whilst still trying, Dante called (from Barcelona). Despite the postmaster messages, two of my emails had made it through the ether. Dante immediately arranged for a replacement mudgard to be sent and also arranged a small refund for an issue with the seat-post. Excellent service.
My wife has subsequently taken the bike (Paris +) for a ride and is delighted with it. Quality bike.
Leon Cycle, you need to confirm a telephone contact number; in these days of scams, clients need to be reassured that contact can be made.

Bought an NCM Prague from Leon Cycle in…
Bought an NCM Prague from Leon Cycle in Hanover in June 2020. It arrived very quickly - two days! For the price, a very good bike made with good quality components. The best value e-bike I have seen.
Starting only about 6-weeks after receiving the bike, I had problems with the battery supplied with the bike. It would cut out when the display was showing that it still had >2 bars of charge and this got progressively worse until the battery just didn't work at all - it would cut out almost immediately on starting to ride.
Leon Cycle gave me an RM number in February 2021 but no replacement battery was supplied until yesterday - 21st June 2021 - nearly 4 months later!
However, I understand that they have had difficulties due to "brexit" and also the corona-virus pandemic.
I was eventually contacted by Dante for the UK branch of Leon Cycle and a replacement battery arrived within a couple of weeks so no complaints there . . .
Generally very happy with the bike and in the current circumstances I understand the problems for Leon Cycle that caused the delay in replacing the battery.

The good, the bad and the patient..
Initial service was good with a prompt delivery. However the bike arrived with a faulty battery. 5 weeks and several emails later a replacement arrived.(My patience was kept in check by Dante, who tried to talk my through the checks and dealt with my case the best he could). This seems to has solved the problem. After 1 ride I write this, the bike performed as well as expected, generates good power and as long as I have no further problems it will probably be good value for money.
Nice looking bike, well packaged, a bit heavier than some. If this battery problem has now been resolved by NCM then I'd recommend the bike!?
