Très bonne formation sur le bootcamp Data Science.

J’ai suivi la formation Data chez Le Wagon et ce fut une expérience très enrichissante. Le programme est intense mais très bien structuré, ce qui permet d’apprendre rapidement des outils essentiels de l’analyse de données comme SQL, Python et la data visualisation.

Les enseignants et les assistants sont très disponibles et pédagogues. Ils prennent le temps d’expliquer les concepts et de nous aider lorsque nous rencontrons des difficultés. L’ambiance est également très collaborative : on apprend beaucoup en travaillant avec les autres étudiants.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié les projets pratiques qui permettent de mettre en application les compétences acquises. Cela aide vraiment à construire un portfolio et à se sentir plus confiant pour la suite, notamment pour rechercher un poste dans la data.

Je recommande cette formation à toute personne souhaitant se reconvertir ou développer des compétences solides en data analyse.

I took the 1 week intense Data Basics course and it's a must-do. Get a better understanding of data principles.

Beware of enrolling on the Web Development bootcamp, or any bootcamp in fact, if you are a complete beginner. Despite the publicity and sales stating that the course is suitable for beginners, what constitutes a 'beginner' may be open to interpretation.

If you have no experience of programming and web technology, it may be difficult for you to keep up with the pace of the course and understand the concepts behind what is happening on screen. It may be difficult to learn, say, Ruby, in just a week, before moving onto the next subject.

The most successful people on my intake already had programming knowledge in languages like Javascript, Python, SQL, Java or PHP. The purpose of the bootcamp for them was to learn the nuances of things like Ruby, Rails and other techniques like scraping and AI, and to build a working website which incorpates these things.

If you are a complete beginner, I would suggest learning web development and a language like Python or Java at your own pace first, with a course like Codecademy. After completion you should be ready to take on the intensity of a boot camp. At the end of the day, it is a 'website building bootcamp' (assuming you already have an underlying understanding of the concepts already), rather than a 'learn programming' course, which requires more time for you to assimilate concepts and practice them. Spend your money wisely.
