Alex installed a heat pump and radiators for us. He was very knowledgable about heat pumps. We were completely renovating a house and he was very flexible, working with the builder, plumber and electrician and fitting in with our scheduling as best he could. His team's work was of a high standard and Alex made sure the pipework looked as good as possible.

Alex from libtek came and fitted an air source pump for me , very neat job , very knowledgeable about the working of the pump , saved us loads of money , very satisfied and would happily recommend to anyone

Alex fitted a new boiler, thermostat & some radiators, including a full system flush & balance. He explained all my options to me and throughout the fitting was professional, tidy and a great communicator. He was on hand for any follow up questions or advice and I will definitely use him again should I need. Thoroughly recommend!

Most satisfied with their work in replacing our old gas boiler and hot water cylinder. The job was completed promptly and tidily. We found Libtek via Heat Geek. After a detailed heat loss survey, Alex and his team installed a Vaillant Arotherm air source heat pump (ASHP) system in December 2023 with a bespoke Newark cylinder and Level 3 heat pump monitoring bundle from OpenEnergyMonitor. The system has been performing brilliantly, regularly achieving COPs of 4/5. We would have no hesitation in recommending Alex/Libtek.

We selected Alex and Libtek to help us through the journey to an Air Source Heat Pump in a 1930’s solid wall bungalow. A heat loss assessment was completed with advice and the reassurance that they have been through numerous training programs, including Heat Geek and their installations feature extensively in the Open Energy Monitoring table, for high coefficient of performance (COP). Our heat pump is currently working at 440% efficiency that is for every unit of electricity it uses, it produces 4.4 units of heat output. Our previous boiler would have been at 80-90% efficient. We required radiator changes to work with low temperature heating design, which were researched, sourced and fitted. We selected a Viessmann Vitocal 150, as we had had a boiler by this manufacturer and their performance data appears positive. The installation, help with application for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant of £7,500, attention to detail and aftercare have been nothing short of outstanding. The house has never been so comfortable, as it is on 24/7 and seems to be significantly cheaper than gas. I highly recommend contacting Alex and his team to discuss how you can make the transition to air source heat pump technology.

Libtek have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They were professional & always happy to answer questions, even weeks after the project was finished. They stuck to the schedule & quotation, despite some unusual demands due to our Victorian property. I could not recommend this 2-man-team more wholeheartedly.
