Do not touch this company last year I was away in Europe when I took policy out I asked them if they wanted proof of no claims and activated tracker they told me they could do this check up because I was still with highways the previous year they never phoned me asking for proof the first we knew about it was when we returned from Europe there was a letter stating that they had cancelled policy without even phoning me although they had my phone number is phoned lifesure and said you had me driving all the way home with no insurance cover there answer was don't worry about it this week in Europe again phoned R.A.C breakdown European assist that was paid through lifesure European assist said they had nothing on computer saying we had cover phoned calls for 48 hrs between lifesure and R.AC European assist still don't know what is happening being pushed from pillar to post

I've been with Lifesure for over 20 years insuring my parkhome and had to make a claim which was easy and straighforward, it was also pleasing to see my premium didnt shoot through the roof. I am not sure why they have score so low on here but Feefo seems to have a lot of good reviews so I am happy, as they say you dont know how good and insurer is until you have to claim.

Had to cancel my motorhome policy as we had sold the vehicle. On explaining that we would be getting a new one but couldn’t pick it up for 2 months I was told that they couldn’t put the insurance on hold to transfer it over and it would have to be cancelled. Having only had the Policy for 3 months I was expecting to get at least half of the annual amount back that had been paid.
But no - I was hit with extortionate cancellation fees which resulted in a minimal refund of a third of the annual policy.
The extortionate fee took them all of 30 seconds to cancel the policy and send an email confirming the cancellation and would I be kind enough to recommend them to friends and family …. absolutely not !!

16th Aug …… Still waiting for someone to come back to me !! Guess no one at LifeSure wants to assist customers.

I am writing to express my disapointment regarding the recent cancellation of my policy without proper notice or explanation. last week, I contacted your office to clarify the terms of my cover while my van was overseas in Spain. I was informed that the overseas cover was coming to an end and that someone would look into my options and get back to me. Unfortunately, I never received a follow-up.
Today, I discovere, purely by chance,that my policy had been cancelled, as I found an email in my spam folder. There was no prior phone call, written explanation, or formal notice to confirm this action or offer alternatives. This lack of communication is extremely disappointing, especially given that I have been a loyal customer for several years. When i called and spojke to Lifsures agent he claimed he had called me the same day the cancel;ation letter had come out but there is no missed calls on my call log on the said day.
The enquiry was handled by a representative named Ryan Cottam. When I spoke to him, he did not seem to acknowledge any issue with the way this was handled, nor the failure to properly inform me of the cancellation.
At the very least, I would have expected a courtesy call or written explanation before terminating a long-standing policy.
I would appreciate a written response clarifying:
Why the policy was cancelled without direct notification
Why I received no follow-up after being told options would be reviewed
What steps Lifesure is taking to ensure better communication with loyal customers in the future

I can't understand why this company has so many negative reviews. I am on my second year with them and have so far been very impressed with the service I have received. Excellent manner from the staff and have helped me so much. I tried a competitor and had a terrible experience with them. . . they are a market leader apparently. I was straight back to Lifesure without hesitation and I will now stick with them. Excellent price for my campervan and very easy to set up. I have no trouble recommending Lifesure especially for camper vans.

Following my previous review of Lifesure approx one Month ago, I responded to lifesure and gave them my full complaint details.
I was contacted by the Lifesure "customer service champion" who emailed me to assure me someone from her office would contact me.
4 weeks later.....nothing.
Draw your own conclusions!
I think they are now owned by JD Gallagher ins.
Maybe I should inform them. They seem to get great reviews.

Having been with this company for years and having made no claims, this year my park home buildings cover was reduced from £250k to £80k purely because of its age. In the event of a claim this would have left me under -insured as there is no way £80k would cover the removal of the old unit, clean up of the pitch and a replacement unit, reconnection etc and Lifesure know this. Despite reducing my cover amount by almost 80% they were still expecting me to pay the same premium.
So park home insurance that wouldn't actually cover replacing your home if the worse should happen. AVOID.
In response to your reply: I found two park home insurers who offered £250K cover for approximately the same premium as your renewal, and I have insured with one of them. To expect me to pay the same premium as I did last year for a massively reduced and inadequate level of cover and then say if I pay even more you would cover it for an appropriate amount does you no favours.

Put a claim in on the 3/3/25 for condemned boiler Carmel told us to carry on with works and it was unlikely a site visit would be necessary, 5 weeks later we receive a response for the first time stating site visit required. Absolute shambles don’t bother

Cancelled insurance on caravan after selling up, had the policy one month got £125 back from £253 expensive one months policy, total rip off, dread to think what they like in a claim, go elsewhere AVOID

After 15 years being covered, I had to claim for £260 worth of freezer contents loss
In return my premium went up 218%
On challenging this, I was offered to return my claim payout and they would drop the renewal, which was not as much as I’d have given them back making the new renewal price 178% more than last year
Complaining was fruitless as it’s passed down the line to AXA
Time to move on and found a better deal than last year with ANOther even having informed them of the recent claim
Shame on you and AXA

Then offered to call me back later in the day after my making more enquiries elsewhere. True to his word he called me back answered some questions I had picked up on his email that he had sent me after our initial conversation and was very professional and made me feel at ease hence he achieved receiving my business.
Cannot fault Jamie or Lifesure so far 👍 5*

Unfortunately not able to give the 0 star review they deserve. After 4 years of cover I cancelled as the vehicle was sold. Cancellation cost etc are loaded to the point where 10 weeks left on the policy less than £10 was to be refunded. I was requested to provide a full bank statement with no transactions shown to reveive this. Attitude by the person at lifesure was a joke. Stay away and do not use.

Absolutely Appalling Company
These people are just a broker and not an insurance company ,Will pass you from pillar to post when there is an issue .
Make sure when taking out caravan insurance new for old that you find out and put in the price of a NEW van even though the on line form didn’t state that , When claim made wiggled there way out of it and I lost over £7000 . When complained got he “it’s in the terms and conditions “and we have done nothing wrong .

I have insured my car with Lifesure for upwards of 30 years (this firm was originally recommended by a car enthusiast's club). I understand that they are a broker so they will look for the best deal; premiums have always been reasonable and fair. I have never felt pressured by staff, who have always been courteous and helpful. I had to make a no-fault claim in 2018 and although it took some time to provide a replacement courtesy vehicle during repair this was not due to Lifesure. They handled my claim with transparency and support. Since then I have continued to have good service from Lifesure. I understand that a company restructure is due soon, so I can only hope that my experience continues as well as it has.

Had to cancel my policy early because i was moving home, phoned Lifesure to explain this and i was promised that a rebate of £54 was due to me because of early cancellation. I am still waiting since the 18/08/2024 .
Dont recommend this company to anyone.
