We have sold our caravan so, therefore, no longer need insurance for it. They want £79.00 cancellation fee!!!!!!
How?why?what??? seriously. This is disgusting and, going on other reviews on here, we are not alone. Surely this cannot be legal, its definitely immoral. Any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. For anyone looking for caravan insurance DO NOT USE LIFESURE

I had insurance with life sure on a motorhome.When I part exchanged it I said the private plate was going on my new motorhome. They changed me to change the vehicle details, and then again when the private plate was put on a few days later.what a rip off. I wouldn’t use lifesure again.

I've been a customer for 7 years and have generally received decent service but the reason for 2 stars is that I recently had to sell my caravan (insured product) to pay bills due to Covid and there was 3 months of policy remaining. They would not refund any outstanding premium AND charged me £27.50 for the privilege of them clicking a button. When I wouldn't pay (waiting for refund) they charged me another £30 and sent threatening letters!
A family-owned but very unsympathetic company that only support you in the "good" times.

Lifesure are just Brokers, It doesn't matter whether they have 1* or 5*'s. On making a claim they pass you off to the Insurance Company.. For the Lifesure policy my insurance is with ARGENTA so when taking out insurance check which Insurer is backing your policy. You won't find any reviews for Argenta? I can advise the offer from Argenta Loss Adjusters was derisory based on Glass' Guide which in today's heated caravan market is irrelevant. Just after damage our policy was due for renewal, within 12 hours of making a claim our renewal policy price was trebled!!! And our claim was a no fault claim our caravan damaged by a 3rd party fire when it was parked and secured. My advice look carefully at who is actually backing your insurance and do not just go for the cheapest and you must ready the policy document as you will be surprised what it contains.

I wish I read these reviews before dealing with this company!

Needed to cancel my policy and it has so far taken them in excess of 7 weeks to process a refund and I am told it could be another 7 working days until I receive the funds. It seems their complaints department is just there to finally deal with the request I have already requested.

Quick to take the money but not so quick to refund...2 or 3 weeks possibly but 7+ weeks?! Will never deal with again!

All good until you come to make a claim and then they back track like anything. Don’t go anywhere near them. I was given a policy that was not fit for purpose even though I gave them all the right information. If you have to deal with a company that requires you to check this level of small print then think again about giving them your business.

Would never insure through them again. Charged me a £96 cancellation fee as they said they would not recover the money from the insurers. Strange as this is the same figure as others have commented on.

I am only giving them 1 star because there aren't any lower ratings....I sold my caravan and cancelled the caravan insurance, they said I owed £37.99 to end the account...I am on holiday so I cant pay it straight away, so they send me an email to say they will send me a solicitors letter if I don't pay now.....they must be desperate for money if they want to take me to court for £37.99...I have never claimed from them yet they treat me like this....I wont be recommending anyone to this company !!!
