Absolutely amazing, one if my mates recommended this guys after he took his licence within 1 month.
I have to say hand on heart that they have been absolutely amazing, from acomodating my needs and availabilities to they way that they boosted my confidence. I did my CBT with Adam in Oxford, great guy, really helpful and then I went on to take my Full Licence with Ricky, he is an absolute monster of a guy when it comes to teaching, so calm and relaxed, so much fun we had in all the training days.
Definitely recommend them.
P.S: Of course I passed my mod 1 and 2 first time..they are just so good! Cheers guys!

After researching different motorcycle traing centres I decided to undertake my training for a full cat A licence though lightning motorcycle training (Wembley branch) from day 1 they have been amazing, extremely helpful getting sessions booked in around my work commitments. I had the pleasure of being taught by 3 different instructors (Keith, Andrew, dan) all of them are great instructors, they are extremely knowledgeable and there training skills helped me to acheive a pass today. I cannot thank them enough. I would recommend lightning to anyone who is looking to do motorcycle training.

Great team at Lightning Motorcylce Training in Stourbridge. Very patient, knowledgeable no nonsense training. Good venue, great bikes (new Honda Hornets), superb instruction all the way from CBT to Mod2, very accommodating timings.
Highly recommend all of my instructors. I was concerned about having different instructors but there was no need to be, all are exceptional and really do want to get you through.

I just done my CBT today with Cole and just wanna say a big thanks to him. Had an excellent day. He made sure that everyone understood all the modules and if any doubt, he took the time to explain it again. It was very easy to get on with and overall made it a very pleasant day! Recently went through the full licence process with the team from Wembley and only good things to say. Passed Mod 1 and 2 on first attempts guided by a very knowledgable and committed team. Special thanks to Dave who provided a good chunk of my lessons.

Thank you lightning training, I have now got my full A licence.
CBT was done by Simon, great guy very informative.
Mod 1 training was done by Keith, lots to say for himself, you’ll never be better than him, EVER.
Mod1 test was passed with Jerry didn’t get much mod 2 training in as the ride was over to Leighton buzzard so was straight there and back as was over an hour ride but was a nice ride.
Mod 2 training done by Keith but I did another training session as test was being done in Oxford and that was with a guy called Andrew was by far the funniest guy great banter and jokes.
Mod 2 test (first attempt) with Ricky again great instructor.
Final attempt at mod 2 with I think Richard might be wrong but again great instructor.
Thanks again everyone, great value for money apart from if you have to retest so don’t fail the first time 🤣.
Will look at booking an advanced course at some point.

Brilliant team of people very nice to talk to and very approachable, I went though my a2 restricted licence doing my cbt, mod1 and mod2, just passed mod 2 today with Ricky as my instructor.
Couldn’t fault the team at all very good and as well as teaching you how to do everything you need they also help you with your nerves, highly recommend!

I recently completed my motorcycle training at Lightning Motorcycle Training School and could not be happier with the experience. From my initial CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) to passing my MOD1 and MOD2 tests, the entire process was exceptionally well-organized and supportive. CBT Training with Rob
Starting with the CBT, Rob was my instructor. His patience and clear instruction made all the difference. He broke down the fundamentals in a way that was easy to understand, ensuring that even beginners felt confident and safe on the road. MOD1 Training with Jerry
For my MOD1 (Module 1) training, Jerry was an incredible guide. He has a unique ability to calm nerves while keeping the sessions challenging and engaging. Thanks to his methodical approach, I passed my MOD1 test with flying colours.

MOD2 Training with Jerry/Ricky
When it came to MOD2 (Module 2), Jerry and Ricky’s guidance was instrumental. They provided in-depth road training and shared valuable tips on efficient road use, handling roundabouts, and making one-way turns. Their constructive feedback and real-world scenarios prepared me perfectly for the test. Jerry and Ricky’s extensive knowledge and supportive demeanour ensured I was fully prepared and confident during my MOD2 exam.

Successfully completed the DVSA Enhanced Riding Scheme (ERS). A big thank you to John of Lightning Motorcycle Training for his excellent training session. The ERS is A MUST for anyone interested in improving his/her riding skills and becoming a better and safer rider. John’s training session was both instructive and pleasurable. The session is, more or less, structured as follows: John will take a look at your riding skills, identify some areas for improvement, and give you a tremendous amount of continuous, detailed, and constructive feedback. You should be able to act upon the feedback received straightaway. You will be amazed at both how much knowledge you can gain and how much improvement you can make in just a few hours. But that is not all. You will also be riding through some of the most stunning British landscapes, which no doubt will make your training session both enjoyable and truly memorable.

I had Simon, Dave, Keith and Nick for my A2 license training and tests. All of them were super helpful and easy to get on with. They know what they're talking about and made the while experience really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Absolute shocking organisation and care from Lightning motor training. When I booked with Lightning motor cycle in reading, I thought I would be doing my test in reading but found out after on the email that it would be in Oxford. I wasn’t happy about as no one told me. I booked it in 2 weeks time and then they pulled my training and test forward which was fine, done my training on Sunday (in reading) and test was Tuesday morning in Oxford. On Tuesday I was meant to meet in reading and ride to Oxford to get the feel for the bike. The night before my test the called me to tell me that I had to make my own way to Oxford which put a massive amount of stress on on me as I don’t have a car to get to Oxford as I told them and caused a massive amount of panic and stress and because of that I didn’t sleep because I was worrying. The morning of my test I felt awful but failed the test just not thinking straight and felt like that could of been avoided if I felt like I was looked after by lighting motorcycles and made to feel at easy. instead i felt like I was panic anxious and rushed. after my test had finished they left me there waiting for an hour and a half with no phone no water no food in the sun. I’ve been riding for most of my life and had no issues. Lightning motorcycle training messed me around and I would advise going with another school even if it’s a bit more expensive, at least you will be looked after and made to feel relaxed and not set you up for failure like I feel like I have going with lightning motorcycles

I completed a Back to riding course in March 2024.
After passing my test back in 1995 I have only ridden a bike a few times in the 30 odd years since.
Rich was my instructor, he put me at ease straight away. I had a quick zip round the car park on a 125, before progressing to a 650. After the initial car park ride we went onto the local streets on the 125, after that it was back on the 650 for a 2 1/2 hour ride round Oxfordshire.
All roads catered for, bendy B roads, A roads, and dual carriageways.

Highly recommend.

Can’t wait till my bike arrives to get out their again.

I redone my CBT yesterday with Ed (I think that was his name).

It was an excellent experience compared to previous centres I have done my CBT. He offered lots of sound advice, was very easy to get on with and overall made it a very pleasant day!

I will definitely be back to do further training for DAS

The whole experience from start to finish, from making the first enquiry call, through to finishing up with my mod 2 pass was amazing and I’ll definitely be recommending Lightning Motorcycle Training.

I’d like to extend my gratitude to P.Krzeminski for being my instructor throughout my experience at the ‘Oxford’ site. He was very professional, knowledgable and informative.
I was offered an induction and further booked my CBT.
I passed on the 26/1/2024.
The staff that I met were very friendly and approachable and i’d highly recommended this place to those looking to get into motorcycling.

Really great people. I called up and was looking to renew my CBT and they were able to find me a place the very next day. The process was simple enough to book and told you everything you need to know to be ready for the day.
When getting in for training, I had an excellent training coach (Dave from Wembley) who was dedicated to his role and really pushed us to be the best we could be as riders. He made me aware of bad habits that I had grown like incorrect foot placement, overconfidence and plenty of other important standards a biker should have.
All in all, a great school with brilliant teachers/coaches and I'm certainly looking forward to completing my full license with them.

I did my CBT course today in Reading, it was a great experience. A big thanks to Dave who stuck with me when I was struggling. His instructions and advice were always helpful and accurate. So listen to him and "relax" this is the most important thing to help throughout the day. Simon was very good at presenting all the early modules around clothing and safety before we split into smaller groups. Lightning pass were very informative throughout with emails and messages keeping you up to date with things you need to know and do. Keep up the good work.
