DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They sell utter garbage at a premium price! I paid £72 for a tiny throw sold as chinchilla wave luxury and it should be £15 in home bargains. They send from China…. It’s not uk . 🇬🇧🇬🇧 they don’t even have a label on… this is on alibaba for £10. For those who say they bought for dogs… Costco have furry lined HUGE throws for £20 or go on Richard Haworth hotel range!! Do not buy the trash from here. I’ve now got to get my hard earned money back!!!
They have since emailed me refusing to speak further when I had already started their return procedure and sent them the screen shot…. What sort of company is this. This is their email to me….

China mass production, not exclusive at all

Disappointing experience. I ordered what were advertised as 'Superior Quality' glasses, but after a two-month wait, I received generic glassware manufactured in China. These exact glasses are available on AliExpress for $16. The marketing is highly misleading—save your money and look elsewhere.

Terrible quality products

Terrible quality products, everything arrived in packaging that suggests it was direct from china. Did not match the website or prices charged. I felt ripped off and conned. This company is aggressively seeking to remove bad reviews.

Terrible quality, hyper expensive. Feel utterly cheated.

The products we ordered resembled nothing like what the shiny website resembled. They all came in packaging straight from a Chinese factory and the quality was absolutely bottom barrel. If it had all come in a Christmas cracker it would have been fair enough, honestly it all ended up in the bin. I feel completely cheated by this company.

The website does not represent the goods. We ordered a rug (absolutely tiny, crazy expensive, smelt of awful chemicals) a hanging den and a teepee. All arrived in packaging from a Chinese factory, wrapped in that tatty plastic that is familiar if you buy from Temu or Shein but most importantly was all total junk. Just absolute terrible quality, nothing was even close to functioning, just total rubbish. I've learnt my lesson, all in the bin. Didn't bother getting a refund, avoid this 'company'. I note that all this companies 5* reviews are from people with only 1 review. WE ARE NOT STUPID.

AVOID

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering, Lilly and Lula seemed totally legit on their website and social media, where home creators with large followings have collaborated with them. It had been 6 days since ordering and I’d heard nothing from Yodel, I check up today on tracking and see it will be coming from Ali Express. I paid £40 for napkins and I do not expect to be getting a product from a cheap company otherwise I would have paid less and ordered direct. Essentially they are posing as a small UK based business with high quality items, when they are actually just drop shipping from Ali Express. I paid via PayPal in 3, so I was able to raise a claim for a full refund with them luckily. AVOID

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. Horrible experience. Appalling customer service. I have been extremely disappointed and upset by the rude and unreasonable response from the company who refused my return request after the Christmas period. I am left with an unwanted product I can't return and a lot of ill feeling. Company needs to rethink its approach if it wants to retain customers.

Your return request was approved, and a prepaid return label along with full return instructions were sent to you on three separate occasions — on 27th, 28th, and 30th December. We also followed up each time to let you know that the label had been resent, to ensure you had everything needed to complete the return.

Although our standard returns window is 15 days from delivery, we extended your return period until 14th January, giving you a total of 30 days from delivery as a goodwill gesture in consideration of the Christmas and New Year period. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive the item back within this extended timeframe, and the return was therefore closed in line with our Return & Refund Policy.

We understand that you later advised our emails had gone into your spam folder. While we appreciate how frustrating that can be, email filtering is unfortunately outside of our control. We do, however, make our Return & Refund Policy easily accessible on our website and reference it within all our email communications, so customers are able to check key timelines if needed. Unfortunately, it appears that you missed this.

We always strive to act fairly, transparently, and with our customers’ best interests in mind, and we’re sorry that the final outcome wasn’t the one you had hoped for. That said, we’re confident that your return was handled correctly, with additional flexibility provided as a gesture of goodwill.

Lovely small business

From one small business, to another - I just wanted to leave a little note and have my say! I’m an interior designer and have ordered from LL several times, both for myself and for clients. As a designer, I’m always looking for unique pieces which seem quite hard to come by these days, especially at more affordable rates. And compared to some of the more “premium” brands offering similar quality, Lilly & Lula are actually really well-priced. I have never had any issues with the orders I’ve placed and have always been positively surprised - that said, yes, you might need to wait a few more days for your order to arrive, but I honestly don’t mind waiting for the right piece.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage, total rip off-- the "king sized" blanket we ordered FOR TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS (!!!) was smaller than a BATH TOWEL and reeked of harsh chemicals-- they refused to return it and then stopped responding to emails!!

You first contacted us on 28 January at 3:39pm, and we replied the same day at 4:20pm, with further responses sent at 5:07pm and 6:22pm. Your review was posted at 1:01am on 29 January. While we always aim to respond promptly during business hours, we don’t operate overnight.

Your order was placed for the 80*80cm size, which was clearly selected at checkout and confirmed in both your order and shipping confirmation emails. Our customer service team also provided screenshots from the product page to demonstrate that sizes must be selected via the dropdown menu, alongside details from the product description confirming all available sizes. The price paid corresponds to the 80*80cm size, and larger sizes were available at the time of purchase.

In addition, the item was purchased from our clearance section with a 60% discount, and as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy, clearance items are final sale.

Regarding comments about odour, all items are quality-checked by our team prior to dispatch, and we would not ship any item with a smell or defect. Despite this, we were willing to review the item upon return; however, no return was arranged and correspondence subsequently ceased from you.

We regret that we were unable to reach a resolution on this occasion. We are confident that we responded promptly, applied our policies fairly, and made reasonable efforts to assist throughout.

Rattan wall baskets

Ordered 4 medium and smal walll baskets in rattan. They are beautifully made and look great together. Order was dispatched and received quickly.

Great Customer Service!

Five Stars for customer service! Quick answer, to the point and great service! I had to return my item as it didn’t work in the intended space. I reached out to customer service who provided a response straight away and approved my request. Super straightforward process - they privide a prepaid return label via email and collection can be arranged if neccessary. Wish it was this easy to return items generally!

This website is a con

This website is a con. I ordered an item from here. When it arrived it had clearly been drop shipped from China. Even the Chinese label was still on it. We found the item on Amazon for less than half the price. They have not responded to any emails I have sent them and I am now contacting standing standards. Avoid.

Avoid! Cheap Chinese Drop-Shipping Company

Our experience with Lilly and Lula was horrible. We had saved up for our house interiors before Christmas and spent €500 of our €1000 budget on what we thought were beautiful wall lights and quality candle holders.

Everything arrived directly from China and took a very long time to reach us, which wasn’t made clear at the time of purchase. When the items finally arrived, the quality was extremely poor. Everything felt cheap and flimsy, nothing like the images or the price suggested.

The packaging was also very disappointing — each item was wrapped in thin, plastic, sweet-like packets, which made the whole experience feel even more low-end and wasteful.

Overall, this was a huge let-down. For the price we paid, we expected well-made products and transparent sourcing. Instead, we were left deeply disappointed and wishing we had spent our money elsewhere.

We are in the process of trying to return

UPDATE:
We won our dispute thanks to Revolut. We got a full refund of the amount back into our accounts. We were so angry and deflated as the emails back and forth with Lilly and lula were taking a lot of time and energy as they would not back down.
I would recommend anybody who was also ripped off by this cheap drop shipping company to request a chargeback through revolut or visa. It worked for us thankfully. We are now going to buy lights from a reputable supplier.

Such a dreadful company

Such a dreadful company. Spent over £95 on a ‘plush’ play tent. It is the most awfully made piece of tat that was already ripped when I put it up for the child on Christmas Day. Then wired started poking out the next day. Material thin as anything. I complained and they took ages to reply and when they did said they wouldn’t refund as I didn’t tell them about it within 48 hours of delivery - it was built for the child on Christmas Day!!!! It is totally not fit for purpose. I am beyond shocked. Clearly scam artists.
