I had conversations with the rep over…
I had conversations with the rep over email and really tried to explain what I wanted. After a back and forth email trail I requested a conversation. He ended up recommending a radiator with higher BTU’s but failed to highlight it wasn’t a Matte flat radiator which was my first request. He wouldn’t agree to exchange by paying the postage and said I could return in person to Lincolnshire knowing I was based in London. A typical example of why I hate buying items online. Once they have your money the customer service goes out of the window. I’m now stuck with a radiator that I don’t like and I will not be using or recommending this company again.

We're disappointed to receive this review, particularly given the amount of time spent assisting you before placing your order.
You initially requested a white matt vertical radiator with a high BTU output. We discussed our flat panel options, but unfortunately the available sizes weren't suitable for your requirements.
We therefore suggested an alternative from our oval panel range, which was clearly described as such in our correspondence.
You also specifically queried the finish before purchasing, and we confirmed that our white radiators have an eggshell matt finish.
Having discussed these options, you proceeded to place your order and subsequently thanked us for our assistance.
We appreciate the radiator may not be quite what you envisaged, but we feel it's unfair to suggest you weren't informed of the options or that our customer service disappeared after taking payment.
We haven't refused a return or exchange. However, where a customer changes their mind about a product, return carriage is normally their responsibility, subject to their statutory rights.
We're sorry you're disappointed, but we believe we provided clear information and reasonable assistance throughout.

I am so glad I bought my towel radiator from Lincs Rads. It has proved to be a quality item at a very competitive price and functions brilliantly. It has a shallow depth which has proved ideal for us as our bathroom door opens onto it. Delivery was very quick and the packaging was good. It also has a 20 year guarantee. i highly recommend dealing with this company and I will probably replace other radiators in my house by ordering again from this company.

The radiators look great BUT...
The radiators look great, unfortunately my fitter is well hacked off with the radiator fittings.
The house has dot and dab plaster walls and there are no product information or website warning of the need for special fittings when fitting the radiator to the wall.

We’re sorry to read your review and are pleased to hear that you think the radiators themselves look great.
With regard to the fitting issue, dot-and-dab walls do require the correct fixing method, as the plasterboard/plaster can sit away from the masonry behind it. This is not specific to our radiators and is something the installer needs to take into account when fitting any radiator to this type of wall.
The brackets can be packed out from the wall by the depth of the dot-and-dab, using suitable spacers or even an appropriate section of pipe, for example, to prevent the bracket being pulled into the plasterboard/plaster.
We also offer feet as an alternative fixing option where appropriate, including for stud or partition-type walls.
We’re sorry that your fitter has encountered an issue, but we don’t believe this is a problem with the radiators themselves. We would always recommend that the installer assesses the wall construction and uses the appropriate fixings for the particular installation.
We hope this helps clarify the situation and that, now that the fitting issue can be resolved, you may reconsider the rating, particularly as you have said that you are happy with the radiators themselves.

Sorry to hear there may have been a tad delay on your delivery. For our larger items we use 2 man delivery service unlike our competitors, where they may not deliver every day of the week in your area. However 99% of the time it arrives in pristine condition.
