Aujourd’hui, j’apprends qu’il est encore au magasin. Il ne peut être expédié parce que je ne suis pas l’acheteur officiel. On ne m’a pas informé. J’ai pourtant déjà fait réparer un autre store par le passé et j’ai payé pour la réparation. Je ne peux recevoir d’aide au Service à la clientèle. Je suis dans une impasse et ne sais plus vers qui me tourner.

Very poor quality and very poor customer service. Save your money.

If you have any issue with delivery or an item, just know that there is absolutely zero customer service. It took 3 weeks for my shipment to be delivered. There were issues with the carrier and i had to follow up with Canpar everyday day with no meaningful update from them. There was no way to reach Linen Chest. They have a live chat, which is in fact just a useless AI bot with no live agent. Phone number just redirects to their useless website and they do not answer emails.
On the positive side, I do like the item received.

Nous avons acheté des stores Hunter Douglas chez Linen Chest et notre expérience globale a été excellente. Le vendeur qui est venu chez nous était très compétent, les stores ont été fabriqués rapidement et installés correctement. Deux stores présentaient un léger défaut de fabrication, et Linen Chest a collaboré avec Hunter Douglas pour les faire remplacer sans délai. Nous avons maintenant les stores depuis six mois et nous les trouvons excellents. Ils ne sont pas bon marché, mais nous sommes convaincus d'en avoir eu pour notre argent. Enfin, Linen Chest a toujours été très communicatif avec nous tout au long du processus.

Do not use - nearly a month after placing an order, it still has not shipped (despite saying it would be 1 to 4 days). When I try and track, the page says there is an error. And all the links on the customer service page do not work so I can't attempt to contact them.

We bought 2 sets of Prestige 400 Queen size sheet sets.
One is still unopened. Given the defective quality of the first set we used for only one week, we do not wish to keep the second set,
The other had the border of the flat sheet tear away from the sheet due to improper sewing. A photo of the defective seam was emailed as per your instructions (in French, not in English).
As requested, 2 photos of the Queen sheet set were also attached, showing the 4 pieces of the set as well as the brand name and the second showing the UPC sticker and price.
Given the regular $400 price of these 2 sheet sets, I am dismayed at their quality and have been exceedingly frustrated with the "interaction" I had to go through with your website chatbot as well as the failure to include all pertinent information in both languages in the "response" email.
Since good-quality sheets (which we were assured we were purchasing, even being upsold to their purchase) would not ordinarily need to be returned (nor have we ever had to do so), there did not seem to be any reason to keep the receipt.
I have still not received a reply to or resolution of my complaint as described and documented in the email chain included below. The original complaint was made 07 March; my most recent message to you was made 14 April and included all the information you asked for; it is now 29 April and I have no resolution.
This is increasingly unacceptable. Is this really how you want to represent your company?

I ordered a sound machine for a baby gift, it ended up being defective. The customer service at Linen Chest is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely no way to speak to someone, useless online bot that just keeps looping back to no where. I don’t live near a store, I’ve been waiting weeks for a response. I just need them to reply and agree to exchange the broken baby gift. The recipients would love to have their gift, I’m not sure it’s going to happen. The automated reply I received to my email said they are experiencing a high volume of customer service inquires right now. I’m not sure why that is, it’s April, not Christmas. If they can’t keep up, hire more staff. I really want to shop Canadian but this company is horrible, I won’t be spending my money here ever again. Don’t shop here, go anywhere else!

I needed help buying sheets. I hadn’t bought sheets in years. Several people helped me and took a real interest in me. Honestly I thought the help I got was excellent. They seemed really pleased that I was happy. I will definitely go back to that store and I give it top marks.

I have shopped many times at Linen Chest, but my recent experience at the Square One location was unacceptable.
When you go in to buy something, staff are everywhere—watching, approaching, and ready to help. The moment you come in for a return, that energy disappears. No one wants to help, and you are left on your own.
I tried to return one item that was completely unused, unopened, and still in its original box. I also came back within the 30-day return period. Despite this, my return was refused with no clear explanation.
The attitude from the staff made it worse. They were dismissive, unhelpful, and gave the impression that returns are a problem they don’t want to deal with. It felt like I was being avoided rather than assisted.
This experience made one thing very clear: the focus is on selling, not on customer service. That kind of behavior is disappointing, especially for repeat customers.
If a store is only helpful when taking your money but disappears when you need support, that is not customer service, it’s just sales.

Update: Still no response. They were quick to respond to the review but provide no customer service. I want my money back.
I should have read the reviews prior to ordering. I ordered on March 21st. After a week of not receiving an update I checked the tracking and it said expected shipment date was April 9th. Seems excessive to me but fine. April 9th has come and gone with no new update. I NEVER would have ordered had I known it would take this long. I have since reached out via email with no response. Linen Chest is holding my money and I am beginning to think this company is a scam.

I had an extremely frustrating experience shopping online with Linen Chest Canada. There’s a problem with the dresser I purchased, and despite reaching out by email, I’ve been waiting for over two months for a response. They don’t even provide a phone number to contact customer service. I also went into a store hoping to get help in person, but the staff there were unable to assist me or resolve the issue because I purchased the dresser online not in-store. Overall, this experience deserves a negative rating—not even 1 star.

I had a very poor experience with Linen Chest’s online customer service.
I submitted a request and have been waiting for over a month without any meaningful response or resolution. Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no accountability, no clear communication, and no effort to resolve the issue.
This is unacceptable for a company operating in eCommerce, where timely support is critical. Waiting weeks for basic assistance reflects a serious gap in customer service standards.
Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from Linen Chest again and would caution others about relying on their customer support.

If I could give this company a 0, I would. I have been waiting for 3.5 months on a order that was sold as to be delivered in 1-3 weeks and half the package was so severely damaged that I had to go pick it up from the delivery provider (even though I had paid for shipping) and this was 3 months after I placed the original order. I have been emailing customer support for over a month now and have not received a single response. The other half of my order has still not been shipped. This was after spending over $500 with them. I can't cancel the order online because it has been so long and they have offered zero compensation or refund based on the issue I have had. I will never order from them again and I highly discourage anyone from buying from them unless it is instore and you leave with your purchase. UPDATE - Linen Chest responded to my review saying that my claim had been escalated. This was over a week ago and I still received zero response from them, nor have I received my full order. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL.

I placed an order for a sheet set and a pair of salt and pepper shakers (order # 84322932). I was happy with the sheet set. They sent 2 unboxed salt shakers. The item was supposedly two shakers in the shape of elephants with intertwined trunks. I opened a complaint RMA #1100009763. I waited a month without a reply, I replied to the form email asking for a refund. 3 weeks later, still no reply. This is not customer service, this is fraud. Follow up ....I received a full credit to my charge car on March 30, 2026.

I made an online order for a duvet cover and pillow shams for my son's birthday. The items were shipped on Feb 11 and made it to British Columbia by Feb 17. Then the items sat at a Can-Par facility in Surrey and Burnaby until Mar 9 when they shipped them back to Lachine Quebec. I tried reaching out to any customer service line but always got directed to Elsie the "bot". Elsie said she would start a case, but I have yet to hear from anyone. I emailed to verify that they had the unit number and then emailed again to ask why it was taking so long to make the delivery. I received a reply in french. I purposefully wanted to use a Canadian company, but I would have been better off ordering from Amazon. This has been a very frustrating experience, and we still don't have a refund or the products.

I love the quality and selection of Linen Chest products. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for help regarding my Feb 18th 2026 order. Though in the past their online customer service has been very helpful, I wish they were able to provide less delayed customer service. I can only shop online because my mobility transpo won't take me to the nearest Linen Chest which is in a neighboring city. The delayed replies makes shopping online frustrating. I hope their customer response speed increases. Update: Linen Chest got back to me a few days ago and gave me the price adjustment I had asked for.
